There are certain things in TCCC that we do not compromise on. Torniquets are one of them. I think you found that out when you checked your pulse, and you were still able to flex with a high-n-tight applied. Stretchiness in a TQ is a big no no when it comes to arterial bleeds. I'm obviously very biased, and I also recommend the wraps be applied over wounds rather than proximal. But what's your take on why stretchiness is a big no no? Some people feel elastic won't get tight enough. Others feel they get too tight on small limbs. Elastic maintains pressure better as the volume of a limb decreases. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28088813/ So lost arterial occlusion is less likely with elastic which is one point in their favor. I respect CoTCCC but I'm still trying to work out why all their favorites are inelastic.

I preferred this format a lot more than the studio anyway. You don’t seem very scripted anyway but this felt pretty off the cuff, you personalized everything really well.
The rain cover could be used as an emergency shelter if you're out hiking and get caught in a downnpour. Also, it can be used as a rain collector for gathering water to process to drink or for food.
A pretty cool BattlBox, everything has a definite use except for the WESN butter knife, it’s cute but functionality; questionable. The tourniquet looks very good, but I would like to see it used on a child. Love the fire starter and surprised by the fire poker and bellows.
Do you know of a real organization that will get money to the people? I want to help but fear my dollar will not get to those that need it. Your opinion is very respected

I recommend buy the items you want it is cheaper. These boxes are crap anymore. One or two items that are good. We are all tired of the pro plus knife of the month club. It used to be a really nice item, now they went cheap.
Love the Wesn knife, the other stuff I will never use. Already have other tourniquets that are much better. The fire stoker is crap, fire starter is pointless especially if you have been a member more than 2 months, The backpack cover will never be used as most backpacks are already waterproof. The double X knife is blah, as it is too small for most people/enthusiasts. Very underwhelmed on this box. Amazingly, after totaling the price of this box, it's still a good deal!

I have a couple of small fixed blades I’d like to edc but I’m in the uk so they got to stay in my camping equipment box!
Lol that pull start fire thing got me in trouble at a state park in Texas when they seen me using it even tho there wasn't a burn ban at the time
