The Classified Collection is only a myth in my area. I've only seen empty pegs at my local Target. No. Wait. That's a lie. I have seen the Snake Eyes Baroness there. She looks like Iola from Mama's Family.
I love this figure too. My biggest want are fists, pointing finger, and screaming alternate portrait. Heating Joes is always a good idea. I loved this toy as a kid. This new one is fantastic.
P.s. As collectors, our constructive voices also cannot be hardly heard through the noise of corporate Avarice that cannot be reached but I’m Thankful for the consistency of creations.
I was able to preorder Serpentor and his flying chariot, love how this set looks its just fantastic looking. The storm shadow body was just a comic book story plot. Hasbro has been doing a great job with the Gi Joe classified line just wish they improve in distribution because they are hard to buy
I think the Air Chariot is the star of the show but Serpentor does look great!cobra ears aren't big enough. They could've added a clear stand for the Air Chariot.

Yeah, the Storm Shadow thing is only from the comics since he was originally suppose to be a super soldier for COBRA, like their version of Capt America. In the show he was designed to replace Cobra Commander, still made up of the same DNA just sans the Storm Shadow part.
Serpentor is a very easy pass for me, but seeing everyone so excited about it is heartwarming! Hopefully the Classified line keeps going strong and you do more reviews for them.

I became interested in Classified because of the cool girl designs like Jaye, Zaranna, and Cover Girl. In general, I find the dudes incredibly bland. Serpentor, both in lore and as a character design, is one I find especially lame on a personal level. So, $90 for a guy I don't think is cool in the first place? Very easy pass for me. HOWEVER, I know how aggressively mad the GI Joe fanbase has gotten at the Classified line over the years, so that anyone is actually happy for Serpentor instead of bitching about the price or the design? That's a good thing.
Storm shadow body for serpentor.?? In the cartoon slaughter destroys the final DNA (benders experiment required 7) but he was captured as result, so Mindbender used his DNA to create serpentor . But slaughter still woops his ass
I'm not so satisfied with this Serpentor figure. The retractable short claw, gun barrels, and ammo stocks for the turrets/machine guns were missing in my box. I contacted Hasbro and at first they informed me they would send out a replacement or "equivalent" but I don't want a random, warehouse find. But now they are telling me I have to wait until Serpentor is available again, if ever. I think my next move is to inform the Better Business Bureau, I hate to go full Karen Mode, but this company has been really peeving me of late. This is just the final straw.
I don't think it quite hit's it's price point but it gets pretty close. Either that's not a $50 vehicle or Serpentor needs just a little bit more. I'm leaning more toward the Vehicle. Had it been painted gold and came with a stand, I think that would make it near perfect for it's price point. After that it's adjusting the weapons to be a bit more dynamic. But you take this, the Hiss Haslab, and a nice collection of Joes. This is a centerpiece type of release. You build around the airchariot. It's not just off to the side.

It’s like everyone is looking for that first high every time a figure comes out but most of the time sadly it stays in neutral with the trends just as movie quality now. All the different facets, curves and variations like they did in the past seems to be too controlled now. I like things about this classified however it seems like every figure with marvel and McFarland is blending together the more that’s banged out. I keep asking is it Economic satiation lol 😆 Anyone else feelin like that ?
LOL they didn't just take stormshadow and turn him into serpentor,. They just took a DNA sample in the comics. They grew a clone body from all the DNA gathered. The cartoon about the same...The the DNA was more recipe specific. Ater Sargent Slaughter destroys a vile of DNA they needed...Mindbender was forced to use SgT slaughters DNA in place. LOL There is a little bit of Sgt slaughter in the toon version. LOL This why...he said "and this I command" Because Sarge always said "And that's a order!!! " Also Sarge as a serious hate boner for Doctor Mindbender. And Serpentor has a serious hate boner for Slaughter.
I know his head is supposed to be the different colors/shades, but it looks weird on this for some reason. Maybe because one is metallic and the other not so much or the hood is too small? Not sure, but glad I passed on this after seeing it, I wouldn't be able to get over that.
Definitely worth the price with all of those details. It was almost an immaculate paint job as well.
Very cool. I have this. Feel they should of included an alternate Yelling face. Also a green plug in for the wrist when the claw is not being used.

You might be able to use a couple of those clear plastic dynamic stands with pegs on the end in those two big screw holes on the bottom.
