While doing it fast is fine, if the video is to be educational, it would be better to slow it down a bit. For instance... A better close up of the actual piece where it fastens to the actual screen would be good, very good!
Looks helpful a lot mine is the same model almost brought it off Mercari broke in shipping the weird seller mailed in a bubble wrap envelope that’s it so it’s his fault for experience I’ll try to repair but if it fails I’ll just ship it back with the case closed
Thanks for the tutorial! So it's not possible to install a 1080p display in one of these? You have to replace it with the same display? I've got an HP 15-db0047wm
It may be possible but very hard. All the parts made for these laptops are specific to that model. The mounts, screw hole sizes, screw types, connections, and SoC chips are all model specific.
Hi great vídeo, My laptop is a HP 15-gw0012la do You know how many pins My screen got? Because i wanna replace it, but i can't find info about the screen.
I think the model number you have is not correct , even though u see 15z-db0xxx , look in different parts of the laptop on the back the x’s should have some number instead . Look at different parts if you couldn’t find it , remove the lcd from laptop look on the back for part number . But I am certain laptop model is different .
Take the bottom cover off and unplug the battery, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to drain any power left in the power delivery system and capacitors.

Late help but usually the screen model number is on the back if you remove it.
Does the hp 15 db series all have same screen connectors? the db series all look the same xD
no make sure you are ordering your exact model number. I had to learn this the hard way.
Can you send me the link to where you got the screen please ?
