Your running looks so smooth and fast! Must feel great to be back to your previous running form after the injury. Can’t wait to see how you go in remaining T100 races and in IM world champs 😊
Congratulations Lucy! I was doing my first Ironman 70.3 in Nice, it was amazing to run among pro athletes on the run course, encouraging them! (as they pass alongside me 😅) It’s amazing that we are all sharing the same thing at different levels! Keep going you’re inspiring people! ❤
On the bike you were giving the 70.3s “a little bit of encouragement“ as you were flying past after already having swum twice as far! Your performance still blows my mind😮
You are so inspiring. I don't even do Tri, just trail running, but man, you push me to do better. Thanks for putting out these videos about races and training etc.
You're such an inspiration! I'm doing my first Olympic distance tri this year, I'm not fast and don't care if I'm in last place. As long as I'm having as much fun as you appear to be having it's worth all the work!
Thank you again for the video! I love the insights and I love all the little fan clips inside. That is a great format! Way to go for the London T 100 Event, Lucy. I am excited to watch!
Congratulations on a great race at Nice! Good to hear that your diagnosis has helped improve your recovery after races! Cannot wait to see the race coverage on the next T100 race next month
Congrats amazing race, couldn't believe the splits as I was watching. Good luck for London, looking forward to that race, I'll be at the opposite end of the race from you!
Awesome performance! So excited to see you race in September. And - changing your mind and revisiting decisions shows a lot of athletic intelligence and maturity so kudos 👏
Congratulations 🎉. You passed me close to finish line just when I was starting the marathon. It was great to see you fly past me in the other direction. Inspiring stuff!
Charles-Barclay, your such a inspiration to me, I'm a cyclist having to retrain and having to low carb to get lean again. Your TT form on the bike is incredible. Your attitude is SO positive and grateful. "Keep going forward Barclay"!🙂🚴♀🌞
Brilliant Lucy!! Amazing Performance!! So So Strong!! Followed avidly on the tracker 👀 The joy when you were tripping check points before 2nd & 3rd had even reached the previous one!! 🤯 You’re on Fire!! 🔥💨💨 Roll on London!! 🧜🏼♀️👸🏼🇬🇧💥
Hi Lucy, congratulations on the win. fantastic performance. I would be interested to know if you have planned a race in Germany at some point? keep it up! you are an inspiration to so many out there. I'm going to do my first 70.3 Ironman next year, thanks to you!! delights from Germany
Team CB! Please consider doing an update on what Lucy eats now! I'm a multiparty athlete with IBS and still struggling! It'd be so wonderful to get a little insight into what has been working so well for Lucy now!
I'm new to triathlon and have a non-celiac gluten sensitivity with a long history of IBS. Training my stomach to adapt to all these various gels is definitely a challenge. I don't have to have too many since I'm focused on the Olympic distance for now. I'd like to try longer courses and am with you - definitely want to know how Lucy is eating on and off the course. Gotta keep those loo visits to a minimum! LOL
Congrats on the win Lucy! Maybe an idea for the next video is a ‘what I eat in a day (GF edition)’, really interested to see the changes you made in your diet and to have some inspiration 😊
Helloooooooo, i have a question regarding your bike, Nice is quite a challenging hilly race, what is the time benefit riding it on your TT bike compared to riding it on a standard Cube bike ?
My mother also had celiac so she is always coming up with new recipes that are gluten free. Sometimes she uses the gluten free society website. Just a suggestion
Team CharlesBarclay ...very interested medical professional...would anyone in the team be willing to kindly share the gluten free diet that has helped Lucy achieve health and world class performance ...this would be inspirational for new diagnoses etc...which resources did you use?
In France we have a saying: "only idiots don't change their mind". Glad you changed yours Lucy and came to Nice. You will defend your title superbly, I'm sure. PS: I ride CUBE like you 😉
Hey IRONMAN! WTF? In Kona, LCB lead wire to wire, set a new course record, demonstrated to female athletes across the globe what is possible, and she has to validate her spot in Nice?
OMG if you ran sub 2:50 at 10 beats per min less and ran comfortable...the ladies are in seroius trouble...Lucy you are such an inspiration.
Sub 2:50 marathon pace at only 140bpm hr!?! That is other worldly. Well done LCB. Incredible.
Your running looks so smooth and fast! Must feel great to be back to your previous running form after the injury. Can’t wait to see how you go in remaining T100 races and in IM world champs 😊
Thank you, yes it does feel great! Looking forward now to T100 London 🇬🇧
Congratulations Lucy! I was doing my first Ironman 70.3 in Nice, it was amazing to run among pro athletes on the run course, encouraging them! (as they pass alongside me 😅)

Great Video. Its super cool and inspiring to see you do both, the t100 series and the ironman world championship
Wow - that looked almost effortless! 💪 Congratulations!

Thank you for watching! 😁
i have those same roka frames but i don’t think i’ve seen that gold finish available, what glasses are those? they’re sick.
After every injury you come back stronger. Really motivating and amazing, Lucy.
It was amazing to see you in Nice! Keep going Lucy
so glad to hear you are feeling well after your diagnoses. You are definitely looking and performing quite well (HR on the run was amazing).
Congrats Lucy! I did IM Nice in 2015 and there was only 9% women. Also Love this video Editing!!
Congratulations! Such an inspiration to watch 🔥
Thanks for tuning in! 🇫🇷
The music is always on point! 🔥🔥🔥
You are going to love Taupo! Can't wait to cheer you on in NZ.
Thanks Holly for working so fast hahaha a give us another amazing video 💪💪
I love how there’s a rollerblader leading you on the run, instead of a motorcycle!!! Seems good for safety!!
Super Lucy! Amazing to see you back on IM distance ❤
Always love your music choices!
Excellent vid. I particularly liked the cycle back considering you couldn't walk after your last ironman! We also need a Reece update! 👊
You bring such joy. You are an INTERNATIONAL treasure.
The fact that she as an IronMan world champion is taking time of her day to interact with people in the comment section is astounding !! 🔥💪🏻
✨💖
You are incredible! Huge congrats! And your bike 😍 my absolute dream!
Congrats! 🎉 awesome video as well!
Super cool vid, lot of images and good sound 🎉

Sounds like a great idea!
Fantastic !! Congratulations 👍
Thank you so much 😀
Looks like you so much fun! Well done LCB!!!
Congratz on the IM France win! For instantaneous pace on the run, go with a stryd pod (much better than GPS).
Super nice to watch!
Thank you very much!
Well done Lucy 🎉 🇬🇧
Extremely impressive performance... you are amazing...
Congrats on the win! I miss the old intro, is there a new one coming?
Working on it!
Helloooooooo, i have a question regarding your bike, Nice is quite a challenging hilly race, what is the time benefit riding it on your TT bike compared to riding it on a standard Cube bike ?
You are DIALED IN!! 🔥
You, Jonas Vingegaard, and Courtney Dauwalter keep me hype!!! I'm 39. Keep Going!!! 💪💖🚀
wow that run looked 🔥
What an inspiration!!
What are the calf sleeved Lucy is wearing in this event?
I swam in the Antibes outside pool in the winter it's quite the experience
Sometime I forgot how strong some humans are until knowing their heart rate🥲
What does your daily food intake look like now following the coeliac diagnosis? Great win 🧡
What watch were you using?
Well done lucy good win ❤😊
Puppies at the finish line!!❤❤❤
My mother also had celiac so she is always coming up with new recipes that are gluten free. Sometimes she uses the gluten free society website. Just a suggestion
Swim biker now swim biker runner 😎 And stepping onto the podium with a hop😮
Superstar of the sport!
Amazing….would love some more insight on your new diet too.
Great news that going GF has helped you so much.
It’s been amazing to feel so much better
well done in nice - pl repeat
Team CharlesBarclay ...very interested medical professional...would anyone in the team be willing to kindly share the gluten free diet that has helped Lucy achieve health and world class performance ...this would be inspirational for new diagnoses etc...which resources did you use?
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
In France we have a saying: "only idiots don't change their mind". Glad you changed yours Lucy and came to Nice. You will defend your title superbly, I'm sure.
PS: I ride CUBE like you 😉
Lucy the best 👍
LUCY PRIME!
👍👍🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️💪💯💪
Swimming in open water makes me incredibly dizzy… worried about my 70.3 ;(
We miss the previous intros!
Heart rate at 140 while doing sub-4 min/km at her age is criminal 😂 that's around 70-75% HRmax, she was chilling 😂
Good job woman
Two time IM World Champion !!
game over for everyone now that you've cut out gluten!!
Hey IRONMAN! WTF? In Kona, LCB lead wire to wire, set a new course record, demonstrated to female athletes across the globe what is possible, and she has to validate her spot in Nice?
There you go Lucy, following a gluten free diet does not affect your performance as I've mentioned before. In fact you will get better.
Why the new wetsuit?
Looking at lot leaner, maybe the change in your diet is paying off?.
Scary lucy 😮
2:49 stopped to bath and running 140HR 😱🫣😵🤯
I couldn’t see anyone close to you in Nice WC 24.
