I had wright loss surgery in 2014. Dr. Fuzz at Baptist Hospital was my surgeon also. Watching you, Donna, with your daughter brought tears to my eyes. When I had my surgery my Mom had already gone home to be with the Lord. but your nurturing, loving spirit reminded me of how my mom would have taken care of me. Thank you all for being a true representation of a loving family, but most of all of Jesus. My prayers go out to your daughter. . She’s already
beautiful but losing weight will go a long way with helping her realize how beautiful she is. What is the BMI standard that is required to get approved for this surgery?

@@bossbray1113 I believe it depends on the type of weight loss surgery you get for me. My BMI was over 67 so I qualified for the duodenal switch and the gastric sleeve. I decided to do the gastric sleeve with the option of doing the second part that would turn it into the duodenal switch later if needed. But so far I've lost 100 lb since surgery and still losing. So my doctor right now does not think that it is necessary. It also depends on your doctor and the facility that you go to. I live in Florida so it may be different where you are located but definitely do a little research and call around and see what is required for the facility that you choose

I cried as well. And just watching the persistent care for your daughter made me think of my mom who passed away in 2021. No one cares like your mom. But I try to be the best mom to my children. I have twin daughters 19 years old. And a 14 year old son.

Not only did you cover your daughter, but all the doctors, nurses, and all the staff that was involved in her before care, and after care. Even the people behind the walls that is not seen.

There is nothing better than a Mother's TLC
I remember all the times i was hospitalized my mother would call a couple of times a day
Ask if i wanted anything special to eat
Wash an iron my sleep shirts all of this was after working 8 hrs a day cooking dinner for rest of the family
Then would come to the hospital
I'd tell her it's not necessary to come everyday yet she still came
Miss her for many many reasons❤😊

Im always at the hospital when someone in my family is ill. Donna I respect the love you have for your daughter. We should always have someone there at all times. It helps the nurses as well. Dude number 1 is amazing , helping with the sweet little grandson.
