Love it! I had a 73 super that was on it's way to being a full custom. I put 3 years into it... until during a divorce, my ex hired some guys to come into my garage and cut it in half and fill it completely with mud.

I have a '74. I love Super Beetles (I'm one of the two guys who started SuperBeetles Only! In 1999). I'm actually considering getting a 2nd Super as a dedicated autocross/track day car. I'd take it off your hand. I will watch every episode

I don't know that I'd want to take it away from someone else, but I can give you some great suggestions. I have Porsche 944 based coilovers and 26mm torsion bars, and 944 rear brakes and CSP vented rotor from brakes
will you stay 4x130 on the wheels? 5x130?
we are a 5 bolt right now. not 100 percent sure on bolt pattern measurements yet, we haven't even bothered to figure that out. Bigger issues get dealt with first lol. but we are staying 5 bolt. This setup is nice. Front disc rear drum all 5 bolt

This car was fairly clean when I purchased it Body wise. Most folks would have just drove it the way it was. But me being me wanted it perfect. Along the way yes ive had some surprises but not many and nothing I can't handle. Very excited to dig into the body . New Heater channels are Next
