Believe it or not every rod (fishing pole) has a purpose. Makes it easy to switch up quick depending on what is biting at the moment. Imagine you have only 4 rods and all 4 are out for a certain fish but then you see something hitting off in the distance. No time to re-rig the rods. Plus you need one for every able bodied soul on board. LOL
ZipZapPower Hey! I’ve been watching your videos for like 5 years now. I keep buying the wrong center console and you see them ride all the time, what boat make have you seen come through that has rode the best 30-36ft just your opinion can save me from buying another rough riding boat! Thank you
Wow I love these videos.... The sound of water slapping on the bottom of the hull.... makes me miss my big boat when I used to live on Long Island New York.... fancy people over there... I haven’t heard an old school V6 mercury outboard with drilled exhaust yet... there’s no better sound in the outboard world than that!!! Thank you for the great videos!!!
2:17 ...Smith....you don't see them often. Super cool boats. Rigged to fish, sleep overnight or haul ass. Big diesels and tunnel drives with surface piercing props..
It's been a while but you never seem to disappoint!!! Would love to see those cats in the rough that is Haulover. In love with the Pursuit 35! That's a fantastic looking boat! Thanks Zap! Keep em coming!
Great video, I'm somewhat jealous of the beautiful boats in the video. I've just purchased a bayliner 175 and can't wait to launch her for the first time. It will be mainly used for pleasure, but when the makeral are running she will instantly become a fishing boat. Thanks for posting. ATB from Northern Ireland 👍... Billy.
Hi, i have lots coming from Haulover and Miami.. i set up on the pier at Rickenbacker causeway to catch all the demo rides going in and out on Monday. I haven't reviewed the shots yet, i'm hoping they are interesting enough to post.
Been waiting for this video. At 4:03 looks like a competition 25. At 6:35 is a skater 28 and at 8:47 is a hustler 34. Btw the concept at 8:57 belongs to a friend of mine. Good work. Keep them coming.
ZipZapPower I'm good. Just freezing my butt off this winter but its almost over. Always good to see new videos. Btw I'll be in your neck of the woods April.22-24. If you're gonna be in town maybe we can grab a beer.

Never heard of Axopar, but the first one @2:58 looks bad-ass - almost military or harbor pilot inspired design. All that's missing is the high caliber gun on the bow 😜
how about that Twin Vee @2:55 lol you have to love the Atlantic Ocean, that guy can go out 2 miles in a good day like that and get a huge Kingfish just like a half a million boat next to him.
@@eyeconspiracy You guys are so lucky,I had a 21 feet I had to sell after a year here in the Gulf of Mexico, because in this area is sooo shallow that you have to really go out(ideally 50 to 90 miles out)to reach some good fishing.I'm planning to get a skiff to go to the backwaters,it makes more sense and it's more affordable.
@@MangoAficionado yeah i fish by myself 95% of the time, so it works for me. I never really leave the helm. My arms are long enough to reach back from the seat and grab a down rod from the rear holders & I usually troll 2 long lines off holders on each side of the grab bar. I know the sportfish guys probably think im an idiot when they see me out in the stream, but i just keep my eye on the weather.
I noticed lots of Seavee, Intrepid and Contender boats in this vids...Are they very popular among boat owners in this area?...Also nice to see a couple of Axopars ☺️
See Vee’s and Contenders are great riding boats that cut through the chop excellent. The downfall is once you stop they tend to sway very heavily side to side. They are also very expensive which imo is not worth it because they are pure fishing boats and very plain looking.
I am sorry but can anyone tell me how far they have to go out? Or if you go fishing at this place how many engine hours do you have a day? I am asking cause these boats do burn a hell lot of fuel and i wonder how a normal "hobbyfisher" is able to afford it?
I cannot believe how extreme some of those fishing boats are... we've got nothing like that in Australia. The gas bills would send us broke. It's not cheap Down Under. :(
I sea trialed the freeman 34 and I can honestly tell you is one of the best riding center consoles out there, and I hate Cats. That 37 must be a dream to own and fish on. Seriously a beautiful riding boat. Still love some seavee and yellowfin though. Anyone have the winning numbers for the lotto this week ?
I see lots of waving. Do you have a big sign up or something? Or are you just standing on the jetty with a tripod, waving to everyone? If I ever end up in haulover, I'll be sure to wave to you! :)
no sign, they must recognize the tripod and camera... I usually don't wave back tho cause I'm tracking the boat.. if you see me, don't need a wave, hit then gas!

¡Hola! En este día, pasé 10 horas filmando. Me dieron unos 300 clips, aproximadamente 400 barcos corrió a través de la entrada cuando yo estaba allí. The long poles attached to the boat are called outriggers, they are used when trolling, the fishing line is attached to them and they are splayed out. This keeps the lines from tangling and allows you to put more lines in the water and cover more area.
@@maximusbavarius It also allows you to get the lures in the wake of the boat and out of the prop wash, most fish hang just behind the boat to either side, they can't see the lure very well with all the bubbles coming from the propellers, usually 4 out of every 5 strikes we get are on the outriggers, it'll wake you up when they pop, that's for sure, the whole boat shudders!
Is there a reason why the videos are sped up? I feel like it takes away from the feeling of being there and just doesn’t give you enough time to appreciate the boats which is the best part of these videos. That being said, I love your videos and will continue to watch regardless.
Thanks.. the clips are short to keep the vid moving along and interesting, short clips also allow me to edit out any jerky camera movements. I create a variety from vid to vid, some where i let the clips run long and some where i let them run longer.. In this vid i wanted the edit to match the pace of the boats as they run.
@@ZipZapPower Please keep the boats in scene a little longer, this really is more dynamic but loses the "serenity" it used to have. I used to watch this videos before going to sleep and now I'm to hyped up :-) Great work, nevertheless!
Seriously, the number of fishing poles on some of the boats is insane... pole addiction.
Your channel must be getting popular, everyone is waving now lol
Yes, but note none of the fishing boats have idiots riding in bow in big waves and knocking themselves unconscious:)
Way to end it
