ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I always felt High Evolutionary was one of the most underrated Marvelvillains. I am a big fan of the Marvel villains that play around with genetics like him, Jackal, Sinister etc.
A nice maroon wash would bring out the details beautifully
Just happy they actually made this character into a figure! YAY!
I like that Shart pointed out all the negatives while keeping his enthusiastic attitude in the review. Hasbro needs to hear that from influential reviewers so we can get the best possible figures. Maybe his talk with Talkerart helped.
Villain wave Dormammu's hands work really great on this figure. If you want grasping hands that can hold accessories it's worth having the Dormammu hands for this guy.
Yeah, I would agree I did the same thing and it works like a beaut
hickman avengers run is amazing. all the scifi tropes in one run. time travel. multiple universes. dyson spheres. beyonders. cosmic entities left and right.
High Evolutionary was one of the first figures I ever customized. Definitely want to get this figure. Wonder what else we will see that body used for.
A character I've wanted for ages. I'd even take a scaled up deluxe release of this.
Energy effects and some shade washes to bring out the details would really boost this figure's appeal.
Agreed, accessories over card! Great review as always!
Hasbro’s lack of accessories is pushing me towards buying higher end figures like mafex and mezco.
Hadn't thought much about this figure since it was announced, but man this actually looks amazing!
I like this figure, it's great, I also like this character.
Thanks for the review Shartimus.
I'm really excited to have this as an antagonist for my Champions
Now if only I had a Viv
We need a Viv vision, Like so badly, Maybe hee later appearance
We also need cho and Nadia would also love Snowguard and Rayshaun Patriot
The High Evolutionary was the basically considered the Architect of the Marvel Universe-Matrix and no doubt I one of the best figures in the retro wave next to Thing.
I’ve liked him since being introduced to him while watching X-men the animated series, in the 90s
Yo Shart I been watching your vids since 2014 man and I just wanted to say my toddler loves your intro song. He loves marvel legends at 2 years old and binges your vids intro when I let him surf UA-cam. Thanks for the reviews and fun your vids bring me and my kid. Looking forward to street humans .
A great review, Shartimus. The retro Fantastic Four wave is my next purchase. High Evolutionary looks decent enough but I have to side with SUD, "I LOVE IT".
Wow this was a quick review. Love it
Thanks for the nice and informative review, Shartimus. My copy of the figure has the same lines on the chest (what you call swirling, I think) that are in exactly the same places as yours. I've just checked three other UA-cam reviews, and those lines are also there, same place, so it's a widespread flaw and not a random QA issue. I almost returned my figure because of it, but if it's for everyone, then I won't bother.
Great review! This figure looks really cool but missing out on accessories. Even just some effects so you can imply his energy manipulation and his basically unlimited power set.
High Evolutionary is so dope😎🔥
This is already my favourite figure from this wave. I'll give it a sudrating of, I love it!
My doctor strange just arrived today 🤯😯👍🏾😁, i think that the vintage collection should do more Xmen characters
Awesome man
I LOVE IT!!!
I wanna this wave , waiting for them arrive here in The UK. Looks cool this figure , I didn't know this character until now.
I think this figure is pretty cool
I want to see.........Vanguard, Charlie 27, Nikki, Aleta, Starhawk, Martinex and the Original Yondu......Along with Gorgon, Crystal, Karnak, Triton.......And Corsair, Hepzibah, Raza And Ch'od with More Super Villain's U-Foes, Salem Seven, Wrecking Crew and The Frightful Four..................
I know Nothing about him but what a Great Figure
I would love Hasbro make the Spider-Man Unlimited version of High Evolutionary. (Also the Spider-Man costume love it)
I thought the weird random lines were just on mine and now my local Gamestop has 3 on clearance with the same random lines. I guess each figure ended up like that
Where do you get the 27 dollar price point from? Retail is 22.99. Are they more in Pacifica?
I've had this guy in my hands 3 times and put him down. I WANT THE THING!! The Toys r Us here in Toronto have them
Good content I'm creating a action figure collection got anything to say?
Same man same
Sup
@@Bear-a-cuda how many figs do you have I have 3 but I'm going to make a collection
@@FireBomberBassist sup are u trying or stared a collection
Start
Nice figure
Found the figs in this wave look smaller than the box marvel legends on packaging
can you do an unboxing of the hot toys iron man mark 46
Your review on this guy is as swivel as always…I meant solid) Don’t like this figure though. By the way yet I’m waiting for BBTS shipment-Diamond Select LOTR wave 2&3. My first purchase via shop you’ve been advertising since 2015(yeah, I keep sticking to your channel for 6 years). So enjoy yourself and let the swivel be with you!)
I actually have no idea on how long will it take to postage 4,7lb box to Russia(shipment via Asendia-Priority Mail Express International)
Beautiful cardback, really like the figure, but sorely needs accessories.
Does anybody remember the High Evolutionary from the Spider-Man Unlimited cartoon?
Seeing High Evolutionary, I remember reading whole his cross event Evolutionary War. He teamed up with X-Men to restore the Savage Land, which leads me to think...Build A Figure Terminus?? Haslab Terminus??
would love it, but not really seeing enough interest in something like that. Terminus just doesn't have enough history to do either a haslab or a legit baf (which would require by Hasbro standards a two wave baf)
I know they are considering smaller haslabs, so sure a $150, Terminus with 6000 backers at 20 inches is doable... but I don't think that meets the standards they are going for.
Oi shartimus you gotta review the psycho man, the thing, human torch, depowered human torch, translucent invisible woman, invisible woman and mister fantastic asap amigo! 👍😊
Is it the blue dream that makes him the, "High," Evolutionary?
Yo nice video shartimus!
@@DeckyStrikesBack I meant the figure it was about. That he did a review on that figure.
Careful with these guys . I had to heat Psycho man to get his joints to move.
I am new collector, can someone say to me is it good to buy 2019 x-men figures. I will order it on Amazon, any suggestions which?
I'm in the same situation, I got Rogue and Gambit (newer versions) from AliExpress, you just have to pay attention if the version you choose is loose or brand new on package, I even got a Grey Hulk SDCC exclusive there, and that was expensive but I really wanted that version
I think I'll wait a while for Cyclops, Jean and Wolverine, they just announced a new body mold for Marvel Legends and I think they will use it for a Cyclops soon
I want the Jim Lee version, the 3 pack is rare and expensive and Cyclops from Warlock Wave is very expensive, Shartimus is sponsored by Mercari, you should check it out, I think that's a good alternative if you really want those figures
I also got Storm, not so expensive if you don't care if it's the version dressed in white, my black costume one came better than the ones I saw on reviews, totally recommend, specially with the price point bellow 20 bucks
@@lfabio.n thanks. I am thinking about geting Gambit and Cyclops. My Black costume Wolverine(Wendigo wave) is coming from BBTS.
@@Saul_Goodman497 Although it's a very expensive figure, I also recommend Rogue, the version with the hair sculpt with more volume, I think you're making good choices with Gambit and Cyclops, I'll probably follow your recommendation with Wolverine, I have the first appearence Wolverine, the one that came with the 80 years Hulk but I don't consider that figure a good version, I just wanted that Hulk really bad
It's nice to follow UA-camrs like Shartimus, AnthonyCustoms, Unparalled Universe, Mcucollector and others because when you got into this hobby is hard to catch up and easy to spend more than you should
@@lfabio.n yeah I watch them all. I am not Big Rogue fan so I dont know will I get her. About Wolverine I am got Wendigo wave one because I really want that Wendigo
@@Saul_Goodman497 Fair enough, glad that you can get the ones you want
Your not wrong Prime the high evolutionary was in Hickmans Avengers. The evolutionary tried to steal away some Zebra skin children from Hyperion and got his arm torn off for trying.
Charles Buford
Toybiz vs harbso
Definitely going to give that figure a black wash

As you pointed out in your other video it seems like hasbro is starting to nail down the swirling to a fine line. Obviously I would love to not see any but if its just a line I'm fine with it, just stinks that yours is slashing through his chest
omg its bootleg Ultraman lol
This is one of the examples of why Marvel Legends is ... wait for it... Legendary.... the dig deep into the well of the largest (according to Guiness book of records) fictional universe in existence, and we love it. Meanwhile McFarlane is posting 30 different Batmans in a year and no supplementary characters that resemble a comic book version of the license they acquired.
I've been waiting for this figure for over a decade. It doesn't have to be perfect, it has to just represent the kick ass character that the High Evolutionary is. There are people who gripe about how "accurate" a figure is, and that isn't ever the goal of a figure, it's a representation of the figure, this works for me, I would have liked about another half inch in stature personally, but that is a nitpick, not a requirement. (accuracy is for the Iron Man, Cap, Wolverine etc that we get a dozen versions of... for a one off figure accuracy is less important than spirit of the figure)
You not do any hot toys videos
2.like
He has no rivets on his arms or legs its a suit of armor and their ribbed!!! Stop making stuff up when you don't know what you're talking about!!!
