@@elisimons8841 Those are all top-tier levels. For some reason, all the Halo levels with lots of green scenery and blue skies usually end up being my favorites.
Supersnow HALO 4 had some decent music, particularly shitstorm music where it didn't make you feel like an unstoppable badass, something earlier games lacked unless it was in reference to the Flood. But I agree, the music in the earlier games are just so much better.
Some people only like multiplayer in games, and not the campaign. Easily, both from experience, as well as the other comments, I can easily say Halo 2 campaign spits in the face of this rule. Long live Halo 2! :)
My first experience in the Halo universe, I was babysitting for a friend, and it was after the kids had gone to bed. They'd said I could use the Xbox after they'd gone to bed, so I did. Halo 2 looked interesting, so I popped it in. Unfortunately, they were the sort to not take care of discs, so I only got as far as the tunnels under New Mombassa before it couldn't read the disc any more. Two months later, I, a die hard Nintendo fanboy, bought an Xbox so I could play Halo 2 some more. And I bought Halo CE with it, because I needed that. It was 2008 and I was wishing I could have afforded the Xbox 360 to get Halo 3 as well. Soon enough I did get the 360 (Halo 3 Edition!) and if a new console had never come out, I'd be fine on that forever. Halo 3, ODST, Halo wars, Reach, and Burnout Paradise... I played those so much that I've owned Bioshock, Mass Effect 1&2, Dead Space 1&2, and Fallout 3 since like 2014, and never finished any of them. I do now own Halo 4 and 5, and an Xbox One, but if you asked me, "Hey, you wanna play Halo 5 for the first time, or co-op Halo 3 on Heroic again?" I'd go for Halo 3 any day.

Basilhs Tsif No, they've got Kazuma from H4, but not Neil this time. Kazuma's bringing back more traditional music... including a remade version of the main theme.
Oh yeah. One of the best things about the first 3 halo games (especially the first two) is the atmosphere, which wouldn't be possible without this glorious ost.
I remember replaying the mission start trying to keep all the ODST's alive until I eventually realized the ODST's at the front of the temple were dead by default; the mission loads with them already dead (at least I'm pretty sure).
I wonder why Delta Halo Suite doesn't have Peril. Thank you because i would hum that song while shooting jackals and grunts, while rocket launching turrents and sticky grenading grunts and elites

@@jacen1178 That's the point of a tank. Slow, yet VERY powerful.
“Human heavy assault vehicle!”

One of my favorite sounds in the whole franchise. Encapsulates the beauty and mystery of the Forerunners so well
The memories man. I used to play this mission over and over for like an entire summer. Nostalgic as hell.
2:38 takes me back to simpler times
Indeed it does.
The entire...every...single...piece of soundtrack in halo 2 is simply amazing.
Heretic Hero is an absolute masterpiece!!!
Peril was the shit, so was Amber Clad, played this mission several times mostly for the music
Peril IS one of the best!
