Bergara BXR - 100 Yard Groups (Sub MOA)
Adam, afternoon! I saw Paul this morning. Took some of collection to him, if interested? My SAR-9 9mm pistol, Russian Sks, M1 Garand, and my 24" Heavy barrel 1/7 AR. A very affordable Ar back 4 years ago. And with Ammo. Have fun , if you have time. Thanks Randy Smyrna
I'm very happy to be here
Going to look at the bolt action Bergara a little closer for 22LR.
Back when I was younger and part of a youth shooting team I shot a lot of eley out of my 10/22. That stuff would produce phenomenal groups even in regular old off the shelf field rifles.
I remember when I got my first 10/22 I was 8years old when I got it and it was the gun that started my collection.
Then I got a Springfield 1903 bolt action it was converted to a 6.5-06 with a heavy barrel and Sporter stock then there are the other ones and at the age of 21 I was sent to prison but I gave everything to my brother and I know it went somewhere good.
I own the bergara bmr and those bergaras are absolutely awesome
Someday it would very cool to find a Remington model 66 nylon stock 22 and test for accuracy. With a modern scope...love to see a video!
Damn good shooting I loved the show dang another one you knocked out of the park
Love the Eley Edge all black ammo, they got the little bump on the end of the bullet for increased accuracy, was told it’s Olympic grade ammo
Known as boat tail ammo. And yes it helps stabilize the bullet increasing accuracy.
I personally didn't know they made ammo like that for rim fire but I'll to grab some now. Thanks for sharing.
It’s a tuned 10-22 action. Bill Ruger was a genius engineer.
It's about to be a really fun video 👍
Going to check the ammo test video
You may or may not know this but when measuring your groups, you can preset your caliper to you bullet diameter and then zero it. You can now measure outside to outside of your bullet holes with the caliper “subtracting” the bullet diameter out. I measured groups the same way as you for a long time until someone taught me that.
Nice shooting and review of the ammo.
I think you should do a 22lr Shoot out with all your 22lr's shooting at a Doritos chip at 100 yards 3 shots from each one that would be a really fun video 👍✌
👍👍💥💥💥
Yep and using iron sights to boot.
shoot the center out of a clay at 100😁😁 I used to do that with my 17hmr
Eley is great ammo, nice shooting!
Sweet Shoot’en Rig. Awesome video bro.
See if you can find the SK Long Range Match ammo. My 10/22 target cuts those groups almost in half with those. Great shootin!
I have a deck cannon with a 1/2" barrel, it's just a 8" piece of 2 1/2" high quality solid bar stock with a base piece of 1" plate and some 1" plate obtuse triangles to mount it at 45 degrees angle. I only fire it on the 4th using black powder and a hot glue/sand plug, it's a showstopper for a tiny thing.
You ever fire a small cannon on the show or like those things?
I remember he shot tannerite a few times. Very exciting!
Now I got to get my mitts on some Eley! Another great video! Thank you sir!
I like seeing those full auto CO2 (.177cal) BB pistols and rifles. The Pietro Beretta version is nearly an identical clone to the real deal, all metal and is full blowback. 18 shots in under 2 seconds. The rifles use 2 CO2 cartridges, hold more rounds, are quite accurate and shoot about 6 shots per second. I also like every video of real guns, never miss them.
Air guns are so much fun. I love my ruger impact elite in 22.
That’s pretty good shooting there big boy! Trying to decide which gun to get. One of the CZ guns or a Bergara? Going to have to have one!
For a Remfire Id go CZ, but for centerfire I’d opt for Bergara. At least that’s what I did. Can’t go wrong either way tho.
Nice shooting
That song at the end is catchy af! What's the name of the song?
Very nice rifle there. Great shooting too brother! Thanks for sharing WTW!🤘🏽🤘🏽👊🏽🇺🇸🤘🏽🤘🏽
Those are some good groups with a 22LR
Deadly
Pretty nice rig + sweet shooting one.
Probably, (if it's new), it will print tighter groups after shooting several boxes of ammo have 'seasoned' the already accurate barrel. VERY nice shooting with such a featherweight rig, though!!.
🏆
Good shooting. Eley has some good shooting ammo. Have you tried it in your CZ 457
In the house 🏡
Nice rifle and really good shooting 👍👍
I have one of these. Great rifle and fun. I don't shoot it much now your Making me going to get it out.
Great groups for a .22. I do like Bergara, they make nice firearms.
These are super accurate guns. I have had up to 3/8 of an inch at 50 out of mine with eley contact. At 100 yards you can pick off shotgun shells at will. Had a few jams with cheap ammo but any lead nose standard velocity was fine. If you are watching and thinking to get one they are a great option for a premium 10/22.
Thank you
You can see the bullets hit the target! I thought it would be shooting much faster than that.
100 yards is quite the distance. Being a light bullet the resistance would be greater slowing down the inertia. Also the angle of cameras focal point and shadow of incoming round creates almost mirror effect. He has a lot of content with other calibers and you can sometimes see a bullet in flight or even vapor trails. Good stuff, entertaining and insightful.
Dammit I missed it again !
Love it! 😀
Excellent group! That's light enough recoil that little Sophia might like to give that a try!
🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
Well done 👏 nice group 👍😎🙏
Came for the BXR review, subbed for the cool song at the end lol
🙏🙏🙏 thanks for watching!
Me and my boys made a 10/22 with a trigger job polished action a hart barrel the thing would run anything and groups where amazing nice buils
Wooo hooooo Who Tee Wooooo !
Top dog at any range 😎🇺🇸
Anybody going too mention being able too see the boo-laats in flight thru the camera ???? ,, pretty neat !!!
That’s quite impressive. I need to get back out on the range
Bergaras are sweet guns for sure . I named my B14 ' Sofia ' after the actress Sofia Vergara .
Beautiful Rifle
Compare the diff kinds of 22LR ammo in clay blocks.!
💯
That’s a lotta zoomies for that little bing bang
🔥🔥🔥
Hi there very nice shooting.
No surprise there I do have a bergara b14 hmr in 308 Winchester and shot at 100 meters out 2 shot in the same hole so bergara barrel I do believe are in another level I head that ex military guys put together rifles in bergara factory is why are so good are the box
Some boolats could be seen before they hit target! Or am I hallucinating?
You are in fact...not hallucinating. They can be seen in flight.
I would love to see more videos in this
This looks like the semi-auto .22 I've been looking for. So used to shooting my old 10/22 with peep sight I could never put an optic on it. New 10/22's aren't as high of quality. These look great out of the box.
Wow! I can see the bullet go into the target
Great video! Nice rifle and good shooting!
I would really like to see you pick up a good quality bipod and shot with it on any caliber.
I got Eley Semi-auto Precision Benchrest ammo to shoot a 5 group, 5 shot-per-group average of 1.326 MOA. I think it's possible that Eley Tenex might go between 1.0 MOA and 1.2 MOA. We'll have to see. Rifle only has about 200 rounds through it... I got lucky with it as it has not had one failure to feed, fire or eject that wasn't due to bad ammunition. This is with BXR 15-round mags.
Can you do a 100 yard video with that same ammo but out of a bolt action rifle. I'm thinking the semi auto function of those rifles really affect the accuracy of the shot.
Just a thought.
Awesome
really contemplating on this thing. can't build one for the price I can get this thing for
Those are excellent groups for rimfire!
Good grouping for a .22 at 100 yds!!
Thats a nice shooter ! And if you averaged all 3 groups it is still awesome at 1.326"
Is that a rotary magazine?
Yes
Laser beam...
Nooo I missed it
Love the rifle and good shooting how’s that black hound scope
Scope is good
Not too bad shooting! How far were you away when you nailed that whitetail with one shot? I think you said you were using the 7mm. And that song at the end of your videos. If that's you singing, you got a good voice!
Deer was 130 yds
@@WHOTEEWHO Thank you Sir!
My Savage Mark II shoots about like that with CCI Standard Velocity. I believe I got lucky with it.
Just may be my next .22. 🙂
The rifle is a pretty good shooter . Mine is about the same with the metal barrel
Please don't tease the greater audience with terms like "bench chamber" and not say what it means. Share the love!
Carbon fiber barrels are notorious for kicking the first round or two, especially with center fire cartridges. I don't know hoe much it influences the Rumford but it's possible that you can get even better groups with a steel barrel. Accuracy has always been a trade off for weight with CF barrels but for hunting, the discrepancy is nominal, at best (worst). For a deer/squirrel rifle like a .30-06 or .22lr, the weight is a fair trade unless you're competing, then you'll never get the ultimate tight groups. But, as far as demonstrating the ammo's capabilities, it did just fine.
How expensive/available are these rifles? I've also been looking at the Savage 26700 bolt with the Accu-trigger which is supposed to be a tack driver, for the price range. The semi-auto doesn't come with the trigger system.
P.S.
On the *back* of your 10mm vs. 45ACP T-shirt. you need to put
" ...Decisions, decisions. " 😉
How about doing a 22 magnum ammo test?
Want a box of federal gold metal match to try in it?
I’m always feeling froggy with my 22s.
That really slows down at a 100 yards. You could actually see the bullet hitting the target.
It's a 22... have you shot one before? Lol
How is this gun holding up durability wise?
Never had a problem
What state ya from brotha?
👍👍👍👍👍
Good shooting WTW
10/22 Target rifle
Typically a semi-auto is just as accurate as a bolt action, the problem is the people firing them. They get in a hurry because they can just squeeze the trigger instead of aiming first. They're in lies the problem with semi autos. Myself, I stop and wait five full seconds in between each shot and count them off to make sure I have my reticle where it's supposed to be before I squeeze the trigger
I went to the gun store today set on bringing home a Ruger American Rimfire. It did not turn out as planned. The Ruger takes 10/22 mags and either the magwell was cut too small or the mag was out of spec. The magazine was stuck in there. Neither I nor the store clerk could remove the mag without some kind of pry tool. Shame on you Ruger, poor workmanship and poor quality control cost you a sale. I ended up taking home a Bergara BMR instead. I hope it shoots as good as this BXR. :)
Very nice
😎
You aren't measuring your groups at max dispersion.
Lol. It is funny you can see the bullets in flight
Still a dead rabbit at that distance
