I concur, and bring back the Innuendo Iguana!
@@SheldonYingthere was a need for that with all those grab handles.
I remember the day the Telluride came out. It was a game changer. I am a Ford fan, so the Expedition was my SUV. But when Telluride dropped, I could not stop loving it and still do to this day
@@THEREDROCKET23you bought 6 of the same car? Was lighting your money on fire too simple?
One of these days, you're really going to have to get the kiddo her own microphone!
"oh wait I'm the rear passenger" lol kiddo was killing it.
It's been such a joy to see her evolve in our videos from a quiet little toddler to clever rear-seat contributor.❤️
@@MicahMuzio absolutely!! She's got that muzio witt 😊
Just think what a contributor she would be with her own microphone.@@MicahMuzio
the Kiddo's one liners are hilarious 🙌🏾😂🙌🏾
I wish all car reviewers had a separate section just for the seats and seat comfort. This is one of the most important aspects of buying a car.
physical control buttons is beautiful easy to use!
Kia needs to put a hybrid powertrain in this like they are about to do with the Carnival. 19 city MPG versus up to 37 for the new Grand Highlander hybrid. That is a huge difference.
And $10k more
I absolutely LOVE my 2024 Telluride.
Telluride/Palisade are comfy and solid, extremely compelling. The growly V6 adds to the tasty ambiance. I chose a 2024 Palisade XRT particularly for its design and value, plus I have a good relationship with DeMontrond Hyundai, south of Houston.
How do you like that XRT? I'm specifically wondering what a person misses when going w/that rather than a Limited. Did you compare those 2 trims at all? Anything the XRT doesn't have that you wish it did?
@@marketweis Limited is a $6100 step up in price over XRT, and with Limited you get leather (instead of H-Tex) , vented front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, ambient interior lighting, a bigger sunroof, Harman Kardon audio, and additional digital displays in the instrument cluster. I did not look at Limited, as I like the XRT style a little better. Plus, paying cash I intended to stick to a budget, and XRT was spot on. However, Limited still looks like an EXCELLENT value for the size, comfort, features, and all else Palisade provides!
@@LYNDONGOLDEN Thank you for the info!
Excellent video as always!
OMG First off, kiddo is such a mini Micah! 💕 Secondly, I think it’s time she gets mic’d too. 🎤
Love the family natural synchronicity during this review. It just flowed from spouse to spouse to the little lady. Nevertheless, an awesome family review.
I like this channel. That was a fun review.
Awesome review guys! Only thing I would add is, I feel as if the steering wheel is thinner than I would have expected. I could just be use to my WRX, but it doesn’t feel as thick as it should.
"Grab handles"..Micah had his hands full that night! Love the playful banter..
We're not for everyone. So we really appreciate folks like you who get us. Cheers!!
"Don't sideswipe a bee"....hahahaha. Loved that. Another awesome video!
Thanks for watching!!
I like this family approach to reviewing . Mazda or telluride?
Family matters!
Micah, what are your thoughts on recent media reporting that, to earn a European NCAP 5 star rating in the future, manufacturers may need to go back to physical buttons for certain controls?
The kiddo is so funny and cute ❤
Turn radius?
Still hard to beat.
Pilot and Grand Highlander are worthy competitors, though.
I think we’re in a phase in the automotive industry where the OEM’s designed to age gracefully so each generation can last longer and still look good and make the next generations even better
Love your reviews! Are you guys really that nice?!
We have struggles and disagreements like any family but home life is pretty close to what you see in these videos.
Is there a special episode at 200k subs?
I’m not sure I’m a fan of amber running lights. It’s potentially confusing, isn’t it? I always thought white lights are coming at you, red lights are not or are stopping, and amber are things you should take note of. So amber for running lights is kinda throwing me off.
We did it....amber lights are back!🤗
...for a limited time only?🧐
Its Spring in Florida and there is
every manner of flying and crawling
creatures you can imagine.
Hiking last year ,,, I happened upon
a large hive that was spitting into 2.
Huge cloud of bees that took about
20 minutes to clear enough to pass.
The sound was incredible 👍
Kia EV9 next please?
We have an EV9 on the calendar. :)
@@MicahMuzio Thank you in advance. 🕺🏽
talk about cruise control capability
I have never, and will never understand the concept for the captain’s chairs. They seem impractical
"Awkward silence." Very perceptive child...but those of us who have been watching for a while already knew that. 😊😉
Mike Danger said on KBB that Micah doesn't do videos anymore,.... I am very relieved to find out that he is,.... wrong. Yay, it's totally yall's jam bro!!!
Ha! You're very kind. Cheers!
I wish all car reviewers had a separate section just for the seats and seat comfort
Shout out to Bako, CA! Miles Muzio!
Hey, Bako People!!
Kiddo needs a mic lol
I think you're right. Kiddo's earned a mic.
Are you also reviewing the new Hyundai Santa Fe?
As soon as we can get our hands on one.
Good, very good car. It is a bit expensive, though.
What? 38k for a 3 seater with all those options? A loaded Subaru Crosstrek is 35K and a Forester is over 40K. Average new car sale price in the US is 48k now.
Get the kid a mic! Get the kid a mic!
We've heard you and we agree. We'll be getting kiddo a mic soon. :)
It’s a BEE-autiful vehicle.
Optimus Prime must be falling on hard times 😂
I laughed aloud at your comment.
@@MicahMuzio Mission Accomplished! 💪
AWD DIESEL?
This is what the Ford Explorer should have been at the same price point.
Do a Cybertruck next!
The most important question that I’m sure everyone wants to know is were any bees hurt in the making of this video?
Def nicer then the new santa fe tbh
Do you all prefer this or the Palisade?
#backseatpassengersmatter😊
Cute family!!👍👌🤞✌️
Evie more ripped than Micah for sure
The Telluride is still the king of it's segment. Everyone has copied it but nobody has taken it down... yet. I am sure that will eventually change, but for now it's still the top dog.
I got a X-Pro and it is not cheap. So far I like it.
👍🏼
I can't put my finger on why, but something about the steering wheel screams 2006 to me. It sticks out like a sore thumb in an otherwise modern-looking interior.
Wonder what you think of the Toyota steering wheel in the Grand Highlander then? 2001?
Being a simple steering wheel helps older customers have a feeling of familiarity. It's usually older people at least in their 40's and up that buy these brand new. Especially the higher trim.
Even younger people prefer crossovers or smaller SUVs.
Grab handles 👀
lol
I've said it for many years and I'm not letting it go. It's unacceptable (for me) that most of these manufacturers want to reduce my capacity when I choose to take advantage of some of their higher tier options. I'm never letting that go and it's part of the reason I didn't buy one. Kudos to Kia for losing that fisher price gray cladding on the bottom from a year ago. Love your family reviews. Please keep them coming.
Still the best in class Micah
Rip to the grand highlander and TX who failed miserably as usual to compete with the telluride
Except in terms of maximum cargo space, available horsepower, and available MPG. Things that don't matter to people.
@@alexmassengale433 horsepower is nothing considering the hybrid max is still slow and overpriced not to mention the cargo space isn’t worlds better than a telluride but the comfort and luxury are superior to both of them
The Grand Highlander is better than the Telluride.
@@bradyb9929 in exterior, interior design, materials, fit finish, build quality, tech, features, driving experience, luxury, and value no it’s not even close. Telluride palisade both mop the Toyota inside and out
@@bradyb9929except the grand highlander platinum looks and feels like a stretched out decontented Rav4. Interior door panels and design look soo cheap.
I thought about it… But decided to get a ‘24 Pilot instead.
I knew that Kia totally copied the Volvo XC90 for the Telluride, but that console door that doesn’t want too close is too much-our Volvo had the same issue, and it was common.
4 year old model is aging now? What?
Car companies typically work on a 5 year cycle. 2024 marks the Telluride's 5th model year. A new Telluride shouldn't arrive too long from now.
Hey y’all I gotta ask is Mica's wave gesture on every thumbnail some sort of inside joke? It just looks so stiff, artificial and affected quite frankly. 🙋♂️
These things are so junk. My girlfriend pulled on one of these 50k SUVs in her 13 Sorento. Took it by a car length
