Happy that those two foxes found each other and the effort the rescue lady puts in to make their life better. Very unhappy that there are so many breeders, wild animal dealers out there who find their customers. More laws against this!

I’m so glad that Winky found her way to this sanctuary and that she has a wonderful companion. She may be dominating Dobby, but I think he’s helping her trust their caregivers.

So glad you have a place for them. Wild animals should never be in homes as pets!! They are WILD and meant to be free not captive and bred for pets. So glad these two have each other and someone to take care of them as they should be since they would not survive in the wild thanks to these horrible breeders trying to make a buck.

Adopting exotic animals is a BIG business. Has nothing to do with saving them.
@@billjoe39 I googled it. Easy peasy. Animal Tracks is a woman-run, non-profit sanctuary in California for exotic pets that are rescued from horrible conditions---usually the illegal pet trade.
Animal Tracks does not sell these animals. The sanctuary is their forever home, safe from abuse and neglect, and they work to educate the public about these animals that are never supposed to be pets.

Wow what a great job you're doing for these naturally wild animals. I don't understand people who "adopt" a wild animal and expect them to be tame like domestics without socializing them. You have to do it for dogs and cats too! Anyway, that's why there are so many rescues like this wonderful rescue we see here.

Foxes are actually canines like our pet dogs however they’re also wild animals.

I love the ears! When I saw this fox for the first time about 15+ years ago, I desperately wanted one! I did my research, found out that they do not make good pets - my conscience also knew that it was ethically wrong to make a wild animal my pet like this. I ended up getting a Papillion dog instead! Just in love with the ears! That sweet angel baby was my sole dog for 14 years, and she passed away in June 2022. I had a dream about her 2 days ago. She visits me all the time. ❤

If I was fennec fox, I would rather be at your sanctuary than in the wild. There's just so much good fun and services, like a fancy hotel.

They are not furbabies, they are wild animals that have been deprived of a life in the wild. They are not dogs or cats.

YES, we all get that they are wild and do not belong domesticated, but the love given to them by their caretaker DOES make them her own perfect 'furbabies' despite their wild status. You're not the only one who sees the wrong in what happened to them, but they ARE precious in the eyes of so many of us and who think this woman is a saint for her efforts in rescuing and giving them quality of life.

They don't understand that wild animals can be made familiar with and friendly with people, but that doesn't change the fact that they are still a wild animal.
