Being a boater it allows me to see all types of boats get through the chop & swales. Seeing the boat haul characteristics working and the double duty of the Chimes and Carolina Flairs working ! And those captains "The good The Bad and the ugly. Keep them coming ⚓️🇺🇸

It wasn't all perfect, :( as I was parking, I missed a Riva 88 Florida as it ran past the jetty at speed then cruised through the inlet.
damn! would have liked to see that. seems like the perfect boat to have in Miami.

Thanks, the full equipment package list is in the description. I use a 5d mk iii which is not ideal for video like this, I need the camera for photography too so I had to compromise.

when I was a kid this used to be my favorite Beach but as adult now it still is I love Haulover Beach North Miami Beach from Keith in Ohio

This inlet has a bridge that most sail boats cant clear. The sailboats run out of fort lauderdale and government cut in miami

I don't think I've seen a Mystic on it's own in South Florida, I think I've only seen them at Superboat races or in the pack during a Florida Powerboat Club event.

None of these, what Americans amusingly refer to as, 'captains' appear to have ever heard of passing port to port nor have they ever been told that driving large boats past small ones at ridiculous speed in a confined seaway is extremely dangerous … most of them shouldn't be allowed near a boat.

These are all dealer owned boats...no fishing equipment.
These nice center consoles are like the Range Rovers and Jeeps down in Miami, people own them because they are capable and cool but don't use them as fishing boats.
I see people with nice boats and yachts but they do not use it to go to Bahamas it's 40 miles away I don't think they know that it's like go to from Miami to Fort Lauderdale 🤔😂
You get out sight of land and unless you are on a larger boat you'll see how big the ocean is, for example no way would I passage to the Bahamas in an open whaler.

You are brave. How long does it take you, and more specifically can you do it on one tank of gas?
you can make it on one tank easy to bimini, but we take extra fuel with- i take 10 gal. very fun trip!!!
It might be a fun trip with a calm sea and a blue sky with a few puffy clouds drifting along, but the sea and swell can change quickly, and the sea doesn't take prisoners. I wouldn't even think of going to the Bahamas in anything smaller than a 50 foot motor launch, and preferably a 60 or 75 foot one.
