I actually didn't know Chingling was a Pokemon until I played Legends Arceus and saw it wandering around, I thought "cool a new Pokemon" until finding out later that it was just a pre-evolution for Chimecho.
One of the most forgettable Pokémon to me is Bisharp for whatever reason. I really shouldn’t forget it as often as I do-I’ve used one, I love it’s design, and it’s my favorite Elite Four member’s ace-but I always find myself thinking, “Oh yeah, this awesome Pokémon exists” when looking at Unova’s roster.
I was looking Pincurchin like uh what is this spiky boi. The only time i remember fighting it was during the final rival fight even though he first got it in Circhester town
I can't forget Krikitot....I kept getting annoyed by it breaking my first chain attempts in Sinnoh. It gets boxed as soon as I catch one for the dex now
Every Pokemon is someone's favorite. My most hated Pokemon is the favorite of either Ken Sugimori or Satoshi Tajiri (forget which of them) and most of the others on my "I hate this" list are the channel mascots of prominent Poketubers of some sort or another. Cryogonal should've been like Spinda or Unown with a bunch of different purely cosmetic forms for the heck of it. Also, it learns Attract entirely because of the idea of how beautiful snowflakes are; a lot of Pokemon have moves that are mechanically useless to them just because it's thematic. LOL, Chingling. I'd never once seen or heard of it before I started Pokemon X, and kept one on my team for a while because I thought it was going to evolve into Klefki, not Chimecho.
I remember looking through my Pokémon essential handbook and I came across the finneon page, I literally did not remember that it was a Pokémon. That’s the only time I’ve ever totally forgotten one exists
As you always make top 6 videos... What about a "top 6 pokémon playthrough" series... Where you use a team of the 6 listed pokémon Might be interesting Thank you for the entertaining videos!
So far, three of my favorites on this list. Ouch. I actually brought Carbink through the whole game in moon, because I made the mistake of thinking it evolved.
I remember carbink for the movie and it being the first fairy rock type (one of my favorite game mechanics is new type combos) and how annoying it was in sun and moon and ultra sun and ultra moon
Oh my god yes I also forget about Chingling more than any other Pokémon, it's even become a joke between me & my friends about how insanely unknown it is (And it deserves it)
The only reason I use Beeheyem is for Synchronize. I caught alot of them so I'd have different nature's, since Synchronize changes natures. Pokemon I forget were Stonjouner and Eiscue.
Er.. synchronize doesn't change natures it copies the ability of the opponent. Not to be confused with the psychic type move synchronoise, which only effects Pokemon of the same type as the user (making it useless for Umbreon to have)
If I could bring up a slight reservation, it would be that if GameFreak was planning on making multiple forms for Carbink for Pokemon XY, they probably wouldn't have had enough data to put these forms in the game, partly due to the large variety of trims that they created for Furfrou for the game. And if that isn't enough to justify things, then I could also bring up how the shiny forms of Pokemon also take up data in the games and that perhaps with the amount of trims for Furfrou there were, GameFreak would have also had to create new shiny forms for these trims on top of that, thus wasting data which could have helped give Carbink its four forms before the games launched globally. Again, this is a slight reservation I have, but aside from that, this list was really good.
I started with Platinum, so while Chingling is a Pokémon I remember, Chimecho is not, mainly because I didn't actually realize that they were actually in an Evolutionary line until like 2016 when I was reminded of DP by rumors of remakes (that would obviously happen with games as well liked and in the wake of ORAS).
During my near-weekly All Pokémon Quiz completion (yes, I really do that, why don't you?), I find myself constantly forgetting evolution lines like Polteageist, Ambipom, Darmanitan, Kangaskhan, Oricorio, and even the Poli frogs and Wurmple's whole thing. Even ones I should remember for being forgettable, like Dunsparce, Sudowoodo, and Sneasel. Heck, I even forget Lycanroc a lot, I still don't know why.
Actually it's funny you say that because I tired just about every Ice type in the game except Cryogonal until I went ot look it up, because I had already forgotten about it after making this video...

The only pokemon that I often forgot is Morelull because its name threw me off so I kept thinking "More lols". This makes me think Shiinotic is an unevoled pokemon.
I intentionally forget about Carbink. The disappointment upon realizing there was no evolution for this utterly adorable pokemon made me rage quit the game for a few days. Even to this day, I find the sin unforgivable.
I remember Chingling because at the time I had a classmate from China named Qingling (pronounced the same as Chingling). I'm not joking. We even changed his laptop background to a picture of a Chingling at one point as a lighthearted prank
Gossifleurs (And Eldegosses) main problem is that its just there compared to other gen 8 mons. You will never be able to forget gen 8 mons that have a Gigamax form, nor their evolution line and Pokemon that have a special gimmick like Toxel/Toxtricity, Cramorant and Morpeko and Wooloo and Snom also have their advantage of being a meme. With the majority of the gen 8 mon, you also have something like: I want to use this Pokemon someday. With Gossifleur, its none of that. Although i find Eldegoss more forgetable, since for me, Eldegoss looks like a Swadloon with hair.

The only pokemon that I often forgot is Morelull because its name threw me off so I kept thinking "More lols". This makes me think Shiinotic is an unevoled pokemon.
I hate Shiinotic so I'm cursed with its memory for all time...
I always forget audino even tho it has a mega just I don't care for the pokemon and never think about it
I intentionally forget about Carbink. The disappointment upon realizing there was no evolution for this utterly adorable pokemon made me rage quit the game for a few days. Even to this day, I find the sin unforgivable.
What are you talking about? If these WERE Pokémon, I’d remember. LOL
Chingling is the first pokemon I ever saw (in the games) so I will never forget it
chingling is one of the more memorable pokemon for me, cause a plush of it was actually somehow my introduction to the franchise?????
Chingling. My Chingling, I want you to play with my Chingling.
I dunno why I think of this whenever I encounter this pokemon
I remember Chingling because at the time I had a classmate from China named Qingling (pronounced the same as Chingling). I'm not joking. We even changed his laptop background to a picture of a Chingling at one point as a lighthearted prank
For me, I feel like the main mon I forget is Qwilfish, to the point that it's only memorable to me because it's the one I can never remember
Top notch video. Is it me or has your voice changed over time?
Perhaps? I did get a new microphone at one point so that may have changed it...
Emperor Cubone oh that makes sense I just couldn’t put my finger on it. Anyways I look forward to your next video!
