Every morning I pray before I start my day. As I prayed for my teenagers for mercy and for their forgiveness of sin and for salvation I thought of the two babies I miscarried twenty years ago and I prayed for them and that I could see them someday. This message was exactly what I’d needed to hear, Glory be to God 🙏🏻 thank you for this message.
Infant baptism is a dangerous idea, Christ had the the little children brought to him and said we should be like them, he didn't mean we should be small again but innocent again, he wouldn't want us to be like them if they were damned. Many people stop believing because they loose children and are told their children are lost. Sad.
Really Fun I don’t know if the Bible supports that position. Jesus did not say they were innocent. Jesus recognized children are inclined to show HUMILITY. (MATTHEW 18:4) Humility is one of the primary characteristics aspiring Christians need to adopt in order to make the necessary changes in their lives. Adults are less inclined to be humble. Most adults believe they know it all. They believe their experience has taught them what’s the right course of action. Adults, especially those that have been raised to worship one way, refuse to make changes when they discover their way of worship does not correspond with scripture and does not please God. So, Jesus was highlighting that we need to SHED those prideful tendencies and be willing to make changes, drastic if necessary, in order to worship God correctly. That takes HUMILITY.
So does this include the adult heavily autistic people that I care for daily? I don't think that they consciously sin... I sure hope that they are saved....

There are no scriptures to support your statement and the creator of this content is presuming babies go to heaven based on his doctrinal tenets. Jesus stated NO MAN has ascended into heaven but he that has descended, the Son of God. (John 3:13) Additionally, Jesus stated an individual must be BORN AGAIN to enter into the kingdom of God. (JOHN 3:3-8) A person cannot be born from water and spirit unless they repent from their sins, accept Jesus as their savior, and then get BAPTIZED. Jesus was baptized and all his disciples after was baptized because a slave cannot be greater than their master. (JOHN 13:16) Babies who have died are in the grave. They have not endured or served God to receive the ultimate free gift of heavenly salvation.
True for some persons . . . not true for all persons. Exodus 30 says that the rich and poor alike must pay a half shekel ransom on their soul. All those 20 years old and above. No ransom is required for persons under 20. Jesus paid the ransom by his blood on the cross. We no longer pay our own. He PAID it all. God has no requirement for payment under 20 years according to this scripture. Is God a Liar? Absolutely not. Absent from the body? Present with the Lord. Under 20? No ransom required. MsMatthew720 I know the verse well. Jesus said become LIKE little children. He did not say become little children. The word LIKE is used as a simile for comparison. Adults have the tendency to display very undesirable traits, like pride, presumptuous, rigidity, etc...Children, however, are malleable, often humble, they are eager to learn, therefore they are TEACHABLE. Reread the passage and see if Jesus says children will be going to heaven. I’m certain you will NOT read that.
Turn from your sins and become "like little children" is to become "innocent like little children". He is saying little children are innocent. The innocent need no ransom for their souls. Innocent is without out sin. God turns His back on sin . . . not innocence. Babies go to heaven.
Yes. We are born sinners. But sin is not accounted to you if you do not know that you sin. Babies ARE. Babies do not reason or decide to make 2AM hell of their parents. They are babies. John said Little Children are they who knew the Father, and Jesus also said the kingdom of Heaven is of little children. Because the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses the transgressions (NOT SINS) of all those how are become innocent (Meek, Humble, Charitable) The difference between a transgression and sin, is that one if found guilty for a transgression, while others hear the Father and obey his voice, are deemed to be under grace. Those who are not consciously objector come under the blood of Christ. Remember the remedy for sins is Baptism and Repentance.....not in claiming the blood of Christ. The translators did not differentiate between sin and transgression, because every sin is a transgression of the law. Under GOD not every transgression is a sin.
It's interesting how theology can be twisted and turned multiple ways. After watching this video I had to go back to Exodus 1 and reread what occurred in Egypt from a different perspective. Since Pharaoh killed countless babies, and if all went immediately to heaven, then couldn't Pharaoh's actions be twisted as acts of mercy? How many of these babies instead of being murdered would have grown up only to reject God and go to hell? Because of Pharaoh's crimes, 100% went to heaven. How nice! In fact, could it be that Pharaoh's evil actions brought more souls to Christ than the actions of most Christians? Guess my point here is that human rational thinking alone can be dangerous. Using the same logic, I suppose abortion could be twisted in exactly the same way.
Pharoah’s acts were those of rebellion. We are never granted absolution or excused for rebellion - especially willful rebellion unless we submit to the authority of The G0d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The only one who showed mercy in your example is G0D Himself. G0D condescends to show mercy. He doesn’t have to. He is SOVEREIGN and as such no one censors Him or tells Him how things shall or should be. Babies go to Heaven because of G0D’s GRACE because He is GOOD. Unfortunately for American’s, in particular, there’s no vote or consensus granted in His Kingdom. The ultimate ‘His Way or the highway’ situation. As for your comment about abortion, no. We are told that the G0D of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob HATES the shedding of innocent blood. So, if you shed the blood, you have sinned against the child and most importantly, against G0D, and will pay for your act of rebellion. I had this thought. Billions of people have been born to the human race but the image that is coming into view for me is that only a tiny portion of them will receive everlasting life with joy and peace. The rest are destined for eternity in Hell with unending suffering. Maybe it is similar for our corporeal life. I think far more babies are conceived than are actually born alive outside their mother's womb. Only a few of the conceived people get to experience life on this Earth. Most do not. I know that when we die we will all stand before Holy God and be held accountable for our choice about Jesus. Babies are incapable of making such a choice about Jesus and the Bible is so obviously lacking in an answer to what happens to them when they die. The silence of the Bible on this topic is so loud it's deafening! Maybe God just sends these people - babies, unborn babies, imbeciles and such - back into non-existence. I don't know. Maybe only a small portion of the people who are conceived get to actually exist. Just like only a small portion of those who get to live get to spend eternity in Heaven with God. I just don't know. The silence of the Bible on this subject is so very frustrating to me. I know what I've said here will be extremely uncomfortable for some to hear - I too have lost two children who were not born - but the Bible remains unclear on the subject.
THREE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS: 1) John 6:39,44,54; John 11:24 all show that Jesus will resurrect dead humans ON THE LAST DAY. Since we're not IN the last day, how can anyone who dies go to heaven INSTANTLY? 2) If Psalm 37:9,11,37; Matthew 5:5 and Revelation 21:3,4 all show that righteous MANKIND will inherit the EARTH and live FOREVER upon it, who EXACTLY is supposed to be going to heaven? 3) Since Jesus said at John 3:13 that NO ONE had ever gone to heaven, and the apostle Peter - at Acts 2:34 - SPECIFICALLY stated that not even KING DAVID had gone to heaven, why should I believe that I'm better than Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and King David, and that I'M going to heaven? Virtually ALL religions teach that their followers will become SUPER-HUMAN spirit beings when they die. Hebrews 12:22-24 clearly states who's in heaven right now and Paul says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and we know He currently sites at the right hand of God.

The age of accountability is 13 in Hebrew law. Being unaccountable is sinless and unable to choice between the world and heaven. A just GOD will not hold a infant accountable.

I also implore you to Read the entire chapter of Ezekiel 18, God makes it super clear that the notion of inherited/original sin is a false doctrine and should not be taught among his people. Ezekiel 18:1-5 The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: “‘The parents eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’? “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. So if we aren’t born with sin how do we get it, because the Bible teaches all have sinned and fall short (Rom 3:23). James answers that. A baby has no understanding of good vs evil (so it can’t be enticed by evil desires and lusts) nor can it communicate/comprehend the gospel (therefore the act of “hearing” the gospel and “repenting” is impossible). This is also why baby baptism is a false teaching. Without the repentance, belief, and confession aspects (none of which a baby can do) baptism is nothing more than a fancy bath. Furthermore Jesus talks in Luke 14 about considering the cost of discipleship. Again, something a baby or little children isn’t capable of doing. And In Matthew 18, Jesus commands us to become like little children (again referring to their innocence). We also know from 1 Corinthians 10:13 that God won’t allow us to be tempted beyond what we can endure and he always provides a way of escape from evil situations. Babies and little children can’t endure anything nor can they flee sinful situations. So yes, infants and small children are absolutely an exception and to suggest otherwise shows a complete lack of scriptural understanding.

I very much disagree with Pastor John, we are not born sinners, we are sinners when we sin. That is why babies go to heaven because they are not accountable for sin nor are they capable. God does not say we are born sinners, the Bible says sin entered the world through one mans disobedience but we were made sinners because all have sinned. Read Romans 4 5 and 6.
Genesis 5:3 makes it clear that all men are born sinners because Seth was made in the image of "fallen" Adam, not in the image of the Perfect Father like Adam was. And therefore every man since Seth has been procreated into that same image. It's not until we're Born Again that we return to the image of God.

Turn from your sins and become "like little children" is to become "innocent like little children". He is saying little children are innocent. The innocent need no ransom for their souls. Innocent is without out sin. God turns His back on sin . . . not innocence. Babies go to heaven.

Yes. We are born sinners. But sin is not accounted to you if you do not know that you sin. Babies ARE. Babies do not reason or decide to make 2AM hell of their parents. They are babies. They just want what they want when they want it. They are not plotting to fill their diaper with poop. Babies are elemental humanity with potential.

If what had been preached in Capernaum was preached in Sodom and Gomorrah, they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes. They were not elect. Matthew 13, for it is not for them lest at anytime they should see...and I should heal them. Not elect. For many will say, "Lord, Lord...not elect. No one deserves to be His elect. There is none that seeketh after God. But, Romans 9, He is the potter. He has the right to make vessels fitted unto destruction from the same lump of clay that He makes His vessels of mercy. His elect. He is God. His creation. His will. His sovereign grace and mercy and love given to His elect, the Bride of Christ. No one knows who they are but He who calls and elects from every nation. His people whom He chose from the foundations of the world. Christ died for the elect. All that the Father giveth to Him. We did not choose Him, but were chosen by God and given to His Son. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly! By the foolishness of preaching we are saved. The dead cannot be preached to. Infants cannot be preached to and understand. If they are elect, they will grow up to hear the voice of the Lord, like Samuel. Like John the Baptist, like Moses, like David, like Paul, etc. We are born lost sinners, children of the devil as others. If we were born innocent and good and automatically went to heaven, infanticide wouldn't be evil. It would be a guarantee everyone would go to heaven. And we know that is unbiblical. All the most evil, wicked people were babies at one time. When even our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, and the fact that there is none good, the only thing that separates the elect from those not elect is the pardon. Tho we may not sin against each other in the same manner, we have ALL equally sinned against a Holy and perfect God. If we transgress one, we are guilty of transgressing all! Babies are only innocent in a human capacity, but not as being of sinful flesh, in sin did my mother conceive me...
Korah, Dathan and Abiram went down alive into the pit, their wives, children ( babies) and ALL that pertaineth unto them. The she bears tore the little children to bits who mocked God's prophet. The flood destroyed ALL flesh, babies and children included due to wickedness. Innocence is unbiblical. Christ was the only innocent person ever, in God's eye's! Those who are not consciously objector come under the blood of Christ. Remember the remedy for sins is Baptism and Repentance.....not in claiming the blood of Christ. The translators did not differentiate between sin and transgression, because every sin is a transgression of the law. Under GOD not every transgression is a sin.
It's interesting how theology can be twisted and turned multiple ways. After watching this video I had to go back to Exodus 1 and reread what occurred in Egypt from a different perspective. Since Pharaoh killed countless babies, and if all went immediately to heaven, then couldn't Pharaoh's actions be twisted as acts of mercy? How many of these babies instead of being murdered would have grown up only to reject God and go to hell? Because of Pharaoh's crimes, 100% went to heaven. How nice! In fact, could it be that Pharaoh's evil actions brought more souls to Christ than the actions of most Christians? Guess my point here is that human rational thinking alone can be dangerous. Using the same logic, I suppose abortion could be twisted in exactly the same way.
Pharoah’s acts were those of rebellion. We are never granted absolution or excused for rebellion - especially willful rebellion unless we submit to the authority of The G0d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The only one who showed mercy in your example is G0D Himself. G0D condescends to show mercy. He doesn’t have to. He is SOVEREIGN and as such no one censors Him or tells Him how things shall or should be. Babies go to Heaven because of G0D’s GRACE because He is GOOD.
Unfortunately for American’s, in particular, there’s no vote or consensus granted in His Kingdom. The ultimate ‘His Way or the highway’ situation.
As for your comment about abortion, no. We are told that the G0D of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob HATES the shedding of innocent blood. So, if you shed the blood, you have sinned against the child and most importantly, against G0D, and will pay for your act of rebellion.

I had this thought.
Billions of people have been born to the human race but the image that is coming into view for me is that only a tiny portion of them will receive everlasting life with joy and peace. The rest are destined for eternity in Hell with unending suffering.
Maybe it is similar for our corporeal life. I think far more babies are conceived than are actually born alive outside their mother's womb. Only a few of the conceived people get to experience life on this Earth. Most do not.
I know that when we die we will all stand before Holy God and be held accountable for our choice about Jesus. Babies are incapable of making such a choice about Jesus and the Bible is so obviously lacking in an answer to what happens to them when they die. The silence of the Bible on this topic is so loud it's deafening!
Maybe God just sends these people - babies, unborn babies, imbeciles and such - back into non-existence. I don't know. Maybe only a small portion of the people who are conceived get to actually exist. Just like only a small portion of those who get to live get to spend eternity in Heaven with God. I just don't know.

3) Since Jesus said at John 3:13 that NO ONE had ever gone to heaven, and the apostle Peter - at Acts 2:34 - SPECIFICALLY stated that not even KING DAVID had gone to heaven, why should I believe that I'm better than Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and King David, and that I'M going to heaven?
Virtually ALL religions teach that their followers will become SUPER-HUMAN spirit beings when they die. Bible teachings have been skewed so much and for so long, that people accept religions' myths as truth.

Hebrews 12:22-24 clearly states who's in heaven right now and Paul says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and we know He currently sites at the right hand of God.

The age of accountability is 13 in Hebrew law. Being unaccountable is sinless and unable to choice between the world and heaven. A just GOD will not hold a infant accountable.

Ok so putting all that together. You aren’t born with sin but we live in a sin filled world. We all sooner or later fall into sin because of our evil desires and lusts. We know that to be saved from our sins we must FIRST repent and to repent you must first HEAR the gospel.
The act of repenting requires a contrite heart. A baby has no understanding of good vs evil (so it can’t be enticed by evil desires and lusts) nor can it communicate/comprehend the gospel (therefore the act of “hearing” the gospel and “repenting” is impossible).
This is also why baby baptism is a false teaching. Without the repentance, belief, and confession aspects (none of which a baby can do) baptism is nothing more than a fancy bath.
Furthermore Jesus talks in Luke 14 about considering the cost of discipleship. Again, something a baby or little children isn’t capable of doing.
And In Matthew 18, Jesus commands us to become like little children (again referring to their innocence).
We also know from 1 Corinthians 10:13 that God won’t allow us to be tempted beyond what we can endure and he always provides a way of escape from evil situations. Babies and little children can’t endure anything nor can they flee sinful situations.
So yes, infants and small children are absolutely an exception and to suggest otherwise shows a complete lack of scriptural understanding.

I very much disagree with Pastor John, we are not born sinners, we are sinners when we sin. That is why babies go to heaven because they are not accountable for sin nor are they capable. God does not say we are born sinners, the Bible says sin entered the world through one mans disobedience but we were made sinners because all have sinned. Read Romans 4 5 and 6.
Genesis 5:3 makes it clear that all men are born sinners because Seth was made in the image of "fallen" Adam, not in the image of the Perfect Father like Adam was. And therefore every man since Seth has been procreated into that same image. It's not until we're Born Again that we return to the image of God.
