- As I was in Exeter shooting something else for theMSguide.com I took the opportunity to drop by and meet Jacqui face to face. Quite the novelty these days!
Jacqui tells how she is getting on with #Kesimpta and why she loves taking it.

The missing a month is interesting, because I'm also on Kesimpta in the UK and Novartis advised me to simply have vaccines two weeks after my injection and two weeks before the next. Just had my Covid booster a couple of weeks ago. I had an antibody test whilst I was previously on Ocrevus and I had seroconverted, so hopefully this 4th jab has also helped. Interesting that we've been advised different things regarding vaccines.
I'm on kesimpta since November 2021. Works very well for me.
hey,are you still on Kesimpta? how is that working out for you?
Nice to see a video discussion in person. 🧡
Was pondering about switching to Kesimpta from Ocrevus but after being on Ocrevus for five years don’t know if it would be wise. I’ll ponder some more. 😉
About to start on it for first time. 🤗
Is Mavenclad also a good Option ?
That’s an open ended question. It is an efficacious IRT. I wish I had been offered it 15y ago when it was being repurposed.
What an absolutely brilliant video and DMT - hope I can join in a gin some day :)
How are you feeling now 2 years on being on Kesimpta? Any joint pain? Thank you
I’ve passed your question onto Jacqui.
I had a relapse in March of this year, and had the usual course of steroids. Recovery felt quicker than after previous relapses ( before being on Kesimpta ), and I have had no other issues. I'm waiting for my post relapse MRI results, so will reassess then if I need to 🧡
No joint pain, the odd ache in my knees if I overdo things, but I've always had that since diagnosis. More so now I'm getting older! 🧡
@@jacquimartin5714 thank you so so much for taking the time to reply. I am currently on Ocrevus, but I feel as the months go on, the effects of the medication wears off, and inflammation starts running wild. ❤️
@@aluna_m888 I do gey a 'crap gap' before the next dose, but that is mild enough to cope with, and never longer than two days 🧡
