    Thank you so much , it’s the texture for me that I had a problem with my friends hair was straighter than your clients in the video. With me not being a stylist I was so lost at how yo accomplish good box braids for him since I’m used to doing 4c type hair

    Lol my son always falls asleep when i box braid his hair too. I need to try that jam for hold. I usually use grease.

    My question is about your blow dryer. Do you use the comb attachment that came with it or did you purchase a separate one? I see alot of reviews on Amazon say the teeth bend during use.

      I use the one that came with it. However the teeth do bend over time, but I will continue to use it until I get a new one lol

    Thanks for this video! And thank you for also linking the products you used. Could you share at what stages you use the sculpting foam and growth oil spray? Is the shine n jam for the parts only and the sculpting foam for the braids?

      Most welcome and sure the spray and foam are at the end of the style. I use the jam for parting and a little at the base of the braids. The foam is at the very end once the style is complete.

      Gel is used at the beginning and mousse is used at the end.

    i have type 3a/3b hair and i want box braids but my fringe is slightly longer than the sides and back. i want my box braids to be slightly longer on the back of my head as i see most box braids usually are shorter at the front than the back. should i get my fringe/front of my hair trimmed to be slightly shorter than the back to get this style?
    any replies will be hugely appreciated

      I think you should try to get braided as is. This way you can see how it looks first prior to cutting it.

      My bfs hair is a little bit more textured and I don’t put nothing in the end just wrap it around my finger a bit to make a curl and it stays well for 2 weeks before I take it out
