Small and medium customers usually don't see a necessity to pay 890 € per year for such a small benefit. There are free ways to find out what competitors (try to) rank for. A page that is supposed to rank well should be either a part of the menu or linked on the home page. Look at the h1 and titles of these pages and you know what they try to rank for.
I have a newbie question; If, for example, I search for "Bagel near me" I get cafeterias marked as "bagel on the menu" but when I enter their profile I don't see Bagel as a keyword or they dont have a menu. I have the menu in the google business profile and it never shows it when searching for it. thanks a lot!
Thank you for your expert info. Where in the local listing can keywords be included? Would adding keywords in the description in the listing be helpful? Thank you.
Hi Nabeel. The answer is No. The only area that will influence rankings where you can add keywords is your business name, however it's against Google's guidelines
As usual great content full of details! Tks. One quick question -- Once those keywords for Google Maps are discovered, then you try to use those keywords on the Google Business Profile in the descriptions? In other words, finding the missing keywords is 1/2 of the equation. Will it be possible to do a second video and show what to do with those keywords and how best to utilize them so that your list do reach the coveted 3-pack position on Google Map? Tks.
@@rankingacademy would it pay to use the services and create products from those service names? Then I could create a web page or content that refers back to those services and products.
@@rankingacademy but how about a Google My Business profile? Can i use my biz email too to set it up? Cause the other day i was going thru the set up and it asked me for my gmail email, and i dont want to use a gmail email for my GMB, i want to use my biz email. To clarify, im not talking about creating or setting up a NEW GOOGLE ACCOUNT from scratch. Im just talking about creating a Google Business Profile aka GMB Thanks for replying so quick!
@@MilenaKoncar you can’t set up a google business profile without a google account but you can create a google account without using a gmail address but a biz address instead. Hope it makes sense
@@rankingacademy ok yes, it does. I understand. Thanks u! Now i do have a google account for the past 15 years maybe, but i prefer not to mix my existing google acct that i use for personal things, with my biz. Can i create a new google acct from scratch with my biz email and have this new acct just for my biz? What do u suggest? I love your channel btw. You are my fave when it comes to this. You are very good at it 💯
It's a great tool, but for some small agencies and professionals, Ahrefs is expensive. I wish there was another way to buy a plan and share. Thanks for the video. Great content as always.
Redundancy is more important than you think, and part of marketing is finding new people. UA-cam shows you new content, so you must repurpose. He's programming people. That's life.
Dear Luc. Do you have a video on how to grow youtube subscribers? If not, could you give me some sound advice please. I am stuck at 600 and desperately want to get to 1k in order to become eligible. Much appreciated.🙏
@@mr.c.2888 i get it. The whole point of the video is to show you can find out what keywords your competitors rank for. While i appreciate ahrefs is not for a single business owner, a lot of the audience on my channel is also SEO professionals who may not know this is possible

I agree. Having said that many people watching this channel are also SEO professionals who will be willing to tool up with something like ahrefs
I'm using semrush what is the alternative way to do it there, Thanks Sensei :)
Just a question how should i use the keywords in my main service pages or in the blog as i just started with blog side would appreciate your reply
Make sure it's include in your Meta title and main header and sprinkled carefully in the rest of the content. Don't overdo it.
Thanks will apply this about the near me and location based keyword i can use them in description and service pages ?@@rankingacademy

Have you checked their google posts and their website? the information is likely coming from there
@@rankingacademy They do not have a website or there are no results related to "bagel" in google. that's why i don't get it :(
I had exactly the same answer. Also reviewers leave comments and those keywords also count.

Love this! So once I find the keywords to focus on using AHREFS, what do I do then? Thanks for your help!
Create relevant content on your site
I am using Semrush. Can I use these same features in SEMRUSH?
I believe SEM rush has a similar feature
Yes, it's called Keyword-Gap

Your description doesn't have any impact on rankings. Use the keywords you have found as a basis to create content on your website.

You can set up a google account using your biz email address

Google KEyword Planner is the free version of this
It doesn't tell you what keywords your competitors rank for on Google Maps
@@rankingacademy That is true but the cost of AHREFS is too high (granted it is the goat) but Google is free.
