He was fantastic. A super fun addition to the cast for the short time he was there, and he definitely helped make season 4 memorable (even if it wasn't *quite* as good as the first few seasons, imo). I just don't think he and Lorelai worked as a couple. Any time one of them had a problem, the other freaked out because they're both so quirky and frenetic. Lorelai works best with someone who can be her rock and balance out her energy.
just doing the lords work, it ironic, people see this show as a guilty pleasure, but i think its one of the smartest shows i've ever seen, always so much to talk about with this show@@7xi_7xi88L

Me too, he was funny and nice and so playful and i loved his storyline with Richard.
They had great chemistry because Lauren and Chris are friends in real life.
He tried way to hard to get Lorelai to go out with him. And when he does he can't sleep in the same bad.
The two dislikes were Richard and Emily disapproving of this relationship
