I am a weekly user of Bead Maker as the car is parked outside 24/7. My car is coated with Optimum Opti-Coat Pro+, and I use Optimum Hyper Seal as a top coat which is applied every 3-4 months when a maintenance wash is done. Bead Maker was not designed as a top coating, and most people know it will only last around 2-3 weeks if the car is outside most of the time. The reason I can use Bead Maker as a weekly top up is because of the cost, it is a third to half the cost of the brands used in the video. And that was the main thing I found missing from the video, was the related cost between products in regards to performance. I appreciate immensely the time taken by yourself to prepare the panels, testing of the panel, the editing of the video between cameras you may have been using, to present a great video. Well done.
I know the video is 4 years old, but I was about to pick up Bead Maker, and I thought I should check if you've done a video on it before I did. You saved me a purchase that I would have been disappointed with, really appreciate the work you do for us!
Same here. Even if it boost gloss like many claim, if it attracts dust also claimed by many, it would be short lived since it would be covered with dust
A partially correct statement. Even with the credible info provided here there will still be people who will disregard this and continue to use the OriGinal inferior product. Just a shame.
@@oliveryurface997 There is no right or wrong, just what you like in a product. The on bottle of BeadMaker I purchased worked suprisingly well and lasted for 3 weeks on a daily driver. I'm a Optimum Opti-Seal user and that works good enough for me and is the easiest product when you understand that less is more (= no high-spots = true WOWA).
WildDanHibiki They will continue to buy it just because The Rag Company is really good with their marketing. Now they are friend with Pan The Organiser so they will ask him to sell his garbage product. It’s too bad because his name in the business is not good anymore. Last time I look he present the new brand of The Rag Company and said he was friend with them. He present the product WOWO’S SHOW STOPPER. GO LOOK AT HIS REACTION, THE PRODUCT SHINE FOR ONE DAY. 😂 IF YOU ARE NOT SELLING FOR YOUR FRIEND THEN LET ME KNOW WHAT IS SO WOW.
WildDanHibiki sadly not mine I was going to use it as a drying aid on top of a dedicated ceramic coating but it seems like it would just kill its self clearing properties and hydrophobicity. Real shame.
Marcus Cassius choosing a product is 100% dependent on the users overall objective. I use bead maker as a topper for gloss only. It’s super cheap by the gallon and it works great for my intended purpose. It appears you’re misinformed or so narcissistic you can’t understand a perspective that isn’t yours. Typical uneducated peasant.
Well done Sandro, Honest Aussie review, that's why you're the stand out in reviews, tell it like it is. you'll be no# 1 in detailing on UA-cam if you keep this up.
I would have never believed it until I saw your video. It may feel slick to the touch but water and contaminants evidently hold different properties than our skin. I had seen so many videos of it beading on a flat surface that this literally burst my bubble that contained my thoughts on bead maker. Originally I was looking for videos to support my intent to purchase a few gallons. It was so inexpensive and so many detailing pros were praising it. I think I will look at it as a quick detailer for gloss and slickness but that's it, and after this video I wouldn't promote to anyone. Terrific content and incredible preparation resulting in "Case Closed", period. Great job and just validates your channel on how great it is.
Sandro, you seriously are the most honest detailing UA-camr out there! I like many just saved myself money by thinking to watch your video first. I think I will unsubscribe from Pan because it was his bullshit hype that made me think about buying this. You are the most detailed a specific reviewer I have seen, I am truly grateful and you have even inspired me to start detailing part time. Thank you.
I've been using bead maker for a few weeks and was considering buying a gallon of it.. not spending another dime on it not since this video exposed the social media craze over it. Great presentation of this product and it's competitors!
myself and thousands others watching these product reviews have been planning to buy this product. I only held off cause some few commenters said dont believe the hype and i got doubts.
at $30 a gallon, it really is a bargain for what it does well, but to compare it to far superior and much much more expensive products is disingenuous, as some hype train reviewers have.
Thanks for your honest review Sandro. No surprise to see the bad results of the Bead Maker... It's mainly a product for beginners with a strong marketing. There are millions of alternatives, better and cheaper 😉
Love this stuff and first time I went to buy some I was told "don't get a 16oz bottle you'll use it all in the 1st application of it!" so I bought a gallon (still cheap in the states $30) and it has lasted me a while. Every detail I do I just use it as a topper and it's magic! Agree, no need to waste a ton of product. Great review! Edit: I only use it on a dry application on top of another sealant or wax but I've had really good results and finishes*
Thanks Sandro, for another detailed review covering coated and non coated surface types. As someone who owns a car without ceramic coating, I always struggle looking for a video review that applies to me.. And my search ends at your channel. Keep it up! Also, I won't be wasting time and money on this product as it doesn't work for my needs and set up. So, thank you for clearing that up too 🙂
Excellent closing notes! I have recently tried Bead Maker and went in with the expectation of it being nothing more than a quick detailer VS a sealant. It works great as that and leaves the paint slick and for the price, it is hard to beat.
A professional review of an overhyped product. Thank you for doing the due diligence for the rest of us. About time bead maker got the wind let out and shown what it really is, a quick detailer. Jet looks amazing in these tests.
Awesome review!!!! I knew it wasn’t durable and the water behavior is lacking, but I’m surprised it didn’t amplify or gloss the paint as much as claimed. High slickness is accurate for BM, but it was touted as having extremely high gloss, which doesn’t seem to be the case.
I enjoy using bead maker mainly for applying before a car meet to get a nice shine . In a real world test it only last about 3 weeks and works great on windshield to repeal rain. Your are right you don't need to use tons of product and does add much protection. Bead maker did work well with poly wax for beading. To me this is a great product for a drying aid and getting your car ready for a car meet. Great video
Thanks for the honest review. From most of the reviews I've seen they made this stuff sound like spray on Kevlar for you paint. Clearly that's not true. Thanks
exactly my thoughts, well duh there goes advertising at it's finest for us, when in reality BM is a standard QD.. Couple of great companies and channels just lost their credit in my eyes. Thank you a lot Sandro for the honest review and testing.
Sandro, I hope you never stop making these videos. You have been invaluable to the detailing community and enthusiasts alike. You are the best and most meticulous detailing channel out there! I'm only an enthusiasts but from the knowledge I gained watching your videos I reckon I could start my own mobile detailing business!
By far this is the best review of bead maker online. However disappointed with its testing results. After so much hype this video does show its true abilities.
Fully agree with your comments, it is definitely shy on the hype that has been made about bead maker. Use it on the work car as a drying aid and works well on glass but that’s about it. Great video and always enjoy your content.
Bead Maker looks good on application and then that’s it. My black car turns brown in no time so I won’t be replacing mine when it’s gone. Great honest review Sandro.
Sandro you did a great job with this review. Is this the first detailing product where we saw just how influential a few key youtubers and highly organized targeted social media can overhype and sell a product
Shoot I just ordered a bottle today after seeing it on AMAZON and watching a review by a pan guy. Everyone on that channel said it was the cats meow. Then I see this and try to cancel my order 😣
Thank you for this comprehensive video. The tests were excellent and I’ve watched it all. As for me I like to apply bead maker heavily on the surface and towel. I let it dwell and then wipe it off. It has worked wonders for me and the cars I have used it on. In the heat you’ll have to apply quickly and wipe off immediately. It’s best to apply it on a cool shaded surface. Again, thanks for this video! 🙌
Hey Sandro! I was definitely one of them who wanted a review of this product(BM) from you. I was not impressed with their claims from the beginning, yet was hoping I wasn’t missing out on a great product. Now I’m convinced my initial concerns have been validated. What is extremely noticeable to me is that BM can be removed/or reduced very easily with water. I believe if you would have sprayed water continually on BM for 5 minutes straight it would have disappeared. 🤷🏽♂️ “Another One”....Great video that is! Thanks! P.S. Those Waxit products are amazing 😍
Interesting review. Thank you for taking the time. With my experience with beadmaker after a couple months and many applications on both ceramic’d, waxed or bare paint, it has been positive. Granted I have seen the water sheeting go slow or dull on lower door panels or high impact areas but I have also seen it repel like crazy after a couple of applications. I have been looking for alternatives, but for the price it’s hard.
do you still use it? I'm still thinking about giving it a try, mainly for the gloss not really performance because TRCs videos on it say it'll last a few weeks and I'll probably be applying it after every wash anyway so longevity isn't really important to me
@@chrisguzman7926 eh not so much. Have found many other products at this point. It lasts about a week realistically. If you wash your car weekly then its fine.
Thought to give bead maker a try. It's selling very expensive in my country. After watching your great review I think i will stick with Carpro Elixir which very good as well.
Thank you for such honest review. I bought a gallon, and is just sitting on a self. The product, easy to use and great slick feeling,,,,,,,BUT it does not last. I commented same to Pan the Organizer, he ask me if I knew something else better ? YES ! If you get a chance, review "The Last Coat" . My results: easy to use, great durability. Thank you for another awesome video !
Yeah I’ve known BeadMaker to be a short term solution. But it looks good and for ppl who like cleaning their cars BeadMaker is cool for a few weeks of protection and Beading. For less expensive details it works out great on top of Turtle Wax Seal and Shine as well.
@@HaveOneWithHans you speak for yourself right ? Beadmaker has its place, don’t use it so much anymore I made this comment two years ago. I’ve since found better.
Thanks again Sandro for this full comprehensive review. I was about to buy this product....but this changed my mind as i need a good toper for my ceramic protection. They're just so many products on UA-cam videos out there on what we should buy, it makes it hard sometimes to get an unbiased and real review on what we should really get based on our needs. Your video just covered that for me. I highly value your professional opinion and keep up your excellent work !
Thanks for putting this together. I live in southern California and earlier this year it rained like crazy and water was still beading and flying off the paint/glass after several weeks from initial application of beadmaker. I've had good results in my experience w/ gloss/shine, and slickness. Although, longevity is not a strong characteristic, I apply after each wash as a drying aid so it's not a concern. For me it works and align with my expectations. At 18:47 IMO the side you applied beadmaker had a haze vs the other side, which did not have a very noticeable haze prior to applying. . May be it was just the angle.
@Eddie Garcia The same for me. The product delivers an excellent result and the cost is very interesting for the product proposal. For me, the best on the market
Great review. I will never purchase this product again. I have used it over sealants, coatings, and on bare paint and haven’t been impressed by anything other than ease of use and slickness. Great review
This is VERY interesting lol I've been using bead maker for about 2 years, and it works great for me! I use it as a stand alone, and I get great water beading! Beautiful ones! And it's instant, I don't get the slow sheeting seen here.. and I also use it as a topper to a ceramic coating, and again, just the same! I know longevity isn't all there.. but for me, non garaged, I still get solid water beading for maybe 2 months.. thats actually the longest I've gone without a car wash, so I can't say from experience how long it'll last on its own. But I typically wash every week or every weeks at the latest. Just baffles me though, because I really get great results. Great beading, gloss, slickness, deepens the paint color for me. Just recently I've used Optimums Opti Seal, I used turtle wax Ceramic spray coating, and when I used bead maker.. it gave me the perfect, deep and rich color I hadn't seen for the prior products. And it's cheaply priced! I'm actually really happy with bead maker.. but I guess we all get different results. I don't blame him though.. if I got the same results he did here in this video, I wouldn't want it either lol
This video was Wild for me to watch, cuz this is the worst I’ve seen bead maker perform in any review. And I just pulled the trigger a Gallon! When it arrives, hopefully I see better performance than what this demonstrated
Thanks Sandro. Great review however I'd really like to see products compared against a control strip too. (i.e. no product). I've been using P&S Bead Maker for some time. I use it after each weekly wash as a final step to provide some protection for my ceramic coating. i.e. not much more than a quick detailer. It's relatively good value and easy to apply and its lack of durability is an asset when used like this.
Thanks for the review Sandro, i was definitely one of the people requesting this video after i bought some of thid product and was extremely impressed with how it made my paint look and feel. But after a few months I grew less impressed with it and went back to carpro elixir and nova jet on mine and my girlfriends cars. After coating my car this week in cquartz UK I thought I would use this as a topper but after seeing this video I think I might buy some boost instead.
Thanks for the review Sandro Always a joy to look at your channel beadmaker the product that makes the « buzz » all over the planet!!! So just a best QD after a maintenance wash It arrives in my garage as soon as possible
I have a couple spray sealant brands in my car cleaning kit. Bead Maker is what I use on my weekend cars that sit inside and aren’t driven in inclement weather. My daily driven ‘05 Scion xB has all kinds of spray products on the paint. It’s washed maybe once a month with Optimum No Rinse (no hose) and gets topped with either Bead Maker, Turtle Wax ICE or something else obscure that is handy. Thank you for producing all these helpful videos! 🙏🏻 😎 🚙
Tried bead maker and didn’t like it either. It attracts a lotttt of dust and yes it does feel really slick but it didn’t really produce the gloss I was expecting it to produce. Definitely gonna try lustre as a topper instead, thx for the info
2 thumbs up for the stellar review. 1 thumb down for Bead Maker. And I have a gallon. Was coming to the conclusion that in my outdoor environment that dust and contaminants required a bit more effort to remove when washing than other products.
Great review, Sandro! I love how you cover just about scenario of how the product could be used and you put it to the test. TopCoat F11 is another spray sealant that I believe is also overhyped by marketing here in the USA. It would be awesome if you could perform these same tests with their product as you did with BM. Again, great review.
I've had nova jet on both my cars for the last year. I usually put it on once every 3 months but noticed it work far better if I put a maintenance coat of 1 spray a panel after each wash, maybe I need too get boost.. The beading is incredible and lasts so does the shine. I don't think it has great dirt repelling characteristics but as it seems too stick too every panel straight away compared too other sprays I've tried. Just what I've noticed as a weekend warrior. I've got beadmaker coming this week too try the hype lol
@@constantdarkfog49 yeah after the initial application it is lol. Its better as a detail spray or mobile detailer friendly product. There are better, more durable and similarly glossy products to use out there.
I've heard it does not have a good level of durability. I also use Turtle Wax Seal & Shine & it does last longer, guess I'll stay with the Turtle Wax. Thanks
Excellent video Sandro! You nailed it again. I have been testing BeadMaker for past month on 2 black cars. Well I can honestly say I am disappointed in its overall performance. UA-cam reviews have over hyped this product for the past 6 months like it is the second coming of Jesus. Yes its is very slick once applied and car's gloss and shine is amazing for sure! But its durability and water beading is a total let down after a week or so or after heavy rains etc. So yes you have a nice quick detailer that does not bead water so after I am finished with my gallon its off to find a better product in this category. Hats off to the marketing genius that hyped this product. What's the long term success of this product and what's the next over hyped car detailing product?
great video. Really sad beadmaker didnt boost the ceramic coating, been looking for a good drying aid to use on top of my cars every time i wash them that give good results and are priced reasonable enough to be able to use them on a weekly basis on multiple cars
Great review Sandro. I purchased Beadmaker before watching this. When it was delivered and after seeing your results I really hesitated in trying it. In the end I gave it a try. I purchased it for use as a detailer/topper. My car is a dark grey metallic and has Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic wax applied. I do not argue with your results, you are a professional and performed far greater tests than a hobbyist like myself. However I wanted to share my experience. As a topper Beadmaker added a noticeable pop to the paint. I compared panels topped with Beadmaker vs panels topped with Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic detailer and the Beadmaker panels looked better, catching more reflections and adding depth. In my experience Beadmakers hydrophobic performance is worse than Hybrid Ceramic wax and NXT sealant. I can’t tell yet whether using it as a topper has any negative effect to the underlying paint protection. It strongly attracts dust to the paint. More so than any product I have used. However, after it cures this effect seems less pronounced. Thanks again for the great content, really appreciate your method.
I'm still thinking of ordering it soon mainly for gloss, and they made a video saying if you have dust to use the purple one they have I think it's called paint gloss or something like that since it has like a negative charge or something like that it should help reduce the amount of dust your car gets
your videos are seriously the best. unbiased, real world testing. i love them all so much. meanwhile you have clowns on youtube like pan, jimbo, wilson, and other clowns who put out biased reviews with poor testing or zero testing.
Excellent review. Thanks for taking the time to make a video on it. I have not bought into Bead Maker and your review just adds to me not wanting to try it. Maybe they should call it sheet maker or slick maker. One thing is that Jet is pretty darn impressive. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Greats review! Lucky I have not put my money for one yet. Water behavior was a bit disappointing and they don’t really last long but it’s slick shine for sure.. I found carpro ech2o mix with reload work much better and cheaper as top coat or drying aid after wash.
@kenocucum I also use this recipe(2 oz of CarPro Reload, 2 oz of CarPro ECH2O and 20 oz of distilled water). It is excellent ! But the effects of these products (BM, Reload, C2 ...) when applied in a good ceramic coating always seems the same to me. An increase in brightness and a smooth surface. For the detailing who likes to always be with the car clean and bright, they serve well. No surface is left free of dirt or grit after a week of outdoor use. Maybe someday there will really come a miracle product. For now, the industry will produce dreams..
Great review. I just finished my first bottle of Beadmaker. I applied it over a menzerna power lock sealant. The Beadmaker was super easy to apply, smells amazing, and had a nice slick feel, just like you described. But after watching your testing, it clearly underperforms in all other categories. I'm going to try something else next time. Thanks for the great content.
I believe the thought that you need to over load the paint with Beadmaker started with Matt at Obsessed Garage. The 1st time he tried it out he was having issues with it and ended up having to use a ton of product. In a later video he said the problem was with the towel he was using to apply Beadmaker, he said it was a old towel and it was hydrophobic and just pushing the product around and not absorbing it. After his 1st video the hype train started and everyone else that was "reviewing" it just repeated what Matt in his initial video and the thought that you need to use a ton of product was spread like wild fire after that.
s2kologist yes they are the biggest pusher for BeadMaker too. If the product was expensive i would say it was to sell more product... but not the case. So i really dont know why its done that way.
@@Jeeper1378 cool thanks for the clarification. What I have seen is if one of the big channels says something tons of the small channels just repeat it even if they did no testing. That's how things get spread.
I purchased this a couple of months ago after all the hype on UA-cam etc. When i used it it went on really slick but used nearly half a bottle, a week later i applied a second quick coat. A week after that it was completely flat, i won't be using this again. I have now tried Meguiars Hybrid ceramic and applied it as directed and did a second coat a week later with the spray on rinse off method. That was more than a month ago and it is still going strong and i used less that 1/5 of a bottle.
Thanks for this review! I really enjoyed it. Thumbs up from the netherlands! My experience is the same with the slick feeling but i couldnt really test its durability on my daily driver. Thanks again for this intensive tests.
Good review of a popular coating, Bead Maker is one of my go too products. It's a pleasure to apply & does a nice job. Super smooth finish with great gloss. Thanks
Funny my experience was almost exactly the same! Love using the product, but don’t see the benefit of using it on my clients cars. Don’t mind using it on the work car as it gets a clean every 2-3 days. I got some Shine All at the same time and I’d say I was more impressed with that than bead maker. Thanks for your work mate
Everyone's results of beadmaker have been interesting after watching a few video's and reading the comments. I personally love it and don't have any issues with longevity because I use it as a drying agent after every wash which is every two weeks on my daily driver , the longest i've left it is probably a month because of the rain pattern we've had here in South Australia coming into winter and other commitments but it's still performed beautifully . I have used Nova Jet and Luster as well , Luster was definitely a favorite too.
Paul Reichelt it sure is nice to work with hey. I’m in Tas but it’s been exceptionally dry here, so I’m interested to see how it performs now winters here
Lol. Sandro, your disgust with this products performance, shines through in this video. I bought 2 gallons, when it first came out. I don’t even use it anymore. I’m excited to try jet, but right now, I just installed CSL/ExoV4 on my daily. Let’s see how that goes.
Thank you! Bead Maker has poor hydrophobic properties and lackluster durability. It shouldn’t be looked at as anything more than a quick detailer and that’s it. I have no idea how it’s gotten so much hype. I’m glad to see proper detailers with channels finally show this instead of all the glorified car washing channels hyping something with no experience to back their claims. Good job, man!
Definitely agree. I just don't get how the hype managed to out weigh the performance for so long. Good on P&S for the capital injection from it, I guess.
Sure would be nice to see you and Brian from Alex Detail do some kind of long distant collaboration. You and Brian are two of my favourite channels. You’re both very informative and professional
This is an honest review. I've used bead maker and it does not bead water well. Yes it is very slick to the touch and to me that's the best trait of bead maker. Durability is poor. Other youtube reviews hypes the product giving it a false review and making people buy. Great job doing your own test and not sugar coat. Obsessed Garage on UA-cam is trash. I watched a video of a guy washing a m3 wheels like he's scared of it. No effort and he's just pokes the wheel hoping it'll be clean just by him touching it.
This is not a good analysis of Bead Maker and here is why; First of all Bead Maker requires an 8 hour cure time. Even though you stated a 24 hour cure time, all your tests are "spray on, wipe off and immediately do the test" You are not giving any time for curing. You also stated that the hydroscopic test determines how contaminates would not stick to the car followed by how badly the water sheeting test was - again just after you sprayed on Bead Maker without allowing the cure time. However the bottle slid right off - this does not make any sense - why would a bottle slide right off but not contaminates? The "deepness of shine test" once again was done right after the product was sprayed on and not allowed to cure. I am not saying Bead Maker is super great as it is only $38 per gallon but you do need to follow the instructions on all the tests (allow time to cure) before presenting that the product is no good.
Great review Sandro. I totally agree, you certainly don't need to saturate the product onto panel, it's not like it's going to soak in or anything. I lightly mist, then a spray one or two onto my MF then wipe in. I do like it but only as a "last touch" detailer after washing, makes my silver BMW look like a mirror. It works well over Fusso Coat and Collinite insulator wax too, no issues..
Beadmaker is great for someone who washes there car weekly and wants to give it the finishing touch. It gives great gloss, very slick however only lasts a week or so. At $20.00 a bottle nothing comes close to beating it for value.
Sandro your reviews are among my favourites mate. We really appreciate how much effort you go to.. I was 50/50 on whether to order this as most other reviews are more akin to advertising which bothers me.
Hi Sandro, this is one of the best in depth testing and honest results compared to other review. Do you think beadmaker is not suitable as a coating maintenance topper? Thanks again Sandro
I feel this was a great test. I personally like beadmaker but i have noticed its short comings. Is there an importer for the jet product in the USA? That stuff looks awesome.
Wow, this has to be THE BEST review I’ve ever watched. So glad I picked up Nova Boost based on your recommendation. Think I need to give Nova Jet a try. An interesting future video may be Nova EVO vs say UK 3.0 and a few other coatings maybe the Gyeon, Gtechnique and Optimum and also to compare EVO to the pro grade coating from Concours. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into providing this amazing content. It is definitely appreciate and the effort you make really shows
Beadmaker is like my kid. Nothing taking it from me .. love it. For me i use as a deying aid/topper. Wash my car weekly so can give to hoots about durability. My car has Opti pro and used as a topper or drying aid Beadmaker does not act like in this vid. It beads rather well?
Car Craft Auto Detailing your review is spot on with what I’ve been seeing with the 6 months plus using it on my 3 vehicles.. and I will leave it there because it does have great use on some applications, just not on my car perfected with UK3.0. Where does Elixir fit in this mix? Nova Boost seems to be exactly what I’m looking for but can’t find it in the US.
Sandro nailed it. I agree with all his findings. Everyone knows my views on Beadmaker, i felt it was one of the most over hyped products I’ve tried. The biggest issue I feel is the name; it doesn’t produce great or spectacular beading. Yes it’s an ok product. But many more are infinitely better. I am currently playing with some HydroSilex which is proving interesting thus far. But to Sandro another fantastic video buddy. You’re a true asset to the industry.
Great video. From all the vids I've seen of beadmaker, its strength is "slickness" and then it seems like it got hyped up for other properties it just doesn't have. Seems to be all sorts of silly application techniques and weather dependant application out there. Those Nova pproducts seem awesome though!
Sandro, you are a rare species and as such we must do our utmost to preserve you. Your reviews are second to none in pare with Apex Detail. How can we support your channel so that you don't become extinct? Same question will go to Brian @Apex Detail. The "others" are just self-promoting themselves and mislead us into spending our hard earned money in products with dubious claims.
Nova Jet and Boost are much more expensive, however they clearly are better performers! I guess I’m going to have to save up and buy some to try on my car. As always, awesome video Sandro! You rock man!
Car Craft Auto Detailing that’s a fair point, I’m going to order a bottle of Boost and try it for sure. I was blown away by the performance of the product on the panels..
in my real world conditions bead maker has worked great. My truck repels dust and dirt like nothing ive used, i have 35in tires that stick out 2 inches from the fenders. For the price its a great buy, however im definately goina try Jet after watching this video
You saved me a purchase that I would have been disappointed with, really appreciate the work you do for us!
same here
Same here. Even if it boost gloss like many claim, if it attracts dust also claimed by many, it would be short lived since it would be covered with dust
Another proper review. One of the best Detailing channels on UA-cam. Great job dude 👍🏻
amen!!
You've saved a lot of people a lot of money with this review. Great job!
Well done Sandro,
Honest Aussie review, that's why you're the stand out in reviews, tell it like it is. you'll be no# 1 in detailing on UA-cam if you keep this up.
Dude, thank you for the hard work on camera and off. You do a proper service to professionals and enthusiasts. Cheers from Canada.
Thank you.
lol
I've been using bead maker for a few weeks and was considering buying a gallon of it.. not spending another dime on it not since this video exposed the social media craze over it. Great presentation of this product and it's competitors!
myself and thousands others watching these product reviews have been planning to buy this product. I only held off cause some few commenters said dont believe the hype and i got doubts.
Hey. Just curious here. If you have already tried it, what were your thoughts on it prior to this video?
at $30 a gallon, it really is a bargain for what it does well, but to compare it to far superior and much much more expensive products is disingenuous, as some hype train reviewers have.
So, thank you for clearing that up too 🙂
This was by far the most comprehensive and best bead maker test and review I've seen on.
Thank you for the video, I always watch them. I really like when the car is clean and beautiful. All the best to you. (translated from Russian)
Sandro you did a great job with this review. Is this the first detailing product where we saw just how influential a few key youtubers and highly organized targeted social media can overhype and sell a product
Have you tried beadmaker and come to the same conclusion?
Eddie Garcia don’t need to, been a consumer in this industry for decades, I recognize the hype machine, but in a completely new medium now
It’s a bullshit hype product that has nearly zero durability and hazes in humid areas. Trust people when they tell you it’s bullshit.
Shoot I just ordered a bottle today after seeing it on AMAZON and watching a review by a pan guy. Everyone on that channel said it was the cats meow. Then I see this and try to cancel my order 😣
I am proud to say that I have resisted the hype train and did not go down the rabbit hole. Great video as always Sandro.
What about CarPro Elixir on coated ceramic? Does it keep the hydrofobics or masks it just like P&S Bead Maker?
Dude its basically a touch up detailer it offers no gloss or protection what so ever. Id use it as a clay lube but thats about it tbh
Wow! Nova Jet and Boost is amazing!
Another great review, super in-depth review. Keep it up mate. 👌🙏
Would you say beadmaker loses its sickness and look after 1 week / 1 wash?
@@KiranPatel-fk1pg after a week it better than paint that lacks beadmaker but not crazy. after a wash itll be gone
Boost is brilliant. Its hydrophobics leaves BM for dead. And its gloss levels and slickness are superior. You get what you pay for.
A solid review as always! Gratz on 50k 👍
Thanks for the review Sandro
Always a joy to look at your channel
beadmaker the product that makes the « buzz » all over the planet!!!
So just a best QD after a maintenance wash
It arrives in my garage as soon as possible
The best Bead Maker review.
I have a couple spray
sealant brands in my car cleaning kit.
The makers actually said initial application to mist panels heavily, then after u can use sparingly. Great video!
2 thumbs up for the stellar review. 1 thumb down for Bead Maker. And I have a gallon. Was coming to the conclusion that in my outdoor environment that dust and contaminants required a bit more effort to remove when washing than other products.
Stev Blatt you might be able to do a hood with that gallon the amount of product you need is ridiculous
Found similar results. I don’t know why Matt Moreman is so in love with it.
Or the sellout, Pan.
Devon Oliver Also, The LastCoat.
Thank you! Finally! I thought I was crazy for not being impressed by Beadmaker!!
It's an excellent sealant, unsurpassed in deep gloss & slick finished surface once cured.
@@constantdarkfog49 yeah after the initial application it is lol. Its better as a detail spray or mobile detailer friendly product. There are better, more durable and similarly glossy products to use out there.
Chuck Pestacchi yes but not durable at all.
I use it on Nova Evo coating as a drying aid, works great
great video.
@@chrisguzman7926 It added gloss for me and works really well as a detailer. Great on wheels too
Beadmaker is suppose to make your car faster and can also be drank in place of kombucha
Can confirm that both are true
Matt Gavin yes faster Beadmaker will make car faster, but if you top it with F11 you will go even faster. True oh so true
your videos are seriously the best. unbiased, real world testing. i love them all so much. meanwhile you have clowns on youtube like pan, jimbo, wilson, and other clowns who put out biased reviews with poor testing or zero testing.
Great content as usual Sandro! I enjoy using bead maker myself as a drying aid. It’s not the best but it’s easy to use. More power to your channel!
Thanks Sandro for an unbiased review on this product. Great work once again.
After his 1st video the hype train started and everyone else that was "reviewing" it just repeated what Matt in his initial video and the thought that you need to use a ton of product was spread like wild fire after that.
s2kologist not correct. Watch the video with him being introduced to BM at the Rag Company. They used a lot of product there.
@@Jeeper1378 oh, did rag company start it?
s2kologist yes they are the biggest pusher for BeadMaker too.
I’ve used Clearkote Quikshine for years and it’s absolutely superb!
Thanks
which coating are referring to?
Bead Maker, it's a protective coating.I apply it over my ceramic coating.
Bead Maker of course
Thanks for your honest review. I got stung. Wish you had of made this video months ago!!
Excellent review and testing...Thankyou...But man that Jet looks amazing
nice work, great video! you should have a million subscribers.
Thanks for the awesome review Sandro! Looks like I need to get my hands on some Nova Jet, that stuff looks awesome
Hey Sandro......just feels like co I get home to when I see your channel.......just perfect....love from the uk 🇬🇧
Forensic detailing channel is a good one aswell 👍🏼
@@jonnybravo3055 It sure is.
Excellent - Very, very interesting & helpful.
Many thanks......all the way from London !
Tks a lot for your efforts! In my opinion Lustre is the best in all aspects. Too much marketing for BM.
Great vid Sandro. I'll stick to Concurs - never lets me down!
#1
It is definitely appreciate and the effort you make really shows
Try Boost over Jet over Lustre, and you'll never use anything else.
We use that bead maker at the carwash I’m at and it does give a good driveway experience for the customer, cons are it’s marketed as a wax
Car Craft Auto Detailing your review is spot on with what I’ve been seeing with the 6 months plus using it on my 3 vehicles.. and I will leave it there because it does have great use on some applications, just not on my car perfected with UK3.0. Where does Elixir fit in this mix? Nova Boost seems to be exactly what I’m looking for but can’t find it in the US.
will stick to carpro and concourse counter products by the looks and a big thank you for doing this vid and all the youtube vids you make
Sandro's done it again!
Thanks for the super informative video. I appreciate the effort you put into your videos. Great work.
Thanks so much, greatly appreciate the support!
Great video. From all the vids I've seen of beadmaker, its strength is "slickness" and then it seems like it got hyped up for other properties it just doesn't have. Seems to be all sorts of silly application techniques and weather dependant application out there. Those Nova pproducts seem awesome though!
Very good and well thought out video. Great job!
For the same price, you can buy a 5L Repco Eclipse Ceramic Polish, its base on SiO2, it will perform much better.
Thank you, Sandro.
in my real world conditions bead maker has worked great. My truck repels dust and dirt like nothing ive used, i have 35in tires that stick out 2 inches from the fenders. For the price its a great buy, however im definately goina try Jet after watching this video
Bobby Wisdom Ah so your the guy that busted my windshield with rocks flying from your oversized tires with undersized fenders, i was looking for you
