    Having played guitar for 53 years with the usual six string chords a a folk singer/church worship leader, I never understood power chords. In ten minutes you have explained it all brilliantly. Well done! PS. My music theory is very good which I suppose helps a lot.

    I knew all this... but you made it much more clear to me.
    You have the Special Power of Clear Explination.
    A big part is that you could have said and done more but did not. You did what you came for and said, "Now go have some fun with it."

    The clearest and easiest demonstration on power chords I have seen. Made even easier for me given I have just started working on barre chords with my guitar teacher. Thanks for the excellent lesson.

    First off KUDOS to your cool easy approach of teaching , secondly , simply Love that guitar , Keith Richards style and I am about to buy the SQUIER classic VIBE butterscotch , now I wanna know why you do not live next door , what a dream come true that would be and just to let you know , I am sorry for being four years late for class , I have been looking around for a year and know one has ever mentioned power chords to me , thank you for your time , I really appreciate you and your time , gonna be 62 , wished you were in the neighborhood , great style of teaching , thank you

    I really enjoyed your power chord lesson. Your introduction is exactly where I’m at with my current guitar teacher. He acted offended last week when I mentioned the words “power chords”. Keep it up - great job!

    Another great video. Two of my favourite guitar riffs there, You Really Got Me and All Day and All of the Night. Currently struggling to get my head around Johnny Marr's genius riff for Bigmouth Strikes Again.
