Wow that’s actually a good vandalism idea.go to marina late at night with a couple drills and power supplies. Find a few nice boats not under surveillance.. pop a few holes in the hull and make the slick get away. Do a few each nice and after a while u get the whole marina done !

That was a cool RIB tow and salvage boat. It was crazy that they continued to go out the first day in that boat, I think it was an old Wellcraft, that sank. You sure do get crazy stuff that happens at and in and out of this place.
I would have loved to be at Haulover when that boat ran it in reverse 😮😅😂. Actually I think they had a few problems more than steering. It looked low in the water ..bilge was pumping at the dock when they had the cowl off ..and it wasn't pumping water too good when they passed by. DON'T FIGHT THE DAY !!
After two tunneling machine were flooded with sea water, the back up trailers were pulled out of the tunnel's. The electrics, winches, hydraulics, etc. etc. even the wall mounted phones were flushed with fresh water, air dried after maybe a month soaked in salt water. Everything worked and completed the contract. Initial Cleaning of the UK were the guys that specialize in ship salvage reclaim.
Alfred love this video....so giligan and crew backed all the way out to god knows where overnight and sank....my guess is the extension platform affixed to the stern put too much stress on the stern fracturing the Fiberglas and began leaking / sink...kinda sad though it looks like they put so work into the old boat.

I bloop-blooped my truck many years ago when retrieving my Master Craft to keep it from bloop-blooping because of a worn section of keel just ahead of the rise. It had been beached in the sand too much. It's a long story that involved adult beverages....

Tidewaters are nice from the distance. Open the hatches and they arent even finished on the edges. Raw fiberglass. Bilge paint in the bilge missing in spots. Chaotic wiring. Almost bough one till I gave it a good look over. I know its a value brand but man
Nothing wrong with motoring in reverse as long as you do so in a small area with a floatation collar or water wings attached to your craft & you proceed at a slow rate of momentum.
I figured that old wellcraft 248 was very low at the transom. CG way off.it’s has been converted to hold the bracket. They are self bailing boats in original configuration

So sad. The boat in its day was a very nice Wellcraft 24' CC. It was designed with a small block stern drive. But, as owners passed, someone had the bad idea of converting it to an outboard. Granted, some boats can manage the redesign. But this one was not. Very bad configuration. Sorry poor Wellcraft - someone did not treat you kindly.
That boat was overpowered and over weight on the stern; then "Whiskey Throttle" backwards. That's a Chit Show in it by itself. No wonder it sank. That's too bad.
Thats an old boat, probably had an inboard engine, pulled it out and made a transom for an out board engine, thats why the bow was so far out of the water, boat was out of balance., probable took water over the stern and swamped it.
Alfred did you see the video of the Freeman that ran into the inlet rocks at Boca inlet about 3 weeks ago ? I wanted to cry seeing it just run straight into it at speed, and it looked like it was brand new 😥

Alfred, there are certain repeat boaters that are dumping trash on an island in the bay. There's footage on YT of them doing it. Can you highlight these assholes when their boats come in to use the ramp????
The strongest hulls have a bow made out of Kevlar and the weaker ones have a bow made out of Chopped Fiberglas. If it's a cheap hull, then a breach/crack is more than possible.

That boat was full of water before they left.. It was very back heavy and very unstable as soon as they left the dock.
They were pumping water in the shot with the engine cover off.

I have save many engine that I have gone under water outboards inboards if you do it correctly will run just fine.
