These are great... just a little bright/harsh light. I wish this had a diffuser over it.
Yeah, the exposed LEDs can be blinding without a diffuser

My factory LED interior lights are plenty bright. Definitely don’t need anything brighter, but I do like the red light part. Much better for night vision than white lights and can’t see the red as far away as you can see white light. I dunno, may get them just for that function.
