So how y'all like this episode?
It's probably going to be my last one of my Season 1 (GoPro is down). I'll be back in a couple of weeks.
My 1 year anniversary is on July 1st with the channel, so I hope this one was a great season finale!😎

Some constrictive criticism... Fish that small don't need bogas riped through their lips it don't close up. Just thumb him like a bass or go up under the gill. Tight lines 🎣

Yes bro I recommend for you to bleed them out like 20-30min before u plan to leave cut the vein under their mouth that connects the gills together and leave them in the water on a stringer so the can keep swimming and pumping that blood out and you’ll have less of a blood line and fish won’t taste to fishy Great video 🔥🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽🤙🏾🤙🏾

Man the best time out there for that first spot is right after a hurricane or tropical storm. They shut the gate and the reds just pile up there. Also dont worry bout a net. Just walk to the left and start bringing it in to shore

Fun fact: behind the gills that is on the head, there is a soft spot that red drum have that you can put your finger in and bleed them out that way. Also, underneath the mouth is some good meat as well.

Ok use a fillet knife to score the skin and the meat across the top fan and split the meat and then use the fillet knife to go under the front fin down to and across the backbone all the way down to the tail but not all the way through the tail flip the meat over and fillet it right out of the skin. Flip and do the other side.

I know this video is old but if you take your finger right behind their side fin and shove your finger through their skin you can feel a ball in there, just poked it with your finger and pop it and they will bleed out. The skin is real soft right there your finger will go right through.

I also woke up at 4 o’clock in the morning and went to the lake only to discover that the boat ramp was closed. (due to high water) So I went to another lake and paid $10 to put a kayak in the water. But all I caught was below limit Sandbass all Day. Haven’t eaten even as I write you this note. So I think I’ll go have some nachos somewhere. Since I didn’t catch fish to make sandbass sandwiches.

That's tough! You had to pay to launch a kayak? Could you just walk and launch from the bank?

We’re not as lucky as you are with all that shoreline. Here in the Dallas Fort Worth area most of the shoreline is private land and the public parks and boat ramps are pay by use only. To get a yearly pass to that boat ramp for a non-resident of that city park is $100 a year. The city that I live in has their own private park and Boat Ramp and because I’m a resident it only cost me $45 a year. Unfortunately that one was close today. I have a Texas state park pass that I can use at the Texas Parks and wildlife maintain boat ramps for $75 a year. But if the boat ramp is maintained by the corpse of engineers then that’s a total different permit. Oh well it’s the price of having fun.

Caught me first red and flounder in that same spot(2nd location) just on the opposite side of that water. Haven’t fished there since they put the no parking signs up.

You can park there again. There's a couple of sections of road way that says parking allowed.
