      @@25649sanchez That's a good point. But the judge doesn't have a personal history with a defendant, only a professional, legal history, which there has been no claim or evidence of any kind of bias against the defendant. Just because she is ruled against him before doesn't mean that she has the potential to be improper. But judges are still people, and if the first case didn't go well for him, the second case might not go as well either. But this case is pretty cut and dry.

    No real dilemma here. The lawyer dropped the ball for whatever reason. But for the plaintiff to say that he was dying is a bit of a dramatic stretch. I can see why the lawyer wouldn't want to work with him, but that doesn't excuse him from either writing an easy letter or just giving him his money back. I would imagine the problem is that the lawyer didn't have any money to get back. How does your office stay in storage for months? It's because you don't pay your bill. That's how movers collect their money. They hold your stuff until you pay them to deliver it.

First, he equates it with the kind of stuff fat housewives sit around and watch all day (I am neither and I’d say the majority of commenters on this video are - often you don’t need to even visually watch it, it’s just background noise while you do things) and secondly because people have come forward and admitted they defrauded the PC, they’re really friends and they split the money after, which I absolutely agree with, same with all the judge shows. However I believe there are truly real cases but lol this guy might just be an actor people know to seek out to willingly be a defendant and not give an F about how he’s portrayed because it’s a payday for him as well.
      ETA the vast majority of people that watch this are NOT* fat housewives, he’s clearly got some trauma from his mama who used to do this (she’s not even fat, it’s just an unflattering characteristic to add to his ideas)

    It's unfortunate that with all this new technology it's hard for folks to communicate these days. Seems like it worst nowadays given all the new MEDIUM readily available than before when we didn't have it as depicted in this case. Take me back to the 70's 80's and 90's to a simpler time where people communicated better.

      Fully agreed. The judge has said, and I agree with this as well, people read text messages in the tone that they want to read them in, not the tone that we send them in. We think we are in more communication with the world now, but in actuality we are way more inside of our own heads than we are out in the world with everybody else.

      Oh please. Stop romanticizing the years gone past. The world was just as bad then as it is now. Social media has just put all the bad deeds out in the open NOW, which is a good thing. People still communicate how they want to communicate. Technology has not put a stop to the old fashioned ways. If I want to go to my friends or relatives houses and talk to them face to face, that is what I do. If I want to video call them, that is what I do. If I want to text them that is what I do. We just have more options now, but you still have a choice in how you choose to interact with people.

    • @JeremiahLOsborne
      @JeremiahLOsborne 2 роки тому +4

      @@Childfree334 It's not about romanticizing the past. When people want to communicate back then, you had to actually reach out to that person. You couldn't just post a picture on social media, assume they were going to see it, and then feel justified in your anger when they don't respond to you. Social media has made people feel entitled to be seen. It didn't used to be like that. People didn't try their hardest to stand out from the crowd, in order to gain clout on social media. Did you ever notice how at least 90% of your friends lives on social media look absolutely perfect? They never have any problems. Everything is just peaches and cream until it isn't. It's fake. Social media encourages people to be fake. And all of these wonderful options of communicating only enable people to be more distant from one another. Sorry, I never got your text. Sorry I don't check Instagram. Sorry that voicemail box is full and can't accept messages. Do you see how now there's an excuse for people to avoid one another? You never heard of people being ghosted 20 years ago. And now, it's commonplace.
