Awesome stuff! Tip, go to "Menu" > "Preferences" > "Hardware" > Scroll down to "Flash Tap Tempo Light" and uncheck. No more blinking Tap Tempo button. ;-)
Man, watching this makes me miss the MPC One I sold. I just picked up the Digitakt 2 and have been having fun with it, but the MPC workflow has a special place in my heart.
@@sebfossa5123 Maybe some regrets. That being said I don’t regret buying the Digitakt 2. It’s a very different workflow than I am used to, which makes it exciting. My one real issue with the MPC was that it’s kinda a daw in a box, but not as flexible as a daw. So why not just use a daw. Still a super fun device.
And about digitakt2, simple and fast to create a track that sound good? And to play live ? I love MpC live but I think not very intuitive for live with tracks management and Qlink
@@davingerber I like that the MPC is less flexible than a DAW because it means I only bother fixing problems I can actually *_hear_* but in a DAW I fix "problems" I think I see and that's even more harmful than quantization.
Really nice mate. Thank you for taking the time to explain. Can you confirm which sample packs, expansion packs and plugin you've used. I caught Jura. Any other plug in s you'd recommend for techno and house?
Thanks! I didn't use expansion packs for samples, mostly just sounds I got on Splice Sounds by searching stuff like techno percussion, kick rumble, etc. Jura is great for this kind of stuff, and I've gotten some nice ambient stuff from the FM synth plugin. Don't sleep on Hype for leads and basses though!
Can someone plz help me out with this 1 ? There is this synth sound i want to use but dont know what it is and if i can make it with my MPC one + ( have a bunch of synth plugins) or with my Mininova. You can hear the sound if you look up on youtube : hellraiser 2 cd1 , its on the 5.30 minute and 8.10 minute mark. I hoghly appriciate it. If its not possible on what i have , what will be the cheapest way ,standalone , so not on the computer
Thanks! In terms of sound, they're the same. In terms of workflow, I would have had a bit of an easier time making the different song sections on the Force, and I probably will end up exporting this project to the Force for a full arrangement. But I like how the MPC feels more compact and focused, so I usually reach for it for coming up with stuff.
GABE! LOVING the hair color bro! Hey here's a noob question: can I bounce multiple samples into one (on the MPC one+) like bouncing tracks 1-2-3 onto track 4 on a 4track tape machine, a la George Martin stylez? Thanks man! PS why aren't you using a ONE+ ?
Thanks! And yes, you can either just render an audio file and then import it, or resample stuff. I usually go for resampling since it's quicker. There's no tape machine like functionality, but you can go ham resampling and layering. I'm not using the One+ because I already had the original One, and I don't really need or care about the new features in the +.

(theofficememe.gif) THANK YOU!!!
dear gods, you are bringing my faith back to my MPC again! Appreciated :D
What the....who is this guy. I kust stumbled on to his MPC 3 video. Intrigued I checked more. Absolutely outstanding. Your track rocks man!
I like these MPC #composition breakdowns!
Explanation, super helpful. The track, bangs hard. Well done!
Brilliant
I love every bit of this
Solid track mang.

Hi
I’m reluctant to sell my mpc live2 for a digitakt2.
So no regrets ? You love it? What about workflow?

I'll have to try this on the SP 404. Although, mine won't be as complex as this.
Similar idea! The 404 would work great for that setup
GOOD Stuff
This slams!🤘😎👍

pls consider the akai MPC Key 37 and make some very easy to understand dummies guide vids on it ; )
The goofy Jura patch and bassline at is almost the same as Eminem - Without me :))
Where can I buy the most brutal samples to play heavy dubstep and hardtechno?
Nice one! Did you layer your kick as it sounds really fat? Great!
Thanks! I used the sample by itself, and soft clipped it a bit.

You could challenge any dj with just a couple of circuits or an mpc.
Nice. How do you find the MPC-One compares to the Force for making this kinda stuff?
