I think if children are going to have phones - which are extremely important in this day and age - they need to be held accountable for its protection; they surely aren't cheap to have to replace, even with insurance.
That mom's sass face says it all the whole time
I'm sorry, but this case was absolutely ridiculous. What is she paying the insurance for if she's not going to use it number one number two if her daughter would have put the ten dollar phone case on the phone, they wouldn't be in the courtroom.
Kids shouldn't have cell - let alone iPhones
The defendant has a nasty attitude and so does her daughter. She has a slick mouth and she was smirking the whole time. 🙄
It’s about $100 to replace the glass (I know cause I’ve had this done on a few phones, but the phones still worked unless it was dropped & damaged further??
come on folks, this is an 11 year old kid, kids get rowdy and accidents happen...pay for it yes, but the kid doesn't need to be crucified or sent to rikers
Agreed! The comments are killing me
Agreed! People are so easily attributing criminality to a child just cos she’s smiling. Some people smile when they’re nervous. I’m old and I know I’d be smiling and fidgeting in that situation - they’re being filmed and imagine how bright the lights are
It should've had a screen protector period smh. She should had went through her insurance company. The defendants very immature
Dang the baby has debt before she's grown lol
So the brat is getting away with things. No consequences for her actions
Plantiff is wrong about refurbished phones. They work just as good as new ones.
No Mom teach your daughter to ask first!!
If they put a tempered glass on the phone straight away, the cracking wouldnt have spread. 😅
