A fantastic game I used to play when I was 8. Unfortunately the cartridge stopped saving. Now I got it repaired and works perfectly , I’m playing it already.
I had this game when it came out. I couldn't figure out the "Penumbra" puzzle, and there was no internet back then to help. Thankfully, my mom, for some inexplicable reason, had an entire wall devoted to an encyclopedia. I looked in the "P" section, and there was the definition! It was the only time in my life an encyclopedia helped me solve anything.
@@mynamejeff4642 by combining magical elements - when you combine them (select more then one in start menu) you get new powers. You can also climb up to that entrance by finding certain item (hand wheal) and using it in the right place (on the wall). That would fill the room with water so you can swim trough that door. :)
I never realized just how versatile the Thunder spell was until I saw this video. Hitting switches way up high and completely obliterating bosses with it. Nicely done.

Alex, Great Job!!! I never knew this game existed until the other day. A Highly difficult game indeed which I tried out on the Playstation 4, but you made it look so easy. If you had to guess, how long did it take you to become that good?
Еще 1 годная ( и самая для меня лучшая) игра на Сегу это Landstalker. Немного длиннее и сложнее нежели Light Crusader, но сюжет лучше. Советую спидрануть, будет интересно, но в 1 час вряд ли получится уложиться)
I beat that puzzle part and you just need to drink the wine red potion, to walk normal right is right and left is left. This is a hard game trust me this alex is a professional at this game its going to take trial and error to pass many parts! and some youtube walkthrough on certain areas.
One puzzle on the 4 Th floor was too hard it for me, when left was right and right was left taking the bomb to the door, it stop´the game play. great game though even though i couldn't pass that part!

I was stuck on this myself. If you're still playing the game, you need to defeat the spider boss on this floor to get the cog which allows you to raise the water levels. Then you can just swim up there. Hopefully this helps someone 🙏
The music is great and the magic system is cool. However, I can’t figure out how to get out of the first town. My guess is that I maybe have to water the empty row of crops, but I’m out of money. I bet the instruction manuals probably had hints for that. Edit: Were you supposed to randomly push gravestones around, or did an NPC have a hint? I knew the graveyard had something to do with it, but I didn’t have enough hints to figure out what. I tried to earthquake the graveyard thinking I could disturb the dead and nothing happened. Same with air and lightning.
Just played this and I spent almost 40 minutes going to each NPC multiple times. The oracle mentioned the graveyard, and someone in the Inn did too. I noticed an odd cutout on the ground in the graveyard and started walking around smacking every tombstone multiple times. Its only because my joycon has left drift that I accidentally bumped into the right tombstone to trigger the switch :P annoying for sure but it has its charm. But yea there was only a hint that their was evil in the graveyard
The fortune teller in the castle mentions something is happening in the graveyard, and some of the towns people will mention seeing strange figures in the graveyard. When you investigate the graveyard, you'll see that one of the graves has drag marks to the side of it, as if it had been pushed through the dirt there.
I managed to do it you can sometimes jump after using shield so in the air when you activate the shield spam jump button and you’ll get it at some point

This game was highly underrated. I picked it up as a curiosity after it originally came out and loved it.
