As Mike has often told his students over the years once you build a Windsor chair, you'll never look at another Windsor the same way. My first reaction is always whether the Windsor is attractive. I then begin scrutinizing the seat and legs to determine the period and region of the chairs origin. I can no longer just look at a Windsor and think that looks great. I have to pick apart every last detail.
Great video!
Thank you so much. This video series is just amazing. I learn so much.
Is Mike still doing new videos????
Again, great history! If nothing else, I'm learning the names of what I like (which is the baluster styles).
Mike: fascinating background/history on the legs of Windsor chairs. Look forward to Tuesdays to see your new video.
Thank you for another video
