React to something from 17-18 years ago, "Gojira - Remembrance The Link Alive DVD." Mario was just about 21 at the time, and they were beasts live already back then. Also, you can see Marios feet on that, haha.
I got to meet Gojira at a signing at a music festival. They were all very kind but I told Mario how much his drums inspire me as a drummer and he smiled and bowed to me and encouraged me to keep at it, shook my hand. Such a humble guy.

Bro honestly these are some of the most fun I've had watching reaction videos.
I think many of us who'd consider ourselves big Gojira fans vividly remember certain moments in songs that just blew our minds the first time we heard it. The first heavy riff in "Flying Whales" is one that really sticks out for me personally. Now, of course, Gojira isn't for everyone and music hits everyone's ears differently. There are few things more enjoyable as a metal fan (or most any fans really) than sharing something we love with someone and finding that they too feel those kickass moments that you enjoy so much.

I'm young, but I'll make my bold claim as a 25 year old. Gojira is the most solid live Metal band out there right now, they slay live and make every studio song better in person. I liked Magma, but was iffy about the studio mix, but when they played those songs live it was like a whole new album for me. Their live version of "The Shooting Star" from Pol'and'rock 2018 proves that.

Gojira is one of those bands where you listen to ANY song of their’s once and it’s PRETTY good, then the next time you shit yourself from how good it is. The songs just get BETTER the more you listen to them
If you want to see Gojira in a live setting that they belong in every night. Watch their Live at Pol'and Rock set. It's a musical and visual masterpiece.
Mario's drumming is insane dude. If you really wanna see him in action check out his solos. The one he does at Brixton is amazing.

You should defenetly give a shot to their lesser known stuff. Esoteric surgery, Planned obsolescence, world to come... Those are fantastic tracks. Also, if you want to get more into mario's drumming, you could react to his drum solo from Brixton academy, a sight to behold (A sight to behold is also an extremly good track from Gojira)

Please try Dance Gavin Dance! They’re an amazing band with especially intricate guitar parts, but they mesh metal and pop in a way that’s not being done by anyone else, and their music videos are super entertaining. Try Head Hunter or Son of Robot.
If you ever get the chance to see them live don't miss it. They are one of the best live performance I've ever seen next to Tool.

if you wanna see his feet there are pedal cam vids that you can watch on here, it's called the heel-toe technique if you're interested, and it's pretty much the only way to reach those tempos with your feet.
I still prefer this version over the album version. Their best performance I think ever recorded.
I'm glad you are liking Gojira so far. For more drumming appreciation I suggest the drum solo from that same concert, maybe not for a reaction, but to see it yourself since it's a 2-3 minute video. Mario is one hell of a drummer!

I highly recommend you to try out a band called Trivium. Their newest song called "What the dead men say" would be a strong start.
IF you wanna switch it up a bit, i suggest trying The Ocean - Permian: The Great Dying, or if you wanna be really wild Rhyacian: Untimely Meditations (2017 Version). Love Gojira though, and for some reason i love seeing other people enjoy what i know to be good, so you could also keep that up.
