It’s actually insane how much lore there is in this game and how much effort it took to put into it like the tomb kings are one of the oldest besides lizard men

Really do with they added at least 1 or 2 more of the legendary lords in the tomb king trailers, would of been sick to see khalida recking havok or hell even arkhan showing up to kinda of rival them and come from the back of the dark elves.

Skaven are part of the base game. Hell, most of the stuff is either free or fairly cheap. It's only the base game itself that's expensive, and it's on sale right now at 66% off on Steam. That's just a little over $21 total that you'd have to pay.

Reptiles and drow are the hardest factions to fight against when you are skaven.
Drow? You mean Druchii, right? Druchii are Warhammer Dark Elves, Drow are D&D.

@@ToBeSchooled similar but not same. Drow are rules by a matriarchy, weak in sunlight and live underground in the Underdark. They are prolly the more famous of the two though.

@@ToBeSchooled Both were inspired by the Melniboneans from the Elric Saga by Michael Moorcock(yes that is his real name), Warhammer borrows a lot from Moorcock. But the name Dark Elf comes from Norse Mythology, it referred to dwarfs(dwarves is a Tolkien thing)
Tomb Kings definitely one of my faves.

On my Empire save on Hard I have made so many bulking before Chaos forces arrive, that now they can't even leave their hellholes and get into the continent because I have like 4/5 full stack armies in ambush state just waiting for them to come and get me haha 😂
I don't know, I play on legendary and yet use several mods to make chaos stronger, i just don't understand why you and many other players complain about them, I mean if you are new or not a hardcore player you can switch to easier difficulties.

@@agoodboy2489 Yes but even back in the days of the medival total war they managed to do something. It's just lazy. Just like never fixing their AI, making sieges so simple and not even trying to create a good econemy. I love these games but this studio really is wasting their potential for a few shiny features.
@@agoodboy2489 managed to fight a druuchi army on a ravine map, thus funneling their units to a narrow gap, making their cav useless. slaughterd the whole army on my shields and arrows. and only at what i belived was the end did i noticed their general.

I’m guessing you ran out of ammo, because no Lord can stand up to punishing focus-fire. Even Malekith will drop after that type of rain.
Assuming you have enough missile units, that is. Three sisters and you’re fine.
And, agreed, almost all LLs are powerful by lore. It’s only a shame the Everchosen isn’t one of ‘em.

Man, you should really try it if you have a pc. Warhammer II is in a fantastic place right now in the franchise, with plenty of dlc variety to jump into if you enjoy the base factions a lot! I definitely recommend!

As a new Warhammer 2 player: What DLCs should i buy?

The ones relevant to the race you are playing if it adds new units and the dlc races you want to play, simple as that. ex: I got all the dlc save vampire coasts because zombie pirates don't do it for me, though maybe one day will pick it on a sale..who knows.

@@KyleAlexis Well, they can technically... It's complicated.
WH 2 is a standalone game that sorta acts like an expansion for WH 1. You can't play the factions from WH 2 in WH 1, cause they weren't designed for that game.
You CAN technically play WH 1 factions in WH 2, but you need to own both games in order to do this.
Owning both games unlocks the "Mortal Empires" campaign in WH 2, which lets you play any faction that comes with the base games and any factions you buy through dlc.
@@KyleAlexis All human factions except the recent dlc added to WH 2 are exclusive to WH 1.

I like historical titles and I remember the first time that I saw warhammer 1 trailer I was like wtf is this its going to be a train wreck but now I'd say warhammer is TW best title without even a slightest doubt.
