I love how you don’t waste no time getting to the good stuff and each “test” is performed in a timely back-to-back fashion. Another good video brother man 🙏🏼🇺🇸
You sure sold me on one of those rifles that is bad ass love the stock 22 is my favorite to shoot a besides 38 special This is my favorite channel brother!
Just a quick comment. I've shot many .22LR matches outside in all types of weather. If you are shooting outdoors in cold weather you have to keep all .22LR bullets to be used that day inside your jacket to keep them warm. Otherwise cold .22LR bullets will not shoot consistently. This is especially true with semi auto firearms.
I have this rifle with the fluted barrel! I love it, its says to use 40 grain solid point ammo in manual, but I think it's for cycling. Still pretty accurate with the stuff I run! Looking forward to 100' yard results, I zeroed @ 50 myself!!🤘🏾🇺🇲
Indeed, another "really fun video"! Thanks for your great videos -- love 'em all. FYI -- I've been all over the country and the world watching precision shooting matches . . . all the competitors and manufacturers pronounce that Eley ammo "Ee-lee" with a long "e." Course, you can pronounce it any way you like - we'll still love ya!
Just bought a bxr, never researched it,,just went on my lgs recommendation ,,shooting cci 40gr Have not shot it yet at 50. Will pick up some eley maybe a couple of types including 10x,,,,,thanks for this timely video……..
I really enjoy your videos. That being said when shooting 22 LR, every 22 out there you have to shoot at least 5 to 10 Fowler for the barrel to get acclimated to that ammo then shoot your groups and you'll see that your groups will tighten up even the cheap ammo. But Eley (pronounced long "E" L long "e") tenex is a great ammo and my cz457lrp really likes it but I shoot the cheaper stuff squirrel hunting.
I have a BXR Carbon I use for SCSA competition. Bought it earlier this year, 2022. Only thing I've done to it is installed a C-More sight and added a handguard with finger hook to the front. Only 1 misfire all year and it was simple a bad round. I run only CCI Standard velocity ammo as recommended by Bergara. Bergara's website lists suggested ammo and they specifically don't recommend bulk ammo. I recently purchased 2 BX25 mags but have yet to try them. Hope they work well.
You can get a bubble level mounted to you gun. Zero the rifle level on the level with the cross hairs level. Then shoot gun using the bubble level. This will snug up your groups. Next thing is to load 6 rounds. The reason to do this is because most semiautomatics throw the racked bullet differently from cycled rounds. That will also help. Thanks for video.
@@WHOTEEWHO Right. For plinking and hunting this is perfect. I use bubble levels as I competed in Air rifle and air pistol field target matches on the Nationals level. I have compared shooting with the bubble level and not. For me bubble groups are tighter every time. There are many airgun and rimfire benchrest shooters out there that do. This will help some in eliminating the distance of fliers in the group as shooters still cant to some degree with level appearing crosshairs. Both my bolt .22 and 22 Theoben Rapid will do half inch at 50 yards with little to no wind. I haven't produced any sub moa .22 lr at 100 yards as of yet they are 1.25 to 1.5 inch, but I have made several sub moa 5 shot groups with the airgun. If I lived closer to you, I would most certainly let you shoot my airguns. And also some big bore airgun stuff as well. Thanks for the video. I really like your powder burner paper pinching stuff.
You should have tried the thunderbolts by Remington, I believe that you can dress up a 10/22 any way you want but it's still just a ruger. I have a ruger 10/22 and when I had factory barrel and stock I could put 10 bullets in a dime at 50 yard's. Then I got stupid and put on a target barrel and synthetic stock, now lucky to put 10 bullets in a quarter at 50 yard's. I found that the 10/22 are not designed to have free floating barrel that is why they have barrel straps I'm going to glass fill stock to support barrel will get it to shoot eventually
From my experience shooting different manufacturers ammo with different lube is that it takes about 15 rounds to reseason the barrel with the different lube on the bullets. SK/Lapua, RWS and most of Eley use an oily lube. CCI, Federal, Winchester, Remington and majority of others use a waxy lube. I haven't shot any Norma rimfire so not sure what type of lube is used. Going from one lube to the other you'll get eratic flyers until the barrel is seasoned to that lube. I've experienced this with more affordable rimfire's and with my Vudoo V22.
Having watched the grouping on previous videos I couldn't help but notice the tighter grouping on the bolt action, any reason for this or is this normal between bolt/semi auto?
Bolt action rimfire rifles have locking lugs that engage into recesses in the chamber . Semiautomatic rimfire rifles have a flat faced bolt that is held in place by spring tension and do not have locking lugs . Locking lugs make for more positive alignment of the cartridge in the bore of the gun .
Last time I looked Ely Tennex is over 20.00 for a box of 50 if you ain’t squirell hunting or money on the table try the Ely club orange box shoots pretty good cheaper but the tennex shoots better espically in the wind when I bought my tennex when I found it run on a certain machine I bought a case around 1500.00 dollars the numbers will tell you what machine it was run on and try to get all the same lot no need to measure rim thickness on them there there
I have a couple bolt guns chambered with a Ely 5 reamer about the tightest chamber proably is a 52 D reamer but a lot of cheaper ammo won’t chamber in it I have forgot a lot since I had my stroke I would have to look in my logs to be sure ou have to make sure that who chambers it don’t fix you a 22 throater
@@WHOTEEWHO Like my mom always said. More money than brains. I mean one or two mags is fun, but two hours? I just picture them as kids with that one noisy toy that they will not stop playing with until mom finally snaps or she hits the 'cooking' wine early.
Proably got a bentz chamber the Ely really settles down after 10 shots on a clean barrell then don’t shoot no other brand until you’re done with it f you can find wolf match extra will proably shoot as good in it as Ely does they don’t hardly chamber anything tighter in a semi
Good video….When you’re at the range and you hear somebody mag dumping, you can tell they don’t pay for their own ammunition otherwise they would not be doing that
A $600 10/22 that doesn’t shoot much better than a standard 10/22 i cant make space in the safe for. I have some older 10/22’s that shoot just as good. I think I paid $139 for them. The new Ruger 10/22”s are not what they used to be.
I went to a range once only had ear plugs & some guy starts firing ar10 , couldn't communicate with friend or rangemaster..thought my ears bleeding so I left
“A lot of stuff really likes this stuff.” Love it. Thanks for putting in the time. Enjoyable as always.

Appreciate you watching bigtime Artie!
This just is just proof of what we all say. Every gun likes what it likes. GREAT JOB.
Wind gusts can also affect the groupings
Agree 100%
Most useful videos on UA-cam! Keep them coming!!!
Thanks for watching!
I love how you don’t sugar coat anything. The results are what they are, nothing more, nothing less.
Every video that I have watched with both the rimfire and centerfire rifles have shown them to be really great shooting rifles. Good video.
Being a true showman like you are... you saved the best for last lol! Great video!
😝😝😝
Really liking these .22lr videos 👍👍👍. Thanks. Keep em coming.
I usually hate rimfire videos but I love everything WTW uploads!
Can't wait to see the 100 yard test.

Most of the ammo was definitely minute of rabbit, and some was minute of squirrel so I’d be pretty happy ❤️🇺🇸❤️from 🇨🇦
Funny outakes!!! Need more of that. 🤣🤣🤣
These Bergara's are impressive

Good shooting and video.
Love the outtakes at the end.
😝😝😝
Mr Who you do the best rimfire test imo, if you ever get the chance, you should test a cz 512 in 22 lr, that would be a real fun video.
You need to do a “Paul Harrell “ disclaimer..... we are on a range please bear with the gun fire 😂😂
😆😆😆
Lmao, thank you for editing in your intro at the end, frickin hilarious !!!
😆😆😆
Glad we found two that worked! Seems like the rifle like all the ammo a bit better. Maybe a different twist rate!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
Thanks for the very useful information, I’m thinking of getting one .
Bergara rifles are worth the money I really enjoy my 6.5 creed. I had my money on the Norma tac 22 .,

Subsonic hollow points would be a good test in both your b14r and bxr,
Winchester CCI, Fiocchi, Eley subs

Good old English ammo 😎wait for it

Ooh Rah 2100 is becoming prime time for me
Right on
How do the triggers feel between the bolt gun and semiautomatic?
I just picked one up from buds in ky haven't shot it yet hoping i found my new squirrel getter.
I'd really like to see the 100 yrd results!
. 22lr would have to be the most finicky when it comes to choosing ammo,

@@victorwaddell6530 Thank you, from an ignorant Brit.
Cool video. Thanks
I just need you to say it once…..”damnit Bobby” :)
It's been two or so years now: have you had any issues with the light primer strikes I've heard about and if so, how did you fix it?
I wonder if the lapua has an elley head stamp
Nice shooting
I might have to get me one of those guns... thank you sir :)
Sweet lil rifle they make a smooth sweet rifle. With the right ammo i mean.
I've never had Eley .22 ammo, but I had heard that it was dirtier compared to other .22s.
Thank you
Eley, surprise surprise
👍👍
Thank you sir!!
Thanks for watching Dennis
nice!!!!
my old Marlin definately isnt light but she still shoots (just have to resight it in again next time)

Those mag dumpers and there hola hoop.
For a stupidly accurate 10/22 clone try a Kidd 22 rifle
How is that gun been holding up so far in regards to durability?
Never had a problem
"Afternoon everybody! This is about to be a really loud and frustrating intro!" 😁Somebody had some cash to burn blowing through mags like that.
Yup and they were young people. Mag dumped for almost 2 hours straight

have yo u hd mag problems? really considering one of these because I couldnt build one for the price I could get one of these from my local dealer.
I do not recall any mag issues, no

I do not. Sometimes film at a private one. Sometimes public

Nah
Amazing results! Totally took me by surprise. Another great video! C’mon w the 100yd results 🎲 🎲
See if you can get your hands on a BMR to compare to the B14!
Well we know where all the ammo is going you tubers
😆😆😆
Nice looking weapon. I bet you could’ve had some better groups if Wanna Be Rambo wasn’t out there too.
So hopefully yr not in Facebook jail to long
Hopefully you get probation lol
Those mag dumps sure raised hell on the nerves. At least the rich person doing all the shooting wasn't on your left side😀🇺🇸.
