Great to see Conner (The Shredinator). Give the lad more time to do this properly. People would probably be interested to hear the thought process of picking out the items. The abbreviated version of this doesn't do it justice. Looks thrown together because it was. I would like to see this re visited later when Conner can have the proper amount of time
Glad I stuck around on this one - opening tone wasn’t for me, but hearing the cleans and lead sounds in the middle I left pretty suprised and impressed. 0:174:44
250 for the mini head (on sale), 250 for the pedal, 350 for the guitar, 219 for the cabinet (on sale), mystery reverb pedal. Yep, that definitely comes in at under £1000. No problems here 👌
What happened to the actual "choosing" though? Please bring the shopping part of the series back... That being said, "affordable" guitars ($2-400) these days are FANTASTIC for the money. Ibanez, Schecter, Jackson, Squire, Harley Benton, and MANY more all have very playable options for the guitarist on a budget ✌️
On the gate point: please try a Fortin Zuul with (this is very important) the key input and regular input. This literally tells the gate which part of the sound is your guitar and which part is circuit hum. I never turn mine off (even for clean stuff) and I don't even play much metal.
Amp-wise you could consider a JBL PartyBox 110. Why? For around £240 you get a great amplifier with 2 inputs (for guitar and mic), Bluetooth (for your phone/tablet) and two levels of bass boost. You can even take it anywhere and power a pedal or effects processor via USB. The speakers sound great and you can control the volume levels individually. Also great to just listen to some music or watch a movie!
We need more rig challenges but where the person walks around the store. I get that there's more choice online but the store walk content is more engaging
People criticise the amp and they forget about the guitar he's using. Any amp would sound bad with those pickups...the sound he's getting is characteristic of a cheap guitar
Correction YOU haven't. Love when bozos say dumb shit like this as if their experience is everyone's lol. Do yourself a favor and stop listening to all your 70s an 80s shit and broaden your horizons. Loads of great young players these days bud.
These videos were great when they actually made the process of choosing the gear on camera. Now, it’s kind of boring.
I was thinking that, takes the fun element out of it choosing between things etc
Yeah that would be noce to see. But doesnt make it all boring. This guy gave me new ideas to use floyd xD
At least a montage. C'mon. I like shopping. Not laptop shopping, either. I want them to have to go in the store.
It would be equally boring watching them phone the warehouse cuz the "affordable" stuff they want isn't in the store
Agree. Walk around the bloomin' store you lazy toads
Honey! I Scooped The Mids!
Well that wasn't a complete car crash (ey) 😂so much fun though! Hope you all enjoy!

Love the Ibanez blacked out... Nice Choices... Cheers 🍻🥃🥃🎸🎼🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶
Wow.....that Dyers Eve segment, harder and tighter than Mr.H's original. Sounded so fresh Connor.....goosebumps.
07:04 WHO SCOOPED THE MIDS??? 😆😂
now that lad can play a bit, loved the vid guys ("MORE")!
Didn't think I'd ever see an Infant Annihilator call out on this channel.
I was just going to ask what band that was 😀 apparently a particularly calm part of an IA song
Well done Captain and Connor. Best content on the net
Connor is just unfreakinbelievable 🔥

Great seeing Conner at Andertons! More pls …
He is a funny fella that CAPTAIN 😂
What riff on the first outro?

7:03 lmao 😂😂
Awesome jam
No way that GIO has a LO pro edge on it .
I thought the same. It doesn't.
what is that song he was playing at the end? not the lead bit
Dyers Eve by Metallica :)
I'm glad that I don't have to skip the walk through the store. That's boring and delivers no information.
And fake, cuz they've almost certainly picked it days before browsing the website
So good to see him at Andertons! Great player.
Heavy
Nice rig for the price point.
That's £70 over £1000 plus a free reverb pedal :P
Cap was on fine form, very funny.
Hmmm...
Amp: 250
Cab: 300
Precision Drive: 250
Guitar: 350
That's 1150 so far - add 100 for the HoF. Total: 1250. Yup. That's under a grand. NOT!
Is he any relation to the magnificent Mik Kaminski?

Played through a cheap, solid-state amp.
@@stoneysdead689exactly.
My squire sounds fantastic through my victory tube amp.
Connor achieves the worst tone in this series yet
too much of this a rig for under a grand- is so old hat now
those sextuplets...
Oh yay, Conner Kominski! Wait……who? 🤣
Who the f is Connor Jablinski?
1000$ isn't enough and literally no one has ever heard of this guy.
If almost nobody have heard about him maybe 100$ is enough 🤔

Not like the legenday trevorD1156; we've all heard of such an incredible player.
@@ajohnhayes
Trevor is my favourite banjo player
Next to that young little weird looking guy in the movie Deliverance
that mini head just sounds bad imo
