You probably don't know this, Tetra, but... As far as I know, the game stopped receiving updates. Illumix stopped updating the game after something happened, and from what I know, he hasn't picked it back up again. The last update, from what I hear, was in February of last year. Edit: Before anyone asks (even tho I got a notification about someone asking me already, but strangely didn't find a comment), I'm going to clarify that I'm talking about FNAF Special Delivery, NOT War Thunder. Illumix stopped updating FNAF Special Delivery.
They should’ve added a feature where you can make a custom animatronic by combining body parts like Freddy left leg, foxy right leg, springtrap body and so on to make a animatronic
I could be wrong, but I think Lefty’s workshop animation was also found in the files of the game. But it doesn’t seem like that they’ll be joining anytime soon, since it seems Illumix has abandoned FNaF AR
There is one message coming from one of Illumix employees, however it's not 100% confirmed to be from real employee. But it says they plan to return to game for 2024-2026 And Illumix updated their site 4 months ago with 3 new videos from FNAF AR SD which means it might be true
8:50 is literally SO INCREDIBLY SIMILAR to the Silver Shamrock commercials that played in Halloween III: Season of the Witch. During that movie, an ad played on TV every day counting down the days until Halloween, and the children watching were instructed to all wear their Silver Shamrock branded masks on the final day. Every child who did as told ended up being unalived. Look up the jingle and you’ll see how incredibly similar the two are. “8 more days til Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, 8 more days til Halloween” for example, are actual lyrics in the film
Despite the absolutely horrific microtransactions, the game featured some of the best animations and sfx ever in the franchise, not to mention tons of new voice lines. It's honestly a shame because it feels like we'll never get anything that'll give us the amount of fanservice AR gave us. Literally, AR Mangle's voice lines are some of my favorites in the entire franchise, but it is what it is.
It may not be talked about a lot but I REALLY hope FNAF AR returns! The only thing I hate is the leveling up system of the game where it takes FOREVER to get enough XP.
Try the Gamejolt mod Forsaken AR: Darkest Delivery! They added some skins before their first cpu, LEFTY. They also added entirely new events, and all animatronics on your map are usually randomized during one. The mod even utilizes the scrapped Purple (shock) Eyes for Scraptrap! (Leveling is also faster I think)
It's sad that such good art direction was wasted on this game that is now abandoned. Even though kinda censored, Springtrap's promo render from Special Delivery is one of my favorite images of him. Some of the models are better than even Steel Wool's modeling, for mobile game of all things
Seeing how FNAF AR got me into this franchise in the first place through a mutual friend, it’s saddening seeing the fate of the game; I was genuinely hoping that the game would survive a bit longer when that last December update rolled around, but apparently not..
I don't think it would be a stretch to say this game feels like the dev company tried getting easy bucks off the franchise, but thanks to Scott's care at the time for anything FNaF (except Funko merch and books even back then) they didn't succeed at making a P2W game, which in turn got them unmotivated to do anything for the game except mostly monetization stuff and some good-will content like the Circus or Plushtrap, up until they just straight up tried getting their name as far as possible from it. Such a shame, really. At least it's still playable
the hurricane fact has an extra layer to it. see, it mentions specifically death of children, and hurricane, Utah is where the Silver Eyes trilogy of books take place, along with it being a possible candidate for where the games take place. so when it says that hurricanes are not the leading cause of death, it goes one step further and insinuates child murder is.

Sadge, glad you gave this game some attention. Was looking forward to how much potential was wasted. The last update made the game worse by making every encounter take way too long, and then they abandoned it after ruining it. I have imagine all the wonkiness with Security Breach's development messed with a lot of the plans they had for the game

I by random chance learned that there are theories that Lefty wasn't destroyed in Fnaf 6. People:"Lefty, you barely have any solo-relevance and in lore, you were basically only created to die." Lefty:"Nah, I'd win." The reason I mention this is that...well, Lefty didn't win over here and it is funny to make jokes about how the devs of AR just randomly decided to run and literally everyone else involved with FNaF just decided to ignore it like it was part of the plan.
As much as I understand everyone's criticisms for the ar game theirs 2 things I don't think enough people give it credit for, the voices are great especially freddy who's voice is far more interesting and unique then the voice he had in the scrapped showtime song or foxy who's already great voice and personality get a few more cheeky lines to give him a but mire of a sense of humor and also the skins like freddy frostbear or burning springtrap who's designes just work for some reason, and technically ar is responsible for creating a entirely new character as although I listed freddy frostbear as a skin he actually predates the skin system in game amd is thus technically a separate character who happens to use the same ai but actually has no voice lines
FNAF AR Special Delivery may be the most forgotten FNAF game but personally I love the many skins (The Dark Circus event skins are my personal favourites) and the emails set up the lore for VR Help Wanted. I just wish they never quit Special Delivery without saying a word and just left everything like it didn't even matter. They basically tried acting like it never existed (which of course is impossible) but its just a shane that they did this to the fans. Its a huge disappointment.
theres a common bug where the appstore says u cant get it because ur android version is too new, but u just need to delete ur playstore cache and it will let u download it. also if u get an APK for it (or forsaken AR, a modded version of it) those should work on most modern android phones idk about apple

Here's a little thing that was unused. Chocolate Bonnie used to have no eyes. No idea why it could have been a rendering issue but it was there
