- How to replace Flymo belt on the Flymo Lawnmower
Here are the steps to replace the drive belt on a Flymo lawnmower:
Disconnect the plug to prevent accidental starting.
Remove the cutting blade and the blade adapter.
Remove the screws holding the belt cover in place.
Remove the old belt from the motor pulley and the blade adapter pulley.
Install the new belt onto the pulleys.
Replace the belt cover and secure it with the screws.
Reattach the blade adapter and cutting blade.
Reconnect the spark plug.
Note: It's important to consult your Flymo lawnmower manual for specific instructions and safety precautions before attempting any repairs.

Saved me a new lawnmower and it's still going with that slightly ropey belt I put back on cheers Ray
I would recommend putting the belt back after flipping it so the damaged side is away from where it was before. This might help it stay on while you use it. Then order a new belt. It is strange how you call the rubber belt a fan and your screws are bolts! Anyway a very good video. Thank You.

Thanks for watching. I did not have a spare belt to change to at the time of video. The lawnmower has so far served this summer on that belt.

Hi, i have a lawnmower like this and i need to replace the belt but i have one very rusty screw, any ideas on how to get it out
@@libbystrend4768 drill top of screw off when you separate top you can remove rest of screw with players.
