Blair Brown l always felt that their main point of conflict was they were to similar. Every time we meet someone from Emily and Richard’s world they comment on how similar Lorelai is to her mother. It made me wonder if Emily’s issue with Lorelai is that Emily felt the same societal constraints but was able to function within them and doesn’t understand why Lorelai can’t get with the program.
I would say Lorelei acted more like a big sister or a best friend than an actual mother. She was unconventional. I mean she had Rory when she was 16; so of course their relationship resembles more of a big sister little sister/ girls whom were best friends as opposed to an actual mother daughter relationship.
A day travel bag isn’t a bad idea you know. You will be surprised how handy it is to have backup clothes if the weather changes. Some thing happens to your clothes or for some reason beyond your control you can’t get home that night.
You bring an extra coat because it’s cool out and if something happens to the first one your stuck. My mother clearly learned packing from Emily’s school of travel. 😂

Dean was pathetic and angry, he treated Rory in an almost abusive way, she was afraid to be herself or ever say no. I hate that Lorelai never realised this but it makes complete sense given how Christopher treats her.
she relise but isnt aware when she first sees Dean she says he reminds her of Christopher when she was in high school she talks about him like if she is in aday dream and than she would have to accnolgy Chris is very toxic then to say yea Dean needs to be gone
In retrospect,Lorelai was a much more fun and relevant version of her mother.
