As always, thanks for sharing. Although I did not need that mental picture of you in a loincloth, lol. The one thing you might consider adding (which I added to my kit) is a Pellet Grate for your Solo Stove. They make one for each of their stoves (including the one I got from your site) and it allows you to burn wood pellets (I heat my home with them so I already have them on hand). You can pack a Ziploc Sandwich Bag full of wood pellets and it fits right down inside your Solo Stove (or Kessel Pot) when you pack it and will give you days of fuel for cooking and it is cheap fuel (and dry ready to burn fuel). BTW, if you don't heat your home with wood pellets, you can borrow a sandwich bag full from a friend or buy a bag of pellets at your local Wal-Mart, Lowe's, or Tractor Supply. They are sold in 40lb bags for about 6 or 7 bucks. A 40lb bag would last you years (unless you do a butt load of camping). Also great for a BOB.
Nice kit. I photographed a wedding a while back and the groom noticed I was carrying a fixed blade on my belt. He asked to see it and after that asked for my address. I thought it was odd, as that had never happened to me before. Anywho, a couple months after the wedding, I received a Battlbox in the mail! 🎉 Coolest tip, ever! The groom obviously is a subscriber.
Very happy to see you using the pathfinder nesting cup. The steel water bottle that goes with it is awesome too. I have that set and the canteen cooking set.
My bag always has my shemag, hellfire grills, a folding stove, metal cup, water filter, tinder box, lighter, flashlight, and a woobie, every time I go out in woods
Compass opinion, either learn declination well or buy a compass with declination correction (if you use a map.) Soooo worth it. Either way is good. Otherwise, you put yourself at a disadvantage before you ever go out
Clarification?: Anyone wondering why he says he keeps this on him all the time? But when you look at the kit, some of it has never been used... The dude is a major gear guy with brand demos coming out his ears. That forage bag has never been used. Ever. I presume what he means is he's got one just like it that's used and dirty/wrinkled waxed canvas. He represents good clean gear for us. He generally probably won't show us his dirty hanky😆 Personally I'm happy just seeing the new one 🧐 The dude is legit! He uses all this gear a lot.
Thank you, @ManInTheWoods76. While many people wonder why Currin1776 consistently has new-looking gear alongside his OG essential loadout, you truly understand. Your insight is spot-on, and we appreciate it 100%. Yeehaw to you brother
You should see my bug out bag I can’t even carry it. I’m in the process of lighting it up some. May need a secondary bag for for emergency purposes also. I like the kit you have a good setup 😊
Hey brother, nice vidja, I love these vidjas to see if I'm thinking/carrying to much gear myself. Loved the belt pouch, was one of the first pieces I got when I started collecting. 👍🏽
DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS??!! Lol. Seriously, though, I get the weird feeling you've been stalking me. But seriously, it's very cool for you to be showcasing lots of cool gear and supporting many of the small business vendors at the Georgia Bushcraft Gathering. Once again, it did not work out for me this year but I will plan better and will most certainly make it down there next year for my very first time to the Fall Gathering. I very much enjoyed the vidja, brother. Keep up the excellent work! 👊🔥
Do you not fret with bug nets out in the Georgia bush? I'm in the dirty south myself and in the process of improvising a bugnet "tent" with a tarp floor and overhead combo to enjoy the utter lack of summer breezes😅 and not feel so inclosed in a tent.
Preface this with my first BattleBox should be arriving today. Tuff Possum makes great stuff. Is there any chance that Tuff Possum may make its way to BattleBox?
I've been wanting this vidja for a while. Thanks. One question: Do you keep the grayel in your pack, and ho do you hydrate on the go, or do you just stop and dig it out.
To put together that duffel bag & other stuff about how much would it cost?? My husband died & I'm trying to learn about this survival stuff. Please let me know cost. I want to get started asap.
What gear would you add/remove if this is your loadout? Which one's your favorite?
Hygiene. Chem light. A fork/spoon combo.

Sweet kit bro
Your gear packout is solid. My 2nd time watching this video. I am copying your items for my loadout. Thanks

Like it a lot :)
I would not change anything maybe add a meal pack just in case. Great video and can't wait to see what is in mission 105
I need to do like you just put my gear in a bin and when I got pack it up because I switch packs all the time as well.

You're a bit tool heavy. And bless you for it💪
I'd add tea bags, sugar, salt and a couple of candy bars, just incase
I would add pyroputty just in case if your somewhere there are no trees, water, and socks, insulated gloves
I don’t even walk around my house wearing a loincloth ! That’s a good thing trust me ! 🤣🤣🤣
