the Arteon is definitely an attractive buy for those interested between the G20 and W205 C-Class. Performance wise I think the Arteon is definitely a no-brainer. Not to mention it has lots of tuning potential too being a VW.
Yeah VW claims it drinks 7.4L/100km. Wow! Such a bold claim for a heavyweight car with performance engine and AWD. I think we shall wait for WapCar to do full rating on this car (including fuel consumption).
Kon, how is the throttle response of this car in comfort and normal mode? Is it better or not as responsive and immediate as the pre Facelift you drove last year? I know this model is more power but wondering on the throttle response.
It's responsive enough for me, where a turbocharged car is concerned, but yeah, can't runaway, more boost will equal more lag. Didn't bother me though.

I'm shocked at the fuel bars. Lol. At 100++ km trip meter, full tank @ 8 bars. Then 316km, fuel bar at 3 😅😅😅 That's a lot. Maybe after break-in (1 600km), it should improve.

Car stall in the middle of the road and yet they did not take action until years later It took VW 3 - 4 years later to take action. Too late as VW brand is down the drain. Try to sell your VW and you will know.

More nimble but the arteon will be faster in most conditions due to it’s awd traction.

It's quieter than the pre-facelift W205.
The G20 is quieter, but ride quality wise, not as comfortable as the Arteon.

Our usage not reflective of real world as we had a lot of idling time while shooting.

It was delivered in very smooth fashion. The BMW 330i accelerated much more brutally in comparison.
