I think this review is by far the best for any indian bike channel. May be the presenter can even add more technical details like what is difference in geometry between a ktm duke /rc 25 and this combo. I think he is the only youtuber capable of explaining such interesting motorcycle dynamic/steering concepts to an everyday rider. Thanks. Hope to see your next videos of interesting motorcycles with more technical infos.
another awesome review. ..curious why Bajaj put so much of price gap with duke .. also the video light was too dark this time..couldn't see any color really clearly, lot of dark spots
Thanks Saurabh. Yes, we picked a difficult day to shoot. Very hard light and therefore the dark shots. But we will be more careful going ahead.

Bought the Svartpilen last week
Ground clearance isn't that major of an issue since only very tall speed breakers (mostly found in rural areas) scrape the bottom
There are however a lot of vibrations on the footpegs which make my legs feel like jelly after continuous riding
It does decently off-road
If you want a fun motorcycle for riding around the city then you should go for this
If you want something for longer rides choose something else
Bro im thinking of buying the Svartpilen. Would it be a good investment ? I don't want to regret.🎉My main purpose is office commute, weekend rides and maybe occasional tours but not very long tours. So many reviews say its vibey. And i am 5 feet 9 inch and healthy built body (not fat though) so would it suit me ? I don't want to look funnily big on a small bike.Please suggest.
Really liked the review. Everyone praises KTM (no doubt it's a great feature rich bike), very few people talk about drawback like vibration and refinement issues.

Your not even talking about the Husqis biggest shortcomings.. 145mm ground clearance and 9.5ltrs fuel tank!!.. That half baked pillion seat and narrow tall seats.. The bike is very impractical overall.. I can hear thesd bikes have the roughest version of the KTM250 engines moreover!
These are vibey yes. And yes the ground clearance is lower . But we didn’t face any issues with the ground clearance really. At least not when riding solo. Two up its a different story, of course. But point taken, we could have included these points. Having said that, we have spoke about the FE, the fuel tank, and the range per tank fill of the bike...

Short distances, yes. Anything over 30 mins, not so much.

I don't agree with the title - cheaper option of Duke
It's a far more premium than Duke , whether in looks or quality .
The title was indicative of the difference in pricing of the two bike.

I would buy the Svartpilen. Nicer to look at and as much fun!
did not care about the lack of practicality....I was so inclined on buying the Svartpilen...but it has quality issues, mainly in the fit and finish and the overall built quality, the plastic panels have gap and a fair bit of play....there are squeaks here and there...and after riding the 250 Duke the quality issues were even more apparent...the Duke is built like a tank, stronger and thicker plastic panels, better tolerances and no suck squeaks....a metal tank, I feel it even has a stiffer frame although the construction might be the same...better quality mirrors and front fenders ...maybe that's what justifies it's 20K premium over the Husky...after multiple back and forth test rides and being a pain in the butt for the sales executive for the showroom here in kolkata....I settled for the Duke....
