I really love Billy's timing/phrasing jokes, he cracks me up.
Cristian Galvez el mejor y el Rey del chord melody a nivel mundial, gracias por soportar todas las criticas negativas que te hicieron, cuando decian pasenle una guitarra a este tipo, hoy en dia eres un orgullo Chileno junto a otros destacados musicos nacionales, se que seguirás buscando nuevos desafios y como siempre romperas la liga monstruo del bass. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
poco tiene que ver si es una guitarra o un bajo una bateria cuando hablamos de conjunto o jazz band, como le llames, son todos o nadie, esa es la musica, sabes que los criticones y envidiosos no llegan muy lejos a si que ni hablar, no durarian ni media hora en un gig que galvez supliria augunas Horas XD (muy preocupados los bajistas frustrados eh, por que no pudieron con la guitarra) galvez les dio en su madre!
en serio hay gente que critica que un bajista de lujo le saque 200% de provecho a su talento en el bajo? son locos esos don nadie

Un aporte a la eterna polémica de los instrumentos: En 1913 Stravinsky usó un fagot en un registro agudo para dar comienzo a una de las obras mas importantes de la historia y aún 100 años después hay gente dando jugo con que los instrumentos están amarrados a una sonoridad específica. El "lo que hay que hacer" del arte dejenlo para un contexto educativo, para introducir en el conocimiento actual de algo a un recién iniciado. Luego "lo que hay que hacer" es búsqueda de cada uno. Sacarle los trastes, pasarle un arco, usar los dientes, percutirlo, usar un pedal de distorsión, arpegiar, sucesión de acordes, etc.

Galvez toca muy bien cuando es invitado sus grupos chilenos que tiene no se igualan a esta banda ,para mi en lo personal no suena tan bien con grupos chilenos
Saw Billy and his band play in a tiny venue in manitou springs ,CO last year. I was in awe the whole time being less than 15 ft from this drumming titan. His band were excellent too ,especially his keyboard player!
