If I download this, will all the furniture appear, like in the video?
ericfrom50 as long as you have the expansion pack that the items came with or have bought any of the store stuff that he has used in this build you should be fine. if you don't the sims game will replace the item with something you do have.
I tried downloading it and most of the stuff was not there, I think he also used modded furniture...
a little late but it's store content ahha
I am trying to find out how I can save a copy of the dorm I built to the edit town lot library so I don't have to rebuild anytime I start a new game. Do you know how to save it?
How do you do that? i mean, i try to build one on my own, it just looks like a giant box with boring furnishes.
I think since you are amazing at building you should take any world in the sims three and destroy all the houses (and public places if wanted) and "create your own world) without havering to through enter troubles of actually laying the set up and everything! Like if you agree!

When you were building the study room on the second floor, I totally experienced deja vu! But this dormitory is much nicer than any dorm I lived in. Great job!
This looks gorgeous!! And I love how you put in the dormitory a cafe, a library, etc. this way, Sims don't have to go all around Sims University to have access to these places !! Wonderful idea! It really gives the "campus" feeling, like a mini-city in one location :D
They should have hired you to design the whole campus

I know this way four years ago but I applaud your patience with the sims 3. I still play it but it’s so laggy it takes 5 minutes for me to use the the create a style to load 😫😩👏
This is really amazing. Not only is the build itself beautifully done, but the way that you have chosen to showcase the construction is truly magnificent. That you're using stop motion is just mind-boggling, but with a result like this, it suddenly doesn't even look like a Sims 3 build anymore, but a professional architecture and interior design project. This looks astonishing it also looks like a small modern university building
I love the feel of this entire build and the way that in a sense this lot is not just a dorm but an area of community that you would most likely find in a university town. If only the sims 3 let you build multi-type lots. Oh Well! Sims 4 work on it! Anyway this is a brilliant build and once my game starts working again I'd love to download it. Scratch that I'd love to go here in real life! Brilliant!

Dude, you've inspired me to build my own dorm room! This is absolutely incredible. I was searching through pictures of Sims 3 dorm rooms on Google to get some ideas, and I came across this (linked to the Sims 3 BlogSpot) and was absolutely blown away. Now that I've seen this, I'm going to try and build something similar to it.
Too bad this isn't a real dormitory, because if it was part of a college that I'm interested in attending, I'd go to this dorm! I'm not even joking!

I'm in love with this dorm, but I kinda felt like some of the rooms where too boyish, and maybe you should've had a room with a artsy theme, and a science geek, maybe a another girly room like a fashionista kinda theme, and maybe a hippie. But when I download this dorm I'll probably change the decor around a bit, overall this is an amazing dorm

wow this is freaking amazing! have you got island paradise? i'd love to see you build your own resort, especially after watching this video.
I agree with the modern vs traditional take. I find that people who really like the traditional aesthetic are more concerned with how the outside of the building looks when it's literally what's on the inside that matters. Square boxes are just more efficient for fitting furniture and will feel less cramped as less space is wasted.
