Always nice to see a bass, well done Matt.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎣🎣🎣
Hello mate glad you watched this one
Deep appreciation not only for a fellow piscator but also the production design in this content. Incredible video +1
To add value to what I appreciate in this one is the creative angles and shots, keeps me engaged and hearing your overlays / explaining what is going on in the shot. I really adore you getting creative with things in this context
Thanks appreciate the feedback on that. I
A lovely small bass
Great video Matt, thank you for sharing with us! Congratulations on the bass!
Thanks William
Nice watch Matt 👌🏻
Nice video, great tip with a spare sock 🙂. Thanks for sharing
🫣
Great informative and entertaining video 👍
Another one that brought back memories and I thoroughly enjoyed watching.
Only one bass ,a nice one but surely a bit of a disappointing session, at least you got your super! I don't think it's a question of everything looking better in the past but I'm certain we caught more. I fished the Sussex coast in the 1950s/60s for the table and I'd have been very disappointed if I had only caught one fish in five hours.
Cup of tea and the saltwater angler. Best way to spend a hlf hour. Thanks again
Thanks for watching
Another nice little session mr saltwater and blessed with silver you was 😊 love fishing behind the third breaker out … they do run in close !! Nice one on the sock but have to confess I have never carried a spare myself…. Come home with wet ones on occasion and on one trip none at all 🙄 but it’s a long story😉 . Them crab specially the Devon ones are fine indeed but a good session requires a remortgage to acquire enough for a year so paupers like me tend to opt for some uncooked king prawn when the smoothies arrive … if they run pass in packs they eat anything in their path by my reckoning . Thank you for sharing and looking forward to seeing you out with lures 👍
Enjoyed reading that thank you ☺️
Lovely Video as always Matt , I always look forwards to your videos many Thanks
Well done Matt another fine bass, well except the one eye bit but a good one 😊
Yea I don’t think the bass was effected at all
Nice video again Matt ,with your videos the sound is not always perfect but it makes you feel we are there with you well done mate
Good point thank you
Thanks for posting Matt just a great chilled out video just what needed this evening
congratulations on the bass
Niall
Thanks for watching and as always your comment
You certainly "socked" it to them Matt. A bass always makes the day better - well done buddy
Thanks Brian - that’s one tip even you hadn’t considered
@@SaltwaterAngler I guess it was a shoe in at the editing stage! I fished that same spot recently too with similar results
great vid as always, keep exploring, always try something different, we learn when you get it right or even wrong. to a know nothing like me you're always an inspiration !
That’s a great point you make
Lovely video , if you can make more Eastbourne pier fishing videos I would really appreciate that and I know some other people who would too!
That’s good to know - I do have plans so that’s a yes
Thanks for sharing Matt 👍
Great video as always Matt. Fishing is not always bite after bite and I have fallen many times to the curse of a fish on the first cast. Always lifts our spirits though when we catch early and that was a cracking bass. Such lovely fish. It was almost unheard of catching bass from the shore on bait 50 years ago but now they seem to be more numbers inshore despite commercial netting. In your experience would you say there is just as much chance fishing for bass at low water? Plenty of good size bass being caught to big worm baits here on the Thanet coast. Even more success at night. Love watching your honest well presented videos. Best wishes,Dave broadstairs
Hi. Dave yea Bass fishing is at its best I. Terms of numbers on low tide - my records show that for bigger bass then these are caught nearer the top of the tide
Very bassy . Super vid . Many thanks .
Highly recommend this chanel, very informative fishing videos for bass and shore fishing… love everyone of them…
Hard to beat a bass 👍🏼🎣
Generous of you , thanks
Nice bass matt🤙
good bodge,
Should’ve bought that shimmy aerlex instead
🤣🤣
Could just be wear&tear&saltwater
though??
Well done Matt . But who the hell carries a sock in their pocket going fishing.
Pros do!
A one-eyed bass is better than a mackerel with two. A little more chop and I bet that mark would bring them in? Always good to see a new video. 👍
That’s a new T shirt ! A one eyed bass is better than a mackerel with two !
Very nice bass matt looking forward to the lure fishing videos, till next time tightlines
Yep still waiting on that water clearing here in East Sussex
I love your UA-cam channel mate I am watching every video
Yes 👍 top man
Nice bass buddy!!!
Love your vlogs, thanks for sharing, would love to see a sole session, Hythe used to be a great spot ?
Yea I must get to Hythe this year
Dear Matt out of all the youtubers I see you as tops for bass .In your experience out of the three crab lug squid which bait have u caught most often on or which combo has been most successful? Thanks for the good vids as always
Statistically lug. But it’s worth remembering seasonality. I’d have the peeler this time of year for sure.
Eye eye captain 🤭great just to be out fishing. Have you tried long John wet suits instead of waders, you want go back
Will take a look
When you nx fishing off hastings pier or harbour wall cheers
No fishing on Hastings Pier unfortunately ! Bit dodgy up on that harbour arm and surrounded by tombstone jumpers! Ha you'll see me a bit more off the beaten track this summer for sure
Do they still have the bass fishing competition Llandudno
How big in lbs do you think that bass was?
54cm - I recon 3.5lb
