  • Using a dull blade on your lawnmower can cause the ends of the grass to dry out and turn yellow. Replacing your lawnmowers cutting blade can stop this. Follow this short video for step by step instructions on how to replace the grass cutting blade on a Flymo Visimo, Easimo, RE320, Rollermo, Venturer 32, Chevron 32V & 32VC and Speedi-mo.

The 'screwdriver in the hole' trick is what worked for me.

Screwdriver in hole, excellent idea. Mine had not been changed since we got it a long time ago, and it was very tough to undo. ... Even needed a couple of squirts of WD40

The nut and washer are well n truly rusted on and i cannot budge them. Ive tried WD40, spanner and hammer. Nothing is shifting them.

How do you fully tighten the bolt when putting the blade back on please?
It took me all my strength to loosen it after the belt detached (and I’m an ex rugby pro forward!), but it will only tighten so far in reverse - and, while it will cut OK while the motor is running, the nut/blade unscrews itself through inertia as soon as the motor stops. Holding the blade to provide resistance doesn’t work as the motor inside still turns, and the plastic motor and casing looks very weak to be able to stick a screwdrivers through to stop it!?
    Any ideas please?

Have Flymo Venturer 32 Lawnmower. CHANGING BELT = Got top cover off can see Motor but don't have right screwdrivers to go any futher? What EXACT sizes are needed = possibly Torx screwdriver for screws (but they look real small so possibly below T5 or sizes many Torx Sets start from). You would think Flymo would have this exact info. somewhere online. Thanks for help! Don't want to waste money on a set that doesn't have right sizes, or types of screwdriver, etc.
