I watched the entire thing and listed every track. In the Streets of Rage OST, "Go Straight" and "Dreamer" are my favorites. I like the soundtrack from Wangan Midnight R also.
Doing God's work you are.
Excelent work man. Thank you
Thank you. I appreciate it. :)
:-D
Brother (or Madam) awesome does not describe you
Fucking boss, those people were really feeling the magic.
I dont trust people that dont like the SoR3 soundtrack. Straight club bangers from start to finish. Such a heavy soundtrack for its time.
About 5 tunes on SOR2 would not look out of place on the SOR3 OST, and vice versa, there are about 5 tunes on the SOR3 soundtrack that would not look out of place on the SOR2 OST. I think the ratio of piano dance to hardcore industrial put a lot of people off in SOR3.
It probably doesn't help that there are some not so good tunes on SOR3 ost, like pretty much the entire Stage 4 (which Koshiro also doesn't seem to replay) and some of the best tunes in SOR3 are used too much, such as Stage 1-1 which gets used in the 1st and various other stages and even on both last bosses. SOR3 has a great OST but it's a bit hit and miss, unfortunately. Just like the actual game too.
Motohiro Kawashima was simply way ahead of his time. by '94 this was still extremely experimental electronica music that didn't see the lights of a club until 98 onwards. That's why SOR3 music got a lot of hate considering that Yuzo followed the musical trends of the late 80's and early 90's with house variations. I think most of the SOR fans were expecting something still pop/house based for the BGM but instead both Yuzo and Motohiro wanted something harder and more frantic so yeah, some even call it acquired taste.
Gimme Expander, Inga Rasen and Crazy Train in a rave and I'd be banging like crazy!
I love that remix of Dreamer, it's perfect
Blast processing!
hahahahaha
Ninja Tune!
Expander hits so fucking hard man.
two people smashed a newspaper box and didn't get a turkey
“Bwooop”😅
Man. I started love him. At time was life perfect. I m lucky i hear those sounds in 1996
Talk shit about my boy, yuzo koshiro. See what happens.
This vid is damn legendary, all u need to save forever
27:43 Crazy train always gets me fired up. Love hearing that beat drop and the crowd roaring
Me too :)
objective is to spent the night without punch anyone
Looooool
😅
This set jumps out of the gates with pure nasty sick beats and doesn't look back.
🙌🙌🙌
💪🏻👊
😉
It still amazes to this day that Sega allowed Yuzo to use such hardcore tunes on a video game. I guess after the success of SOR2 they just said "It's all yours!"
need more plz ^^ yuzo koshiro is a god for me
amazing. i still go back and listen to the shenmue 2 soundtrack for inspiration. what a genius this guy is...
Best version of Dreamer ever!!!! That song is my life
Absolutely incredible. Finally made it to Tokyo. Someone press reset please!
omg Dreamer kicked in :D
These fm sounds are crazy 😮
Hi chino, Mr. Joker 27 here, now this is my new account and username.
@@RetroMasterVGM . Thanks amino I was waiting for you to return your a legend in my heart
@@chinossynthesizer705 This legend is back again, now call me RetroMasterVGM.
most of these tracks are from an amazing classic beat em up game called STREETS OF RAGE. real house/techno music. right there/.
NICE 👍
This is dope!
Streets of Rage (1991)!
love and miss you yuzo koshiro
Why do you miss him? He's still making music.
"Some of Koshiro's latest work includes music for the Etrian Odyssey series,[10] the Wangan Midnight series, and the 7th Dragon series ." from wikipedia
EOV is coming soon, I believe he's doing the soundtrack for that. EO1, 2 and 3 have an old school sountrack, should give it a listen.
+Boor Haave because I miss my childhood
Goof Love you scared me into panic-google mode thinking he was dead! False alarm
Hi, this is one of my favorite sets of all time and I've been looking for more information about the event! Do you know anything about this recording, such as who took the footage, or if there are potentially more recordings floating around? I have someone who would love to see Nanosounds (Hiroshi Okubo b2b Koji Nakagawa) if their set was recorded!
At first thought, I wished I could be there (still do). On second thought, that might not be a good idea. I would be smashing stuff looking for apples, fighting girls with whips, throwing knives at punkers, and falling from the sky when a life is lost. I would definitely love to meet that punk in the yellow jacket, tight short pants and spiked hair. In 92, he snuck up on my from behind and threw me while I was fighting someone else. I died because I had not yet figured out holding up and jump causes you to land on your feet. 🤣🤣🤣 Not a good look when people just want to dance and have a good time.
😂 I would be eating all the turkey “bwooop” “grand uppercut”
@Yuzoboy you know me, my old channel was Mr. Joker 27, now I'm back with more music, stay tuned.
ES UN DIOOOSSS !!!! hi from Venezuela !! IT IS A GOD !!!
Hows the recent situation there? I hope all are safe in good hands!
@@ivannanto Maduro is blood sports
Btw the way we hear it now is exactly how it would have been interrupted on cd since he can fully use his tools!
If he came to Websterhall to perform alot of inspired djs like tiesto daft punks entire label and deadmau5 would join the line!
StormyKnight plz
Yuzo is levels ahead of them
Oh man, when Expander punches its way into the set, how can you not move to that shit?
maaan u back 2 me 10 years😢😭
Only 10 years? This took me back to 1991when I first played Streets of Rage 1 haha!
😂 I would be eating all the turkey “bwooop” “grand uppercut”

As far as I remember, in the description there was the year of this video. 1997 can be? Why it has been removed? Would love to know the year that this awesome moment happened please.
Genio
nastalhgia yehhhh
The dislikes is from galcia and friends haha
Who's this?
beast !!
I want to buy a CD copy of the drum and bass at 6:00 please
5:41 😤
He needs to dance actually show that youre there and doing what you love
He’s not a dancer he’s an electronic music performer
Or you can show support and dance to his music instead of demanding the producer to do it for you. Why would you assume he doesn't love what he does? 🙄
HE, HE , HE!
😂 that guy always made me laugh “bwooop” “oooahhhhh” “grand uppercut” “aaaa”
Streets of Rage 4's been announced y'all... No idea if Mr. Koshiro will be in it or not.
It's not SoR without him.
He is, even retro soundtrack
can someone tell me the music that is played around the 30:00 mark? what game is that?
I'll have to check his PS2 works then. Hopefully I'll find it so I can add it to my VGM collection. Thank you!
It is the Wangan Midnight Soundtrack released in 2002 with music composed by Koshiro. vgmdb.net/album/136

@@Yuzoboy can you upload it again or give me a link to the download? I really enjoyed his set and i can't find it anywhere.
@@orbita1 Sure ill dig it out and upload it soon.
@@Yuzoboy hey, I know I’m digging up a really old comment but is this in reference to Hiroshi Okubo? I’ve been trying to find any evidence that his set was even recorded! If it’s floating around somewhere I’d love to hear it!
can someone find the link to this club please
Where can we find the song listing and perhaps an album version?
Data Discs has pressed Streets of Rage 1 and 2 soundtracks on vinyl if you are down with that.

That EPIC transition!
Whats the music on 37min?
@ around 27:30, there's a transition into another song. What is this song?
Aaron D Crazy Train from Streets Of Rage 3.
It bugs me how little he moves his body to the music haha, he's just in a zen mode the whole set
He’s not a dancer he’s an electronic music performer
What year is that?
If only he played wmmt music :(
He does. Just not Maximum Tune stuff
@@jojijoestar7233 yeah i know, the wmmt series hadn't come out at the time afaik
