hi cozy friends 💗 I hope you enjoy some time unraveling with me and are prioritizing time spent with your knitting or other selfcare this year. I can’t wait to hear what you are working on while watching!🫶
I absolutely love the colour combo for your Norma sweater! I definitely suits the lighter background more than the Lumme. You shouldn’t feel bad for not finishing a project - at the end of the day, you’re the one putting the work and the money into it and you want to be able to enjoy the finished project! You don’t owe your audience that, we’re just happy to be taken along your whole creative process!
I'm currently trying to finish my Salty Days Sweater. I have been working on it like crazy because I want to wear ita few times before it gets to warm. I started Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros and I'm loving it so far
You have an incredible selection of wip’s. Funny, I think I usually do want to cast on a lot of things in January but this year, I didn’t cast on a single thing in January. After watching so many ‘what I knit in 2024’ podcasts, I decided I need to knit with a purpose and not knit for the sake of knitting. So, I couldn’t decide on what to be knit, so nothing was started. Instead, I’ve worked on a cross stitch throw that was started in 2001 and sat, untouched for years. My goal is to complete it this year. I’m making great progress but I know once I start knitting, I won’t be so enthused about it. I need two hours a day on this throw to finish it by end of the year. Love all your projects. Fully understand frogging the colorwork sweater. Sometimes it is hard to know what colors will knit up like until we attempt them. It’s too bad you had knit so much on it but you do have to be happy with it. No point finishing and not wearing it. Love the replacement sweater to make use of the yarn. Knit away.
I enjoy my time spent knitting so it isn’t time wasted at all! I hope you enjoy your crafting time and don’t put too much pressure on yourself on the purpose. so good to be intentional with what we make but sometimes our purpose is just to enjoy the craft 💛
I crocheted my son a star blanket when I was pregnant…but it took me way more than 6 days so kudos to you 😂 quite a fun project though!! but YES you can do it!! I crocheted before knitting and taught myself both just from watching copious amounts of youtube tutorials!
Feels same as you, here too is summer!!! Love to cast on lots of projects and can match it with mood of day, some times just want something mindless and sometimes something challenging!!
I love that I was the first one to know about your Norma sweater hihi 🤭 all of your WIPs are so so gorgeous and you seem so excited to knit each of them! Yeah the book was a bit disappointing, but I loved reading it alongside you so much that I can't hate it that much tbh 😂 ❤
I would read any 3 star book with you because we had so much fun 😂💗 so glad I could share my secret lil WIP with you! loving my current WIP rotation hehe
Working on my Copenhagen cardigan but currently have a Ginger Sweater, a sock tube and Grid Gambit cowl on the needles as active wips for now. I am travelling to the Gold Coast for work next week and I'm bring all of these projects with me 😂
Working on my braidy loop sweater and I currently also have 3 other Wips, all starting this year. After watching ur video, I’m now considering casting on the Jenny Jacket v neck and the book club cardigan. These two cardigans look amazing in your video❤
Hi Morgan, loving your videos. I am in Victoria near Bendigo. So excited for you to visit. You'll have to visit Bendigo pottery too and if you have time Castlemaine and Kyneton have some treasures too!
omg taking notes!!! 📝 what treasures do we need to see?? we will be along the Great Ocean road for the longest but will definitely have time for pit stops on the way to stretch our legs :)
I am almost finished Sweater No. 23 from My Favourite Things Knitwear. Loving the pattern! I am going to knit sweater no. 9 next. Both your sweaters are going to be beautiful 💖
So many gorgeous and inspiring projects! I want to knit the Dagmar zip up so so so much and join in with the KAL, but I've only just started knitting in January and feel it might be a *little* ambitious to cast it on 😂 But I can't wait to follow along on everyone else's journey !
thank you!! no worries, I hope to plan a more beginner friendly KAL so hopefully you can join the next :) and just remember there’s *nothing* you can’t learn - we’re all learning as we go!! 😚
Your Caramel sweater is everything I have been dreaming of recently: a high turtleneck, mustard colour, raglan 2x2 pullover. I’m anxious to see how it turns out for you and hopefully I cast on mine soon enough too 😅
Loved the episode, especially the colours for your Norma sweater. I'm also based in Australia (Sydney) and get yarn from Spotlight occasionally. Are you planning on going to the yarnshow in March?
thank you!! there’s definitely some great budget friendly yarns at spotlight - I just wish this yarn had less acrylic because it’s not my favorite fiber in garments for the way it holds up & pills! Yes I hope to go to the Australia yarn show here in Canberra, I need to get my tix!
The norma Sweater 😍 I haven't knit this one yet but it is on my knitting plan for 2025 ! My favorite thing knitwear is one of my favorite designer. Her designs looks so professional 💖 I am currently knitting the sweater no.29. My first sweater and the first time I am doing cables hehe
I am enjoying following her pattern so far and looking forward to knitting more from her - the sweater no29 is on my knitting wishlist too 😍 WOW what an exciting project for your first sweater!! you got this! 🥰
Thanks for another amazing podcast 😊 I was working on Key sweater (for my sister) by Petiteknit as I watched. I actually want to make Norma sweater in the pretty much the same color chceme as you. The only reason I haven't started that one yet is because I don't really like to wear raglan sweaters, but there is now drop shoulder version so I'm really tempted 😅
thank you!! I usually prefer drop shoulders as well but for the normal design opted for the deep raglan! I have my eye on the Key sweater too 😍 quite similar design styles with such lovely & unique features!
Hello Morgan, I reaaalllly love your content and I'm sending you virtual hugs ❤ I'm also knitting right now Jenny Jacket V-neck in size L, but in a brown colour 😊
i adore the color choices for your norma sweater, it reminds me of fudge, looks super caramel-y and sweet. wish the sound would bebetter, it keeps peaking which is sadly very unpleasant, had to turn on subtitles and mute the audio sadly :c

good luck finishing it! on the bright side, the salty days is the perfect sweater to wear through spring because it’s quite breezy!!🤍

This makes me want to try my hand at knitting again - it's been so long 😅 I was working on crocheting a 6 Day Star Blanket while watching 🥰

thank you soso much 🤍 hope you are enjoying knitting on the jenny!
Love to watch 😊 Sound could be improved I future maybe
You should try spit splicing your mohair, less ends to weave in 😊
I didn’t know mohair could be spliced! I will give it a try next time 🤍
