Hey dude! Thanks for this video. I installed an Xtrons headunit and I had the same issue where the sound was being pushed to the front and couldn't figure out what the issue was. Your video immediately made sense and I've sorted the issue now. Thank you!!!
That box you have in the video has output and input RCA connections, the one in your link and everywhere else I’ve looked only has the output connection?
I just installed the awesafe unit and it works great except for the rear speakers in my 2008 enclave without premium sound. I fade fully rear with volume all of the way up and still nothing. Stock head unit worked flawlessly.
Does the head unit not have the option of adjusting the relative volume (I don't mean fade) front/rear? Most decent head units do this (My Pioneer does). The OE unit probably did too and you've ended up junking it!
Hi, bought one of these, before fitting try to test it as : use mobile headphone as input to speaker directly sound like 30%, When connected this speaker sound like 10%!!! With my understanding this is correct way to test if not ; why? can you please advise how test it ? Much appreciated
Thanks for your video, I wanted to know how to connect the power supply to the amp? Are the wires the same color? Red for the + and black for the -? My English isn't great, I use a translator and it's not clear where the power wires end up in the video. Thank you!
Hey mate I've got this exact issue in my A3, what kind of mini amp did you use? I cannot find one that is that small and that isn't ridiculously expensive. Thanks!
Hello again, I installed that very adapter, all works now and fixed the issue, I just have one small issue as whenever I turn the key the speakers let off a big thump. I soldered the connections in but I'm not sure what could be causing it. Thanks!
I had the same problem like your but after a few months the speakers use to work sometimes the front ones and sometime the rear speakers until they stoped working…the concern turns on but no sound….what I can do please respond thank you
Hi! Do you think a high low converter could do the same trick? There's a similar video that makes the installation with that. ua-cam.com/video/EUC5tq5dWkQ/v-deo.html Where did you connect the cables of the pre amp? Is there a color for ignition and ground? Thanks!

Actually brought down what was going to speaker without it!!!

Sorry I missed the question. A ground loop isolator will likely resolve the thump

Ignition is red, ground is black. This is essentially a low-high converter as it amplifies the sound from the rear speaker outs
BRO THIS UNIT ITS NOT FOR A3 :) THATS WHY NOT WORKING YOUR REAR SPEAKERS.. :)
