Wow, what a fun and energetic piece of art you have made! Thank you for sharing your process of making this quilt! So fun to see it come together with all the steps. It really came together with all the additional pieces to create something so unique!
I enjoyed the explanation of your thought process - it's a window into your beautiful creative spirit! That's an amazing quilt that is presented so well in your video.
I am so glad to see it all...I loved seeing how you went about making your decisions...and loved how it turned out. You could call it African Sunset. It reminds me of a place I used to like to go to see the sunset...and all the wild life was active then. I sure look forward to what you do next.
A waste of Ankara fabric. It was beautiful as is. Such a waste of Ankara fabric ( not African) There is an art to making sure the fabrics compliment each other, way too much orange IMO.
Thank you for your opinion. That is what quilter's do. Take perfectly good fabric and cut it up to make something else. I really like orange. 🔶🔸🔶 I understand that some of this fabric is made in the Netherlands, but it uses African designs. I have been trying to research this since someone else told me I should not call this African fabric, but I am having trouble finding sources. Can you give me some sources I can look up?

African Sunset is a great name, Rose. Your name does evoke a great mood with sunset and wildlife.
