Correct and he says something like TDD at some point, I don't know what that is. A place to sell quantanium or legal substance.
Another way to set the route is to type ‘r’. That way you don’t have an issue with the target changing when you move your mouse.

@@Astro_Mani Basically the way I do it is when I search and the place appears and i hit enter, it goes to the place, has it targeted and you see the button that you would normally try to click on, but instead of moving the mouse at all, I just hit r when I see the button. It also usually works when you are mousing over a destination which changes the target sometimes as well (which is the issue you were having), while hover over your destination and you see the button active, can usually hit r there as well.

Extremely lucky to find weevil eggs on your second MRT. Ive done 15 MRTs and HRTs in a row and got 0 illegal cargo.

I said it was a gamble. getting quant and other drugs is still good. I have farmed all day and found about 50 eggs, you just have to keep ttrying. (the 50eggs I found was on bigger ships, I havnt been in my titan all day)
Yeah I agree this video is pretty misleading,
I've found 1 out of 10 bounties will have cargo - let alone I've never seen anything worth taking like eggs

This is such clickbait for new players. Very very rare to find illegal goods in mrt. Hell, I've barely found eggs on hrt
Tried this method for 5 hours doing the same MRT missions in the yela belt. i soft deathed 90% of the targets, not a single ship spawned with loot inside. Was a huge waste of time for me.
How do you get the dog fighting MRTs? I only get missions to go to wreck sites to shoot some guys,
I don't usually like or comment on things but youre getting both. This is such an awesome video on how to make money as a beginner. I took a long break and will be coming back to the game soon when my HOSAS setup comes in and this will be what I'm doing. Not only do you get to have fun shooting down bounties, but then you get to scan, loot, and cargo haul. An amazing way to experience all portions of SC. Thank you! o7

@@Astro_Mani I believe you. I'm just saying it's surprises me because most of what I do is bounty hunting and I never see it except the ERT main target. I will share the video with some newer players I got into the game so they can make some Benjamin's
When you hit your destination on the map you can just hit R on the keyboard to route instead of clicking route. Will def save some headache
The ship in the first bounty was a a 315p which has up to 12SCU cargo, which is morethan a Reliant Kore..

done like 30vrhts this patch and ive found 0wevil eggs and the cargo is always worth around 50-100k per vhrt.. once i did find 28scu of quantanium

if you are struggling with the map, make sure that you arent typing anything after you find the point you want to QT to, the with the mouse over it press R, it will set the route
I tried this for 2 hours and didn't find a single ship with cargo as the main target and the best cargo I found was gold
The Connies and Cutties seem to be good candidates for cargo to my experience with 3.23, and naturally anything bigger, but stuff that is bigger is rare in MRTs. Though only SLAM and maze for me so far.
In between runs while you dont find cargo, you can salvage ships components, those can be sold at 10-20k each on grim
It also has a size 4 weapon on the nose. Swap the default for an AD4B and you're in business.
This video showed me that I got ripped off. I helped a random guy raid a bunker and steal eggs and SLAM. Had a C1 filled up pretty nicely and he said we only made 660k. I'm sure we had at least 8 SCU of eggs + the other stuff.

You can pull them to the space.. it needs a bit of time, but they will follow you if you have shot the mission target..

You can catch them mid-air with a 315p too as it has a pilot controlled tractor beam. :D
i think they need to give all new players one of each starter ship for a week or two, i think as a new player its tricky to find a ship you like and i personally went for a cutter rambler but having the ability for new players to pick the one they want to keep after a week or two is a good idea, it would give new players a good amount of time to learn the game and then pick the ship they want to use as they are fundamentally different.
Good vid man a lot of new players don't know how valuable a tractor beam really is.

Its rare but you can hit Jackpots on ERT level bounties. I hit 21scu of Gasping Weevil eggs. Made me 21 million credits off that.
What bounty hunter level is required for the ERT contracts? I’m on tracker just now

Often talked about but rarely really shown when people say to do bountys in chat, they mean this - not just the bountys. Thanks as alot of new people wouldnt know to check the cargos for that extra side money. Its RNG but u atleast have to know about potential cargo, and even if its only a few extra bucks with lesser cargo helps loosing up the game loop.
You need to be extremely lucky that no AI pirate ships are flying around Brio‘s. They are tough these days.

It's rare and becomes more common if you go further up the mission progression. So if you are not broke, I would not bother with scanning MRTs, but you know, if you only have a starter you need the money, so it might be a good idea. Made my first million in the game back in the days from a Redeemer dropping 11 eggs for in an iirc MRT or VHRT. :D
you can hover over the place you want to go if it allows you to but won't let you set route and press R on the keyboard by default and it will set route without clicking
How is it with the new patch (3.24)? When selling your cargo on scrap yards, do you then have to unload the boxes afterwards to a freight elevator to get paid?

not insanely lucky. but decently. the point is it happens. its not to rare, and it doesn't have to be eggs to make money

Thx for opening my mind! I have never even considered scanning a reliant-the joke is on me! I have always thought of MRT’S just as “stepping stone” missions to get you to the “good stuff”. Has top-tier cargo always been present in MRT’s, or is this something new?

Been doing well with the entrenched MRT missions at the Hurston moon derelicts. Usually no ship opposition and you can just shoot the bounty and any other personnel with ship guns. Then land and collect their weapons and armor.
For any new players confused by this guy, MRT stands for Mr.T the wrestler
You don't need to mess with the map, if you click on it and it vanished, click the search bar, should be there, if not type it

I've been trying to do these same 7k MRTs in a Cutlass Black and have been getting wrecked. One was a Valkyrie, another Cutlass black, and some fighter.

There are days in which I do solely VHRT and find nothing, is not that common to find profitable cargo. New players be aware of this, this video is not as good as it seems. Bounties are fun though.

Damn i wish you made this during freefly. I wanted to do something like this but all my bounties were in atmo or on the ground and i swear it was night time 95% of the time, i rashed a lot lmao 😂 i didnt know going to crusader gave you more space battles over planet ones 😢 ill keep in this in mind and if the cargo hangar patch is good enough i may have to finally pledge😂
The bountys with ? Are ground bountys and some of them say it in the Mission Info

Here’s a question, did they nerf gimbal aim assist? Now when I use gimbal it’s like weird the movements are linked to my right stick. Is it just something in settings to fix?

So it's double rng dependent, rng for the right ships and more rng for the actual cargo. For someone like me with notorious bad luck this is a no-go.

yay mani got promoted to voice over and yes bounty are good but lag and dsync make it worst and infinity armor/shield glitches also not showing ship shields in hud so yea hope everything get fixed in new patch

This is hilarious. How do you only have 2 ships on an MRT? I have 5-6 on the VLRTs and LRTs. Ranging from fighters through reclaimers. And struggle getting those downed with a medium - heavy fighter.
Granted i am M&K, and sticks seems to make a huge difference with the new Master Modes.
Can I do this with a 315 P? Or is that two low of dps since it only has 2 size 3 guns?
you can do it with a 315p, just be careful you are a little squishy

I don't have one anymore, but I still love the Titan. It's been one of my top two starter ships for years. Now that the Revenant is a decent gun, it's great that the Titan is a great ship with its stock components. Bounties in the 325a and Avenger Titan are a great way to make some side cash.

its a keybinding, under vehicle weapons: Pip precision lines. you have to set it yourself
I need some help. I've done probably 20 MRTs now but all of them are on ground. Either have to kill an infantry guy or kill two ships that carry no cargo. Am I doing something wrong, or haven't unlocked the right MRTs yet or what?
make sure you are doing the MRT that is for 7k. and if you dont get the asteroid field you can bait all the ships into space before you kill them
Generally the space missions are about the same, 1-3 ships that carry no cargo, or maybe one that has something mildly interesting like minerals, but mostly trash. (Frequently *actual* trash, like scrap or waste.) Those are what you should expect to find on MRTs. Title of video would be more accurately, "Best way to play a slot machine in a starter ship".

I'm trying the deadbolt 4 cannon on the nose for the big damage and getting my arse kicked.
i just run all omniskys for the titan, HRTs start to get a little tough for the titan if you are still learning

Hmm. Literally every single MRT and LRT I've done has had 2-4 ships at once. Some are li terally impossible to solo. Really annoying.

Is the nomad bugged? I started a few days ago. I played during the free fly, and ended up getting the nomad package. During free fly, j could do missiles no problem on any ship. However, first few runs on nomad I couldn't get the missle hud to pop up by pushing middle mouse. What am I missing?
i can never get the bounty to happen in an asteroid field only ever down in a planets atmosphere and that's at crusader, my bounty rep is in the green for crusader to.
asteroid field bounty's are pretty common

@@daito7729 they are there, but an other tip is to have the ships that you are fighting in atmo follow you up in the air until you are in space then kill them there,

I cracked open a carrack and a starfarer that I softkilled yesterday, but they were empty. I didn't scan them first, do I need to scan to make the cargo appear? As odd as that is

The title of the video is misleading. The probability you find this kind of cargo in MRT is around 0,5%..
its a bit more than that. the point is its possible and you dont need eggs to make money. i have at least 3 videos on my channel of finding eggs in MRTs. one of c1 videos made 4mil from a cutty black.

@brandongriffin4819 yes only thr mrt for 7k is the ship combat. The new ui changed the name of some of the missions and its dumb. The mrt ground missions used to be ?rt

its random, but asteroid yela is one of the most common.

as an expert in this field: i made around 250 million before 3.23 like this with VHRTs and ERTs solo in my C2. almost every bounty had rediculous amounts of weevil eggs and maze. since this patch this has been nerfed by a lot, what actually makes sense and i find was the right move. most ships are empty now or just have small amounts illegal cargo, so i would make 200-300k if i get a bounty with that stuff. only one time i got an 890 jump with 20scu weevil eggs
i have not tried MRTs, but i doubt that the chance there would be higher, so this must have been luck i assume and the title and thumbnail are pure clickbait. you will NOT make 500k in 10minutes, you might make 500k after 2,3,4, or 5 hours. so please stop making misleading videos for clicks!
Kinda BS in my experience. I've done 10-15 of MRT's in those exact locations and found cargo once and it was iron and scrap. Soft death'd all of the targets with potential cargo.
This is NOT a viable way to make money starting out. And the contracts pay 5k to 7k.
