Lol, we literally saw that like 10-20 clones can take a jedi. Divers deploy with 24 soldiers per team and take on full armies starting at like level 5 dives.

Both vader and starkiller, even though he isn't canon 😢, did pull star destroyers out of orbit and survive. The question is could vader pull 4 super destoyers out of orbit before a hell diver hits him with a rail gun or calls an eagle strike or orbital bombardment.

There are two things, more than anything, that make Super Earth a serious contender up to the point where Scifi authors are making stupid shit just to break the powerscale. 1: Helldivers can deploy near instantly from one galactic rim to the other. The transit takes seconds. Travel around a world is equally fast. And this is _just_ a minor troop carrier. The DSS, a space station the size of an average US state, can also transit instantly. The only limit is imposed by Super Earth because they want to make sure their investment isn't damaged from endless warps. But that thing can transit 6 times a day from one end of the galaxy to the other. 2: Helldivers are deployed in four man squads at maximum, with 24 total soldiers available for any mission. Divers are regularly deployed against, and victorious against, entire armies. Yes, a lot of that comes from the strategems wildly increasing their effective might, but Helldivers can instantly deploy to a world with thousands of teams, and utterly eradicate resistance in a week. And I don't want to hear about how there's no space combat, the DSS has ordinance that it uses to shoot down the enemy in space, in order to cancel out some of the reinforcement rate. Because of the sheer _speed_ at which divers, the SEAF, and the DSS can deploy on worlds and cull resistance, the Empire would never be able to catch their main forces. They'd only ever be stuck on settler cleanups. And Divers deploy in all environs, facing down enemies of every size, and consistently win. Having the advantage in tonnage doesn't matter, because hyperspace isn't fast enough. Having the advantage in tech doesn't matter (Super Earth WILL steal everything that isn't nailed down (samples), and start replicating and improving immediately, and those improvements will be made available relatively quickly). Having the troop number advantage doesn't matter, Divers regularly deploy against enemies that are more numerous and more well armed and armored and trained. Helldivers are the human Zerg Rush. And they are given the absolute freedom to deploy _anywhere_ they choose, which means you can't even account for their orders and predict where they'll drop. And divers are absolutely down for being shot at ships. I'll dive a goddamn Imperial Star Destroyer, I don't care. Break that shield and shoot me at the enemy, Democracy officer. Can't destroy every world. And every single Super Destroyer has the ordinance to level the surface of a small moon.

I really like this debate, but it does reveal the biggest issues Star Wars has. George had several levels of cannon, the movies and shows being the highest level. The comics and legends were of the lower forms of cannon and while George did know about them, he didn't police them. So in turn writers just did whatever they wanted and went hog wild. Legends and the books/comics (and the games to an extent) are so over the top and OP, its nuts. When Palpatine dies in Return of The Jedi, George meant for him to die. The books (and disney in extension) brought him back. I personally feel that Legends and books/game stuff should not be brought up when debating how Star Wars matches up, even against itself.
the problem with legends not being considered is there are a ton of characters from legends that are briefly mentioned to be cannon but none of the surrounding stories are cannon. a good example would be darth bane being cannon but the trilogy of books about him aren't, so we're left speculating if we can consider the stories surrounding cannon characters as cannon or not. if you include the existing stories as cannon then about 1/2 the old republic legends content is cannon due to the connection to bane(revan and kotor mentioned in the books as a leading factor to the creation of the rule of 2) leading into kotor, kotor 2, and the old republic games being brought into consideration because of this one cannon character not having a set story confirmed as cannon. in a situation like this I would consider anything that doesn't directly contradict the hard cannon(movies/shows) that exists before the main movies as plausible cannon while excluding any legends content that exists from the time of the hard cannon and beyond as unlikely to be considered(there are probably a few you could use but again it would have to not contradict, and example that i would say could be both considered and not considered is the republic commando books/game, since we know the characters exist in cannon and there's nothing saying the events of the game of the first 3/5 books aren't events that happened, but books 4 and 5 are now a contradiction to events of the clone wars show). yes some of the feats in legends are a bit extreme but in context of the video it's empire time period so the only possible scaling from legends would be increasing palpatine's power(although i disagree with some of the main arguments for people over hyping them) but even then it's not a power increase but would be more of a breadth of power upgrade.
as a not quite expert on star wars, a few points I both agree with and disagree with: blasters are most likely shooting lasers at light speed, as with the cannon schematics given for the standard rifle used by the empire the only way it would function is if it's either a focused light beam or a particle beam(light is more likely, but with the effects described particle would be higher odds, but a focusing crystal in them makes it physically impossible) so jeid/sith blocking them means a ftl reaction time at max but it's more likely the minor precognition they have letting them react. I mentioned in a reply to another comment that I believe that the only legends content that should be considered is old republic content that doesn't contradict main cannon from the movies/shows, with the majority of legends from clone wars onwards being excluded with minor exceptions for small instances. for imperial armor I'd imagine it's going to be better than the armor used by the clone army, meaning it's going to be both blast and kinetic impact resistant, with more specialized forces getting superior equipment. I'm going to avoid some of the story from republic command books 4 and 5 due to them contradicting the events of the clone wars but I'm going to use a few statements on equipment used during imperial transition since it's unlikely to be inaccurate to the major cannon. In imperial 501'st(republic commando book 5) the commando units that stay in service through the transition are issued armor with similar specs to their katarn class armor used during the clone wars, with the main differences being upgraded helmets and more resistant armor, but losing the wrist mounted vibroblade in exchange. using this comparison it's likely they would be able to shrug off small to medium explosives(there is an instance in the book where members of the squad are in a building explosion, with those near the epicenter dying but those near the exterior having minimal injury) and they take multiple blaster shots with little to no effect other than mild soreness afterwards. It's unlikely that standard armor would be to this level, but it's plausible they would be resistant to smaller explosives and they are generally resistant to at least a few shots with minimal issue, with it taking what looks like 5-6 shots before they are downed in the opening of a new hope. another upside I believe the imperial forces would have depending on what era of the empire we're comparing to, is the lack of a need for verbal communication or commands that helldivers use, as clones and earlier stormtroopers were capable of using blink sequence commands to navigate their hud and could use it to request support, or at minimum they have closed circuit squad radio with noise seals on their helmets to prevent their voices from being heard by those nearby, meaning they could communicate at a squad or battalion level without any super earth forces being able to overhear/intercept their comms. a lot of what was said trying to scale Vader and Palpatine is a bit off, as some of their feats are a bit murky. going off of strictly events spanning from the rise of the empire up until the ceasefire and the formation of the imperial remnant after the battle of jakku(not going to go into legends) the main feats Vader has are interesting. Vader has shown he is capable of at best pulling a star destroyer from orbit or at worst guiding a crashing destroyer(whichever you want to go with) as general maximums for his force ability to move/lift things, and his range for force use is at minimum one system away depending on how far you believe he was from hoth at the start of empire, where he used the force on the captain near hoth while he was in a separate system. for Vader's durability the highest feat I am aware of is him surviving a large complex blowing up with him inside, with the explosion causing large amounts of damage to the planetary surface around the facility and causing volcanic eruptions from exposed magma from the depth, with Vader surviving with minor injury. Palpatine is iffy since he gets extremely lowballed or extremely higballed depending on how much you choose to use legends to scale him. for this I'm going to consider the Plaegius book cannon, since a large amount of it lines up with statements made in cannon. Palpatine is said to be the most powerful sith in history by several sources(george is the main one, but he also says a lot of things that contradict what is shown, so i'm going to go feats over statements for most of this), with him showing that he is superior to every sith in major cannon with the exception of Vader who he admits would be more powerful than he could imagine, but with his shown feats compared to the pseudo-cannon of the old republic the statement is brought into question. personally I believe that while it is believed he is the strongest, that is only going off of known information during his time, with a statement from Plaegius stating that much of the sith legacy passed from bane down the rule of 2 was lost when a potential apprentice turned over many of the artifacts and sith holocrons to the jedi several generations before he took the mantle, with that statement likely being added to explain some of the gaps in shown feats in different eras of the galaxy. scalingPalpatine during the imperial era would put him above Vader in power, but likely lower in durability. as you said in the debate, it's likely that if the two of them were defending a planet from invasion they would hold out for a while, but against entire fleets they wouldn't do too much. I'm unaware of exactly how effective super earth vessels are in combat, but the isd and isd2 would probably compare relatively well to most of their ships, with them excelling in capital ship combat but being susceptible to attack from fighter squadrons who make it past their air wings. I would love to try and scale durability but there are several inconsistencies in reliable methods to scale them, with the main one being that there is no consistent explanation for hyperspace, with the two explanations either being it's ftl travel or it being entering into a separate dimension to shorten distances, with the light speed one being the best to scale durability since it means an isd can take a strike from an asteroid at ftl speeds with minimal damage other than loss of communications arrays, and the other leaving no consistent way to judge overall durability. since I'm unaware of how well a super destroyer would fare other than both having comparable firepower when considering orbital bombardments I can't say for certain how well the navies would do in combat, but depending on which is superior it would lead to that side's victory as the foot soldiers are generally comparable.
I still feel that blasters being faster than light is not shown well at all. I we see regular ppl shown to dodge the bullets. Also the fact they we see the rounds flying thru the air show that they are not light speed. As if the bullets were FTL we wouldn't even perceive them

52:30 problem with Operation Cinder, is that those weapons were brought into place AFTER the fall of Palpatine and the second deathstar. I dont know him personally, but i know Rouga likes to put them in at their strongest. Helldivers at their strongest, empire at their strongest. With Palpatine and Vader dead, the Empire is cripplingly weakened, and there's infighting with higher up imperials for the power vacuum, making them even weaker

I personally think that the SEAF star navy would have a very difficult time against the Imperial Navy due to multiple factors. The main three being how shield tech works in Star Wars and how they're mounted on ships, most standard Imperial navy vessels being outfitted with Ion weapons that disable electronics and the interdiction tech used in vessels like the Interdictor-class cruiser. And of course, the SSDs and Death Star are giant space borne craft that have tough shields and are covered in weapons.
I dont know where you found those fanatic star wars fans, but they have huge imagination. Sidious, even in legends, is not powerful enough to destroy even a planet, let alone a star system. The Force users are not casually ftl, but what they have is very fast reflexes, not because of speed, but because they can sense attacks like seconds before they happen. Regarding the navy, the armies and the air/space force, we havent seen enough of the capabilities of the helldivers universe to know if they have big enough and strong enough ships to challenge the sheer mass of the star destroyers, the super star destroyers and the interdictors. What we currently have seen is the equivalent of the frigates and the ships the rebellion used. Army wise the helldivers could be equal to the mandalorians in experience and capabilities, as they use similar tactics and armour (not the beskar the post imperial armour). The trump cards of the empire are the death star/s and the ability to protect whole worlds with their shields. If the empire is on the offensive, it would be either a cold war type fight, where neither side uses their strongest weapons and just use their best weapons as a scare factor to not escalate the war, or total war where both sides are massively weakened, If Super Earth is on the offensive, their naval suppremacy is debatable until we see their big ships, but their armies, even the SEAF, would crush the storm troopers with either light or medium casualties, IF they could land on the planets. The Empires ability to shield fortress worlds and blockade whole solar systems with interdictors would pose a huge problem for any invasion force.

Vader, as much as i love him in the comics, dies immediately if he lands on the ground because he is gonna get bombed to hell and back (pun intended). Either as a pilot or as an elite strike squad with inquisitors as backup maybe. Palpatine on the other hand would never risk getting killed so i dont see him engaging in any combat unless he is being threatened directly. If he did engage he would go the way of the inquisitors because he is old. He no longer has the same agility and stamina to fight as he did in the prequels/clone wars. All he has is a lot of Force abilities that only scale at the maximum to a super destroyer, maybe a couple more. Anything more he would destroy it and then collapse

See this is way better than the 40k vs Helldivers. Not bogged down in numbers and shit. My two cents on this is that helldivers definitely do beat the empire. Empire is divided and corrupted. Troop to troop the super earth dominates, dictrines seem more flexible especially their elites, and super earth equipment works well against the empire that's geared towards a different kind of enemy.

The Galactic Empire has its paramilitary-[The Stormtroopers, and The Stormtrooper special forces/and or the different types of Stormtroopers, etc.] Which are 26 million strong-[who can ACTUALLY aim, have good tactics and know what they're doing, overall], There's The Empires army which is in the millions, if not billions, and or trillions-[The last two, need to be looked over again], There's the navy which, have the same lasers that can basically hit and burn through like plasma, ontop of that, the ships are pretty durable. Then, there's The Royal Guards and the other Guards that have relativistic to atleast ftl reaction times-[They can swat the blaster bolts which are literally light beams. But, I like to think that the light beams are plasma-light hybrid beams] Oh, and The Shadow Guards can channel the force into them which would have-had boosted their physical stats overall, and even then, they're REALLY STRONG. Now, yes, The Helldivers armor are as durable as the super destoryers. But, if something traveling at the speed of light hits them. Then, The Hell Divers inside would have-had been turned into nothing more; But, bone and flesh. Oh, and ontop of that, Emperor Palpatine has force storms that can attack fifth dimensional structures along with being you know, able to be fifth dimensional from them. On top of that, Darth Vader is stated to be on par if not stronger than Palpatine in most cases causing both of them to be both as powerful as Dragon Ball Super's Goku. In short, I know a lot more. But, then I'll be here forever. But, I'm just going to leave this here to say that The Helldivers could try. But, in the end. They'll fail overall, no that's not enough, they'll just fucking die right off the bat Oh, and I almost forgot. There's, The Shawken Device, The Eclipse(s), The Death Star, and the MANY other different types of super weapos that would wipe The Helldivers off of the map in an instant, especially The Shawken Device which in fact creates another big bang that destroys the whole entire universe. So, in short, The Galactic Empire takes the victory. Hell, I would even say that Star Wars/Star Wars Legends beats Warhammer 40k with this information

Super Earth literally owned the entire Milky Way up til nine months ago. The human population is so out of control that you have to apply for permission to have sex. Not "have a child", just _sex._ I just logged in to check the stats. There have been 3.879 billion divers killed since rhe game launched, that's canon, it's in the lore. Meanwhile, there have been 138.96 billion enemies killed. That's a KD of 36:1 Star Wars is not winning on numbers. And heroes are single units, incapable of winning entire wars. Also, no living being in starwars is FTL, stop power scaling, you're bad at it.
A bit of a outside factor I don’t think you guys mentioned is that the rebel alliance would most definitely help super earth. They could give them weapons, technology, intelligence, and ships. And super earth is able to adapt incredibly quick Edit: and another thing it can’t be vice versa either cause the illuminate, terminids, and automations shoot humans on sight. Illuminate and terminids not gonna risk another 1st contact with humans and for automatons it’s just straight up beef
So they argue about Palpatine and Vader soloing the Helldivers but their main weapon is useless against kinetic weapons and lightning which Helldivers have armor to protect them from. The Jedi suffered large losses on Geonosis against droids and then were nearly wiped out by clones with weapons they can defend against. Stormtroopers arent able to beat Helldivers and the SEAF in standard battles. The only problem i can see is we dont know the extent of Super Earth's space combat abilities compared to the Empire.
Haven't made it through the intro yet, but I would have to say Super Earth would win. It's not a matter of power scaling, it's logistics. Super Earth is basically filled with billions of teams of rogue heroes able to do whatever needed to be done. Super Earth FTL tech is canonically instantaneous. Star Wars FTL takes time. Helldivers are in and out before the Empire can catch up.
Probably expand this post as it goes along: I cannot agree with either the Stormtrooper armor being unvulnerable nor it being weak to kinetic impacts. For example the Red Guards of Palpatine carry Frag grenades, which are relatively common as are regular explosives. Frag grenades would not exist if they weren't effective, armor so weak against kinetic energy would not exist with explosives this common. As a baseline the Stormtrooper armor would give similar kinetic protection as current day armor at minimum. Why doesn't Palpi destroy Solar Systems? Well he can't. How do we know? *he has no use for a Death Star if he can*. Similarly the Star Destroyers cannot destroy the surface of a planet, as that would also make the Death Star useless. If you can destroy everything on the surface of a planet already it should be more than enough to keep systems in line same as with a Death Star. Also Palpi did use his Force Storm thingy in the last Disney movie to down all the Rebel ships. I'd argue that if Palpi feels like he's losing, he'd start using that. Of course I also argue that he cannot be this powerful as it would make the Death Star useless, especially since he could have pretended to have a working planetary destruction beam by using some weird ship design but it's actually him doing it. No ridiculous costs building the DS1 and 2, people still believe he has a planetary destruction weapon. Also no risk of someone using it against him, which would be a reason he'd never ever build anything like a DS1 and even kill anyone who could design one. Palpi would survive the Helldivers blowing up his planet by virtue of his body dying and his spirit inhabiting a new body. Unfortunately we've seen that this isn't instant, it takes time. And in that time (almost 2 decades or more in Disney canon) the Helldivers would conquer the Galaxy and find his clone facilities. If they don't find them he has so little powerbase to go on that any attempt will fail (he failed the first time) and he'll eventually run out of places with clone bodies.

The Stormtroopers look like they are struggling at the beginning but not exactly dying by the dozen, the Ewoks get shots of them getting murdered and mourning the dead. Only when the AT-ST is taken by Chewie and he goes to town does the tide truly turn.
so a few counter arguments to your points: so while palps can't destroy star systems, he is able to do serious damage to planets via force storm in legends, but during empire era he's not at the level to do that. isd can do significant damage to a planet's surface with sustained bombardment, with the main reason they don't just do this all the time being because they prefer targeted strikes instead of indiscriminate fire. there is a main theory that the reason the escape pod in a new hope wasn't shot was because the imperial navy was stingy with it's ammunition and wouldn't waste a shot on an uninhabited pod while they shot down all the inhabited ones. the main purpose of the death star was to be a symbol of fear, since knowing the empire could destroy your planet with minimal difficulty would reduce the chance of uprising. there are several imperial leaders who opposed the creation of the death star, with the most notable being thrawn, since there was little to no point of having it other than as a symbol. I would argue that it wasn't a force storm in ep 9, or at least not a true storm given how much more powerful the legends iterations of force storm are shown to be, but if we do consider it to be one then it would be interesting to see how well it would effect super destroyers since even in the movie it does nothing more than act as an emp to the ships(again, why i don't consider it a true force storm). I think you're using the existence of a super weapon as meaning that palpatine couldn't do something a bit weirdly. I will forever argue that palpatine is weaker than what people try and legends scale him to, but he's capable of doing quite a bit more than what you're giving him. adding to this, disney is over reliant on "big laser go brrr" compared to showing anything actually interesting. while possible for palps to survive planetary destruction, it would depend on how pissed off he is at the time since every instance of sith surviving death is due to extreme hate or anger(maul, malgus, vader) with the sole exception being disney's version of palps.

Titanium alloys are almost always stronger than pure titanium. Much like steel is always stronger than iron and carbon (steel is an alloy made of iron and carbon). Besides different armors are made with different combinations of titanium alloy. And armor specified to resist electric attack attacks is not going to be the same one that resist acidic attacks. There is no way to truly tell how strong any of the armor is. Titanium would just be a baseline durability.

There are two things, more than anything, that make Super Earth a serious contender up to the point where Scifi authors are making stupid shit just to break the powerscale.
1: Helldivers can deploy near instantly from one galactic rim to the other. The transit takes seconds. Travel around a world is equally fast. And this is _just_ a minor troop carrier. The DSS, a space station the size of an average US state, can also transit instantly. The only limit is imposed by Super Earth because they want to make sure their investment isn't damaged from endless warps. But that thing can transit 6 times a day from one end of the galaxy to the other.
2: Helldivers are deployed in four man squads at maximum, with 24 total soldiers available for any mission.
Divers are regularly deployed against, and victorious against, entire armies. Yes, a lot of that comes from the strategems wildly increasing their effective might, but Helldivers can instantly deploy to a world with thousands of teams, and utterly eradicate resistance in a week. And I don't want to hear about how there's no space combat, the DSS has ordinance that it uses to shoot down the enemy in space, in order to cancel out some of the reinforcement rate.
Because of the sheer _speed_ at which divers, the SEAF, and the DSS can deploy on worlds and cull resistance, the Empire would never be able to catch their main forces. They'd only ever be stuck on settler cleanups. And Divers deploy in all environs, facing down enemies of every size, and consistently win.
Having the advantage in tonnage doesn't matter, because hyperspace isn't fast enough. Having the advantage in tech doesn't matter (Super Earth WILL steal everything that isn't nailed down (samples), and start replicating and improving immediately, and those improvements will be made available relatively quickly). Having the troop number advantage doesn't matter, Divers regularly deploy against enemies that are more numerous and more well armed and armored and trained.
Helldivers are the human Zerg Rush. And they are given the absolute freedom to deploy _anywhere_ they choose, which means you can't even account for their orders and predict where they'll drop.
And divers are absolutely down for being shot at ships. I'll dive a goddamn Imperial Star Destroyer, I don't care. Break that shield and shoot me at the enemy, Democracy officer.
Can't destroy every world. And every single Super Destroyer has the ordinance to level the surface of a small moon.
oh that's cute, yeah just so you know a victory star destroyer can destroy entire planets in less than 12 hours, now imagine what a imperial star destroyer can do. super earth ain't winning this one

I really like this debate, but it does reveal the biggest issues Star Wars has. George had several levels of cannon, the movies and shows being the highest level. The comics and legends were of the lower forms of cannon and while George did know about them, he didn't police them. So in turn writers just did whatever they wanted and went hog wild. Legends and the books/comics (and the games to an extent) are so over the top and OP, its nuts. When Palpatine dies in Return of The Jedi, George meant for him to die. The books (and disney in extension) brought him back. I personally feel that Legends and books/game stuff should not be brought up when debating how Star Wars matches up, even against itself.
the problem with legends not being considered is there are a ton of characters from legends that are briefly mentioned to be cannon but none of the surrounding stories are cannon. a good example would be darth bane being cannon but the trilogy of books about him aren't, so we're left speculating if we can consider the stories surrounding cannon characters as cannon or not. if you include the existing stories as cannon then about 1/2 the old republic legends content is cannon due to the connection to bane(revan and kotor mentioned in the books as a leading factor to the creation of the rule of 2) leading into kotor, kotor 2, and the old republic games being brought into consideration because of this one cannon character not having a set story confirmed as cannon. in a situation like this I would consider anything that doesn't directly contradict the hard cannon(movies/shows) that exists before the main movies as plausible cannon while excluding any legends content that exists from the time of the hard cannon and beyond as unlikely to be considered(there are probably a few you could use but again it would have to not contradict, and example that i would say could be both considered and not considered is the republic commando books/game, since we know the characters exist in cannon and there's nothing saying the events of the game of the first 3/5 books aren't events that happened, but books 4 and 5 are now a contradiction to events of the clone wars show). yes some of the feats in legends are a bit extreme but in context of the video it's empire time period so the only possible scaling from legends would be increasing palpatine's power(although i disagree with some of the main arguments for people over hyping them) but even then it's not a power increase but would be more of a breadth of power upgrade.

as a not quite expert on star wars, a few points I both agree with and disagree with:
blasters are most likely shooting lasers at light speed, as with the cannon schematics given for the standard rifle used by the empire the only way it would function is if it's either a focused light beam or a particle beam(light is more likely, but with the effects described particle would be higher odds, but a focusing crystal in them makes it physically impossible) so jeid/sith blocking them means a ftl reaction time at max but it's more likely the minor precognition they have letting them react.
I mentioned in a reply to another comment that I believe that the only legends content that should be considered is old republic content that doesn't contradict main cannon from the movies/shows, with the majority of legends from clone wars onwards being excluded with minor exceptions for small instances.
for imperial armor I'd imagine it's going to be better than the armor used by the clone army, meaning it's going to be both blast and kinetic impact resistant, with more specialized forces getting superior equipment. I'm going to avoid some of the story from republic command books 4 and 5 due to them contradicting the events of the clone wars but I'm going to use a few statements on equipment used during imperial transition since it's unlikely to be inaccurate to the major cannon. In imperial 501'st(republic commando book 5) the commando units that stay in service through the transition are issued armor with similar specs to their katarn class armor used during the clone wars, with the main differences being upgraded helmets and more resistant armor, but losing the wrist mounted vibroblade in exchange. using this comparison it's likely they would be able to shrug off small to medium explosives(there is an instance in the book where members of the squad are in a building explosion, with those near the epicenter dying but those near the exterior having minimal injury) and they take multiple blaster shots with little to no effect other than mild soreness afterwards. It's unlikely that standard armor would be to this level, but it's plausible they would be resistant to smaller explosives and they are generally resistant to at least a few shots with minimal issue, with it taking what looks like 5-6 shots before they are downed in the opening of a new hope. another upside I believe the imperial forces would have depending on what era of the empire we're comparing to, is the lack of a need for verbal communication or commands that helldivers use, as clones and earlier stormtroopers were capable of using blink sequence commands to navigate their hud and could use it to request support, or at minimum they have closed circuit squad radio with noise seals on their helmets to prevent their voices from being heard by those nearby, meaning they could communicate at a squad or battalion level without any super earth forces being able to overhear/intercept their comms.
a lot of what was said trying to scale Vader and Palpatine is a bit off, as some of their feats are a bit murky. going off of strictly events spanning from the rise of the empire up until the ceasefire and the formation of the imperial remnant after the battle of jakku(not going to go into legends) the main feats Vader has are interesting. Vader has shown he is capable of at best pulling a star destroyer from orbit or at worst guiding a crashing destroyer(whichever you want to go with) as general maximums for his force ability to move/lift things, and his range for force use is at minimum one system away depending on how far you believe he was from hoth at the start of empire, where he used the force on the captain near hoth while he was in a separate system. for Vader's durability the highest feat I am aware of is him surviving a large complex blowing up with him inside, with the explosion causing large amounts of damage to the planetary surface around the facility and causing volcanic eruptions from exposed magma from the depth, with Vader surviving with minor injury. Palpatine is iffy since he gets extremely lowballed or extremely higballed depending on how much you choose to use legends to scale him. for this I'm going to consider the Plaegius book cannon, since a large amount of it lines up with statements made in cannon. Palpatine is said to be the most powerful sith in history by several sources(george is the main one, but he also says a lot of things that contradict what is shown, so i'm going to go feats over statements for most of this), with him showing that he is superior to every sith in major cannon with the exception of Vader who he admits would be more powerful than he could imagine, but with his shown feats compared to the pseudo-cannon of the old republic the statement is brought into question. personally I believe that while it is believed he is the strongest, that is only going off of known information during his time, with a statement from Plaegius stating that much of the sith legacy passed from bane down the rule of 2 was lost when a potential apprentice turned over many of the artifacts and sith holocrons to the jedi several generations before he took the mantle, with that statement likely being added to explain some of the gaps in shown feats in different eras of the galaxy. scalingPalpatine during the imperial era would put him above Vader in power, but likely lower in durability. as you said in the debate, it's likely that if the two of them were defending a planet from invasion they would hold out for a while, but against entire fleets they wouldn't do too much.
I'm unaware of exactly how effective super earth vessels are in combat, but the isd and isd2 would probably compare relatively well to most of their ships, with them excelling in capital ship combat but being susceptible to attack from fighter squadrons who make it past their air wings. I would love to try and scale durability but there are several inconsistencies in reliable methods to scale them, with the main one being that there is no consistent explanation for hyperspace, with the two explanations either being it's ftl travel or it being entering into a separate dimension to shorten distances, with the light speed one being the best to scale durability since it means an isd can take a strike from an asteroid at ftl speeds with minimal damage other than loss of communications arrays, and the other leaving no consistent way to judge overall durability. since I'm unaware of how well a super destroyer would fare other than both having comparable firepower when considering orbital bombardments I can't say for certain how well the navies would do in combat, but depending on which is superior it would lead to that side's victory as the foot soldiers are generally comparable.
I still feel that blasters being faster than light is not shown well at all. I we see regular ppl shown to dodge the bullets. Also the fact they we see the rounds flying thru the air show that they are not light speed. As if the bullets were FTL we wouldn't even perceive them

52:30 problem with Operation Cinder, is that those weapons were brought into place AFTER the fall of Palpatine and the second deathstar. I dont know him personally, but i know Rouga likes to put them in at their strongest. Helldivers at their strongest, empire at their strongest. With Palpatine and Vader dead, the Empire is cripplingly weakened, and there's infighting with higher up imperials for the power vacuum, making them even weaker

I personally think that the SEAF star navy would have a very difficult time against the Imperial Navy due to multiple factors. The main three being how shield tech works in Star Wars and how they're mounted on ships, most standard Imperial navy vessels being outfitted with Ion weapons that disable electronics and the interdiction tech used in vessels like the Interdictor-class cruiser. And of course, the SSDs and Death Star are giant space borne craft that have tough shields and are covered in weapons.
I dont know where you found those fanatic star wars fans, but they have huge imagination. Sidious, even in legends, is not powerful enough to destroy even a planet, let alone a star system. The Force users are not casually ftl, but what they have is very fast reflexes, not because of speed, but because they can sense attacks like seconds before they happen. Regarding the navy, the armies and the air/space force, we havent seen enough of the capabilities of the helldivers universe to know if they have big enough and strong enough ships to challenge the sheer mass of the star destroyers, the super star destroyers and the interdictors. What we currently have seen is the equivalent of the frigates and the ships the rebellion used. Army wise the helldivers could be equal to the mandalorians in experience and capabilities, as they use similar tactics and armour (not the beskar the post imperial armour). The trump cards of the empire are the death star/s and the ability to protect whole worlds with their shields. If the empire is on the offensive, it would be either a cold war type fight, where neither side uses their strongest weapons and just use their best weapons as a scare factor to not escalate the war, or total war where both sides are massively weakened, If Super Earth is on the offensive, their naval suppremacy is debatable until we see their big ships, but their armies, even the SEAF, would crush the storm troopers with either light or medium casualties, IF they could land on the planets. The Empires ability to shield fortress worlds and blockade whole solar systems with interdictors would pose a huge problem for any invasion force.
Also forgot about the Inquisitors... Uhhhhh.... they get slaughtered but they each take a whole max reinforcement squad with them. Vader, as much as i love him in the comics, dies immediately if he lands on the ground because he is gonna get bombed to hell and back (pun intended). As a pilot he is very useful as he can reach into the minds of other pilots, but i think thats all he is gonna be useful for. Either as a pilot or as an elite strike squad with inquisitors as backup maybe. Palpatine on the other hand would never risk getting killed so i dont see him engaging in any combat unless he is being threatened directly. If he did engage he would go the way of the inquisitors because he is old. He no longer has the same agility and stamina to fight as he did in the prequels/clone wars. All he has is a lot of Force abilities that only scale at the maximum to a super destroyer, maybe a couple more. Anything more he would destroy it and then collapse

See this is way better than the 40k vs Helldivers. Not bogged down in numbers and shit. My two cents on this is that helldivers definitely do beat the empire. Empire is divided and corrupted. Troop to troop the super earth dominates, dictrines seem more flexible especially their elites, and super earth equipment works well against the empire that's geared towards a different kind of enemy.

I love how they're saying vader and the emperor can pull a few Star destroyers out of the sky. That's nice but they can't pull all of them out of the sky while defending the planet since you know the helldivers will be they're firing on them.
The only difficult part for star wars would be the space battle. But the hell divers still have the advantage in numbers. Like you said hundreds of millions if not billions of helldivers and there are over 12 million ships. Compared to the thousands of super destroyers.

I do REALLY LIKE this video. Although, as a die hard Star Wars/Star Wars Legends fan. No, Super Earth does NOT beat The Galactic Empire. The Galactic Empire has its paramilitary-[The Stormtroopers, and The Stormtrooper special forces/and or the different types of Stormtroopers, etc.] Which are 26 million strong-[who can ACTUALLY aim, have good tactics and know what they're doing, overall], There's The Empires army which is in the millions, if not billions, and or trillions-[The last two, need to be looked over again], There's the navy which, have the same lasers that can basically hit and burn through like plasma, ontop of that, the ships are pretty durable. Then, there's The Royal Guards and the other Guards that have relativistic to atleast ftl reaction times-[They can swat the blaster bolts which are literally light beams. But, I like to think that the light beams are plasma-light hybrid beams] Oh, and The Shadow Guards can channel the force into them which would have-had boosted their physical stats overall, and even then, they're REALLY STRONG. Now, yes, The Helldivers armor are as durable as the super destoryers. But, if something traveling at the speed of light hits them. Then, The Hell Divers inside would have-had been turned into nothing more; But, bone and flesh. Oh, and ontop of that, Emperor Palpatine has force storms that can attack fifth dimensional structures along with being you know, able to be fifth dimensional from them. On top of that, Darth Vader is stated to be on par if not stronger than Palpatine in most cases causing both of them to be both as powerful as Dragon Ball Super's Goku. In short, I know a lot more. But, then I'll be here forever. But, I'm just going to leave this here to say that The Helldivers could try. But, in the end. They'll fail overall, no that's not enough, they'll just fucking die right off the bat
Oh, and I almost forgot. There's, The Shawken Device, The Eclipse(s), The Death Star, and the MANY other different types of super weapos that would wipe The Helldivers off of the map in an instant, especially The Shawken Device which in fact creates another big bang that destroys the whole entire universe. So, in short, The Galactic Empire takes the victory. Hell, I would even say that Star Wars/Star Wars Legends beats Warhammer 40k with this information

A bit of a outside factor I don’t think you guys mentioned is that the rebel alliance would most definitely help super earth. They could give them weapons, technology, intelligence, and ships. And super earth is able to adapt incredibly quick

We didn’t forget. It’s faction versus faction no outside help.
So they argue about Palpatine and Vader soloing the Helldivers but their main weapon is useless against kinetic weapons and lightning which Helldivers have armor to protect them from. The Jedi suffered large losses on Geonosis against droids and then were nearly wiped out by clones with weapons they can defend against.
Stormtroopers arent able to beat Helldivers and the SEAF in standard battles. The only problem i can see is we dont know the extent of Super Earth's space combat abilities compared to the Empire.

It's not a matter of power scaling, it's logistics. Super Earth is basically filled with billions of teams of rogue heroes able to do whatever needed to be done. Super Earth FTL tech is canonically instantaneous. Star Wars FTL takes time.
Helldivers are in and out before the Empire can catch up.

I cannot agree with either the Stormtrooper armor being unvulnerable nor it being weak to kinetic impacts. For example the Red Guards of Palpatine carry Frag grenades, which are relatively common as are regular explosives. Frag grenades would not exist if they weren't effective, armor so weak against kinetic energy would not exist with explosives this common. As a baseline the Stormtrooper armor would give similar kinetic protection as current day armor at minimum.
Why doesn't Palpi destroy Solar Systems? Well he can't. How do we know? *he has no use for a Death Star if he can*. Similarly the Star Destroyers cannot destroy the surface of a planet, as that would also make the Death Star useless. If you can destroy everything on the surface of a planet already it should be more than enough to keep systems in line same as with a Death Star.
Also Palpi did use his Force Storm thingy in the last Disney movie to down all the Rebel ships. I'd argue that if Palpi feels like he's losing, he'd start using that. Of course I also argue that he cannot be this powerful as it would make the Death Star useless, especially since he could have pretended to have a working planetary destruction beam by using some weird ship design but it's actually him doing it. No ridiculous costs building the DS1 and 2, people still believe he has a planetary destruction weapon. Also no risk of someone using it against him, which would be a reason he'd never ever build anything like a DS1 and even kill anyone who could design one.
Palpi would survive the Helldivers blowing up his planet by virtue of his body dying and his spirit inhabiting a new body. Unfortunately we've seen that this isn't instant, it takes time. And in that time (almost 2 decades or more in Disney canon) the Helldivers would conquer the Galaxy and find his clone facilities. If they don't find them he has so little powerbase to go on that any attempt will fail (he failed the first time) and he'll eventually run out of places with clone bodies.

@szymonzak5968 no actually. The movie makes it *very* clear that the Ewoks are getting their asses kicked. The Stormtroopers look like they are struggling at the beginning but not exactly dying by the dozen, the Ewoks get shots of them getting murdered and mourning the dead.
Only when the AT-ST is taken by Chewie and he goes to town does the tide truly turn.
so a few counter arguments to your points:
so while palps can't destroy star systems, he is able to do serious damage to planets via force storm in legends, but during empire era he's not at the level to do that.
isd can do significant damage to a planet's surface with sustained bombardment, with the main reason they don't just do this all the time being because they prefer targeted strikes instead of indiscriminate fire. there is a main theory that the reason the escape pod in a new hope wasn't shot was because the imperial navy was stingy with it's ammunition and wouldn't waste a shot on an uninhabited pod while they shot down all the inhabited ones.
the main purpose of the death star was to be a symbol of fear, since knowing the empire could destroy your planet with minimal difficulty would reduce the chance of uprising. there are several imperial leaders who opposed the creation of the death star, with the most notable being thrawn, since there was little to no point of having it other than as a symbol.
I would argue that it wasn't a force storm in ep 9, or at least not a true storm given how much more powerful the legends iterations of force storm are shown to be, but if we do consider it to be one then it would be interesting to see how well it would effect super destroyers since even in the movie it does nothing more than act as an emp to the ships(again, why i don't consider it a true force storm).
I think you're using the existence of a super weapon as meaning that palpatine couldn't do something a bit weirdly. I will forever argue that palpatine is weaker than what people try and legends scale him to, but he's capable of doing quite a bit more than what you're giving him. adding to this, disney is over reliant on "big laser go brrr" compared to showing anything actually interesting.
while possible for palps to survive planetary destruction, it would depend on how pissed off he is at the time since every instance of sith surviving death is due to extreme hate or anger(maul, malgus, vader) with the sole exception being disney's version of palps.

I'm pretty sure the Automaton "lasers" work the same way as Star Wars considering they seem they seem to arc and have a velocity. Maybe that's just gameplay and not actually lore accurate, but yah, wouldn't be surprised it being inspired by star wars.
Star Wars guns shoot plasma. Automotons shoot lasers. Helldiver’s have plasma weapons and they look nothing like what the Automotons fire. Star Wars guns and Automotons guns both being red is not evidence that Automotons don’t shoot lasers when they are specifically stated to shoot lasers.

Imo there's no reason to bother with any comics or scaling for sith. The only thing that really matters is space combat which as he said star wars excels. The only way for helldivers to go and conquer planets is by travelling in space where the empire would destroy their fleets. And the planets they can take over just blow them up with the death star. I agree that with the way the events play out in the video the helldivers would win but I don't see how the empire destroying super earth's fleets and planets from the safety of space isn't the play here

galactic empire looses easy, for one thing the storm troopers can bearly even see out of theyre helmets and its become an inuniverse joke that they cant aim, they dont the flight capabilities that helldivers have, theyre blasters are weak, it would take multiple shots to bring down a helldiver, while the helldivers are tearing through storm trooper armor finnaly storm troopers dont have the elite level training helldivers have or the ability to fallback on calling down orbital strikes speaking of orbital strikes moving onto ship to ship the empries got huge ships but when facing similerly big ships from a force on theyre own level theyre shields can be worn down theyre used to fighting smaller weaker forces, helldivers fight a wide range of up close and at range enemies in full scale war, helldivers have the edge in combat experiance and can hold theyre own on multiple fronts at once, wev never even seen the empire deal with that same level of threat at best fighitng a tacticaly inferior enemy in the clone wars when they fight against near endless waves of very poorly made dumb robots. now looking at theyre elite unites two sith masters... they beat the helldiver elites but wouldint get to see much action before being overwelmed with the rest of empire forces ending ether with orbital bombardment or being blown up in one of theyre ships. now for the one weapon eveyr starwars fan will turn too the 2 death stars, yes ill give them both, but cant give them the giant planet sized detah star or the death star cannon equiped ships that were shown in the new trilogy... becuase thats not the empire, its an entirely different faction, but if we pit that faction against helldivers then it would win... the empire though... nope they lose enferior in every way and even the death stars wouldint save them, too slow moving and vulnerable, while the helldivers have smaller compact planet busting weapons.
i feel like the helldivers could eventually beat the empire, but it would take a long time because they couldnt just brute force the empire, the most trouble the helldivers would have would be with thier super destroyers getting absolutely obliterated by star destroyers, but the helldivers ability to use small team tactics and hit vulnerable targets is basically what the rebellion did to beat the empire

Titanium alloys are almost always stronger than pure titanium. Much like steel is always stronger than iron and carbon (steel is an alloy made of iron and carbon). Besides different armors are made with different combinations of titanium alloy. And armor specified to resist electric attack attacks is not going to be the same one that resist acidic attacks. There is no way to truly tell how strong any of the armor is. Titanium would just be a baseline durability.
