Um you get hit with having a restricted firearm its minimum 2 years in prison thats federal time. If its a prohibited firearm your looking at 3-5 thats just getting hit with being in possession

The fact is that the PM should have been investigated by the RCMP years ago for all of is ethics violations and he should be kicked out of office for is over reaction to the convoy.
The RCMP investigates crimes, not ethics violations - d-uh. The Ethics Commissioner does that, and Trudeau was investigated and the findings written up and they are a matter of record. As for "kicking him out of office", the only body empowered to do that is the voters in a free and fair election, and you've had two cracks at that and failed. Oh well. You and the Free-dumb Convoy seem to have a problem with democracy - understanding it, and respecting it.
Imagine getting kicked out of your job for overreacting to something. Would anybody who was camping out in Ottawa be back to work if we could do that?

During the 2yrs of lockdowns the PM and his cabinet acted without any parliamentary oversight. It was a straight up violation of the entire democratic system we depend upon here in Canada.

He is being tried in Ottawa, the city where 75% of residents are liberal and endured the blockade and non stop horn blowing for 30 days. His chances for acquittal on the charges are 0.

@@FodderMoosie Found another what? The judge just declared it a legal protest this week and stated that the police acted under false pretenses because the information used for the basis of their actions wasn't legitimate.
It's not complicated and is staying within the bounds of the law. The PM acted without any type of parliamentary oversight, which is a straight up violation of procedure according to regulations.

They enact harsher and harsher restrictions until they get pushback. That's literally how it works. Public tolerance for draconian measures very much plays a role....
@@Rick-zw9kp umm, ontario had plans for when the restrictions would end months before the protest. And they rolled back the restrictions almost exactly on schedule. So the protests had no impact.
